We booked this cabin to come down and visit Eureka Springs. The cabin has a beautiful view of the lake sitting on the side of a hill and was very quiet and peaceful. The cabin was very clean and we loved the vintage furniture and accents! If youâre looking for a peaceful place to relax by a fire pit for a week or a weekend, this place is great! Host is very attentive and responsive!
The views are amazing. Perfect for a small family or a couple friends. The owners had a playpen & bumbo sat out for us since we brought our 4 mo son with us. Also responded quickly when I had any questions. We had the best time and when we decide to come back to the lake, we will book again!
This has been our lake escape since I was a child. We recently renovated the property to the studs and have enjoyed it with our small children. Now we are busy and want to share the property with other small families or couples looking to escape to a quiet remote lake cabin. Enjoy it!
The original structure was originally built in the 1840s on the White River when the area was homesteaded. It was a one bedroom home that the family built and lived in for many years. The construction was with hand hewn oak harvested from the area and hand hammered square nails. Throughout the coming years the tomato farm was eventually sold to the Corp of Engineers to build Table Rock Lake when the structure was moved to its current location in 1956-ish. Plumbing and electric was then added in addition to a large sleeping porch and a bathroom on the back porch. The original windows from the back porch remain. In 2018 the home was in need of some love, and was renovated. The sleeping porch is now the dining and living room. The original porch was in the location of the current bathroom and the master bedroom was the original family room. This history and these changes are why you may feel some 'unlevel' areas of the home.
