Situé sur 10 acres privés donnant sur le lac Canandaigua. Notre maison est située au centre de tout ce que les lacs de doigt ont à offrir pour toutes les saisons. À quelques minutes de la station de ski de Bristol Mountain, qui possède 1200 'vertical et 100% d'enneigement. Accès au sentier de motoneige des lacs Finger. Le port de Bristol est à 1,6 km et une épicerie / magasin d'alcool à 5 km dans le Cheshire. Raquette et collines pour les enfants à faire de la luge. Assez proche de toutes les commodités pour le rendre très pratique mais dans un cadre champêtre privé.

Amazing views!

This house in Canandaigua was perfect for our family. It has so much space and was clean and had everything we needed. The arcade games and shuffleboard table were a huge bonus as well as the hot tub. The best part was the view of Canandaigua Lake. Just breathtaking! The host was amazing and very quick to respond to questions.

This is an outstanding property. The view of the lake is fantastic. The property is very private. Hot tub was nice. Inside of the house is very nice and well kept. I highly recommend this property for family or a group of adults. Game room was a nice feature too. The host was fantastic and highly reponsive to our inquiries! I would definitely keep this place in mind for future visits to the area. Check in and check out were easy.

Beautiful well appointed property! Ahilltop house, quiet, with a stunning view of the lake! We used the hot tub every day, and had a great game room that had indoor and outdoor games. Fire pit as well. The house was clean, comfortable and beds were very cozy. There was A/C , kitchen was well stocked, and complimentary coffee fit the bill! This property was so nice, it was hard to leave for any day trips.Thank you, Mike and Kyra. We hope to be back again soon.

Quiet with beautiful views

Spacious, clean property with amazing views over Canandaigua lake. It was perfect for a small reunion with my sisters. We found plenty of things to do for the weekend from hiking to wine tasting. Our hosts were easy to contact and answered questions promptly.

Great View

Great property with plenty of room for our three generation group. The only negative was the lack of A/C in the main living area. However, the bedrooms all had window units which made them comfortable and closing the blinds in the morning and the ceiling fan helped. We had a great stay.

Amazing property!

The host was easy to communicate with. The property was amazing and fit our group of 8 perfectly. We had 2 sets of families, ages ranged from 11 to 48. The views are breathtaking and the location of the property was perfectly peaceful yet close to a near by town. We visited the local park often where it had volleyball, basketball, tennis, a pooltable among many other things to do.

Beyond Expectations

A great place for us and our 2 adult children’s families! The views were exceptional overlooking the like, and the location provided seclusion for us. The beach at the bottom of the hill is perfect for all ages. The house was great! Each family took a separate level for privacy, and the main level is great for all to gather. All supplies were provided, and we can’t recommend it enough for your consideration.

Wonderful Week

Our extended family had a wonderful week together! The house was clean and had everything we needed. There was lots of space for everyone to spread out and spend time together. The owners were communicative, helpful and responded quickly to our questions. The view and property were beautiful. It's an easy 10-15min drive to Canandaigua for groceries, restaurants and stores. There is also a public park nearby with lake access.

Being a first time Vrbo customer, the experience was good, not sure I would do it again as I was too aware I was in someone else's home.

The house was clean and nicely furnished, it was a comfortable stay.

We needed to rent this property in short order because of an unsatisfactory rental we initially arrived at. We were able to book this place in 24 hours and gain occupancy, so it saved us from a ruined vacation.

Fabulous house and view!

I rented this house for my husband and I and our kids and grandkids for a family reunion. We fit 5 adults comfortably; 4 of the 5 grandkids bunked in the west bedroom (not facing the lake) bedroom and the 20 month old stayed in the same room as his parents. The deck and view are just everything! We sat outside every night, talking and sipping wine. Saw a spectacular moonrise one night! The room off the kitchen we used as a playroom for the kids and it worked out well. The comfortable living room and big table - all with that amazing lake view - made hanging out together at night a pleasure. Plenty of bathrooms and loved that there was some laundry soap to use. Wish there had been body wash, shampoo and conditioner, that was really the only downfall. We used Onanda park for our family reunion, and it is just 5 minutes away, so super convenient. Swam there every day! Mike is a very responsive host and easy to get a hold of. You'll love staying here!

I worry about this place

Although the house is nice and the view is incredible, the downstairs shower has NO HOT WATER. I must complain about this because when organizing a vacation, bathrooms are essential. The owners did help with this issue nor are they offering any compensation for lack of accuracy. Also, the dishwasher does not work. Due to the communication and apathy of the owners, I do not recommend this place. I also believe VRBO should ask for paperwork guaranteeing that the downstairs shower and dishwasher are fixed. I have been led to believe that the owners do not think these issues are essential.

Thank you for your feedback and so sorry your stay was not what you were hoping for. In fairness we did tell you prior to your stay the dishwasher was broken and due to supply issues (Covid) we were not able to fix it in time which guest shared no problem. We have since replaced the dishwasher and the hot water is fixed for the shower. While I understand bathrooms are essential the house did have two other working showers. Also the guest showed up unannounced on the property a day prior to their check in. I worry about this guest as there was an incident that involved local authorities and was not shared with me. In addition I have documentation of my responses and I offered to fix the shower or take money off but was refused by guest.

House on the hill

Our family loved this house and its location. It sits above the lake on the west side providing spectacular views. The house was modern and secluded from neighbors without being isolated from everything, and all amenities were provided. Mike was a great host and answered all of our questions. Mike also runs a boating business on the lake in his off time and we had a fantastic afternoon on the lake with Mike on his boat learning to wake surf. Well, the boys learned to wake surf and the adults mostly learned we are not that young anymore! Canandaigua town is about 10-15 minutes away which allowed us to get take-out food relatively easily. We also went to nearby Bristol Mountain and went down the zipline course which was a blast. There were some areas of the house that were undergoing renovation improvements, but they had no impact on our stay. At the time of our visit, the tap water was not drinkable due to the well water system, so we had to go buy our drinking water which was unexpected. We were told that there are plans to correct this in the near future. We highly recommend this house to families who want a quiet place in the Finger Lakes to venture out and enjoy the area.

I especially enjoy teaching Wake Surfing in the summer through my company Cheshire Cat Surf Company. I am a Golf Course Superintendent in the area. I love spending all my time outside exploring the Finger Lakes and hope to share new memorable experience with my guests.

I was fortunate enough to build this house on my grandfathers land. This land has been part of my family for many generations and we hope you enjoy the peace and serenity.
