Had 3 teens and myself for the week. Plenty of room to spread out in. Kitchen had more pots and cookware than any rental kitchen I ha e been in. Cooked for 10 one night and very easy. Great balcony!!!
Property and grounds were great. Just my sons TV did not work. They tried to fix it several times but were unable to had to leave bedroom doors open for AC to work. all the bedroom doors touch the floor so with doors shut no circulation.
Iâm going to preface my review with I am a VRBO owner with a property in Orange Beach. Our property was not available last minute and I had to book a place on Saturday for the week starting on Sunday. The email I received stated we could check in after 4. There was no one in the unit based on the calendar the day before. I reached out to the owner which turns out is managed by Brett Robinson a major rental company in OB and asked if I could check in earlier they said it might be possible but I could certainly use the facilities on the property prior to checking in. I went ahead and attempted an early check in. The unit wasnât ready. I did not get to check in until 5:45. That was disappointing that the unit was not ready when it was said to be. The unit was not as clean as I would like. But, I do have high standards for cleaning and I admit this.
The unit is dated but fine because you are there for the beach. We didnât have a pretty week which pushed us inside the majority of the stay. The two king beds are very comfortable but the twins seemed pretty cheap. There are no blankets in the unit except the two on the king beds. The sofa sleeper has a sign that says not to use. Itâs a spacious unit. In comparison to the Caribe and Turquoise itâs more affordable. The ice maker is a nice amenity to the unit.
We enjoyed our visit to Orange Beach and to the Phoenix VIII. Only inconvenience was having to leave one of our vehicles parked in the overflow lot, but other than that had a great time!
