We came up to Anna for the eclipse and had a wonderful visit to this small town. Our host was most welcoming and went out of her way to make us feel at home and comfortable. This is a quaint apartment in a charming old building. Clean, comfortable and convenient. I would recommend.
Clean and cozy apartment centrally located on a wonderful Main Street. Host was very nice and easy to communicate and work with. Great location near many state parks and wineries. Very pleasant stay.
This apartment was perfect for our needs (we were hiking and biking in the immediate area) and the owner could not have been nicer or more accommodating. A few key things to note: There is an inside area where we could store our bikes so we didnât have to worry about them. We especially enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants (shoutout to Brick House Grill - excellent)! Iâd also like to note how clean the place was too which is very important to us.
The host, Lee, was incredibly easy to communicate with. The apartment had everything we needed. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and soft, fluffy towels.
This was a comfortable and safe place to stay. The Wi-Fi was very good. It is located in the downtown area of a small town near many restaurants. It is on the second floor so there are stairs. The hosts were friendly and responsive
Oct big time for wine trail so most lodging filled with our last minute decision to travel. Found this charming little apt. on VRBO. Suited us fine. One day biking tunnel hill and one day golfing Keller's Crossing. Especially nice we could store our bicycles inside. Hosts very sweet and eager to please. Brick House Grill across the street got our business 2 nights. Yummy.
Owners are extremely kind, easy to work with and extremely accommodating!! One of the few, if not the only, rental units in Anna. Apartment is very clean and well stocked. I would highly recommend this rental!
I believe you will absolutely adore the Downtown Venture apartment. The building was built circa 1878, and was host to various businesses to include hair salon, cobbler, and from 1960s to 2009 a pharmacy and soda fountain with various owners. It has been vacant since 2009 and we bought it in November 2016. The goal was to save the 140-year old building on Main Street. The second floor was a damaged and an abandoned storeroom. The building was gutted and slowly brought back to life with love and respect. The Gathering Place: Family Resource and Genealogy shop is on the first floor and two one bedroom apartments are upstairs. The entire county is appreciative of our extensive restoration efforts, and we are proud to offer one of the upstairs apartment to you. Please enjoy and relax here while you visit all southern Illinois has to offer. Thank you for choosing Downtown Venture!
