Vues incroyables sur le lac Whitingham et la forêt nationale de Green Mountain. Ciel ouvert et couchers de soleil. La maison se trouve sur 8 hectares, environ 4 défrichés, tachés de bouleaux blancs-permettant un ensoleillement suffisant. Ponts couverts avec vue sur le lac complet avec barbecue.
Allée est labourée et poncée en hiver. Toutefois, nous exigeons que vous disposiez de véhicules à traction intégrale ou à traction intégrale. La neige souffle et les parties de l'allée sont raides.

Maison a un grand plan d'étage ouvert avec des plafonds cathédrale dans la cuisine, salle à manger et salon. Les poutres en bois apparentes procurent une atmosphère de cabine confortable. Il y a une tanière avec un poêle à bois juste à côté du salon. 1 chambre est hors de la tanière, 2 chambres sont de l'autre côté de la maison, la 4ème est à l'étage principal juste à côté de l'entrée principale. Nouvellement construit 2019.

Beautiful

The house and view of the lake are beautiful. It was one of the most relaxing vacations we've taken. Everyone loved it! We had a great time and got a lot of use out of the game room. The yard was big enough to play lots of lawn games. Tony was a pleasure to work with. Would love to stay here again.

First off, the house is amazing. The view of the lake is wonderful and it is very peaceful being up on the hill overlooking the lake. The house also feels very spacious - lots of places for people to spread out and relax. And the game room was great - we really enjoyed that element of the house and it added a lot to our stay.Second, Tony is a great host. Very friendly and helpful and always quick to respond.One note about using the lake. Walking down the hill to swim is fine and its a nice spot to float and enjoy. If you want to kayak the kayaks are close to the bottom of the hill, but you do have to get them down to the lake (and then back up the hill a little when you're done). There is a cart to help with moving the kayaks, and it's certainly very doable (I did it pretty much every day). But it is a little taxing - especially bringing them back up after kayaking. But it's worth it - because there isn't much development around the lake it is very peaceful and serene, especially in the early morning. You can quickly kayak to spots where there are no houses in sight and the only thing you hear are the birds. Fabulous.Overall - great property, attentive host, wonderful location.

Our stay in Wilmington

The property was perfect for our family of 8. The view from the lawn looking out over the water was breathtaking. Deer passed through every morning, fireflies at night, even a few hummingbirds. The game room was a huge bonus too. We made a lot memories. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Great property

We rented this property for our yearly “friends group” vacation, and we were not disappointed. The view from the deck and yard is beautiful. It was the perfect backdrop for some yard games and hanging out. The house itself had plenty of activities and room for a group of guys to keep entertained for a couple of nights. Wilmington had just enough amenities to be convenient but still rural. Tony was extremely responsive and accommodating, as well. Overall, it was a perfect rental for the weekend.

Family Vacation 2025

Our annual family ski vacation is always at Mt Snow. This year we were lucky enough to spend a week at Tony and Jeanette’s home. Which is exactly as we felt - at home. The house is beautiful and the amenities perfect. The home was clean, guest linens and towels, paper goods all provided. We loved the view and the binoculars!! We would love to stay again.

Excellent ski trip

My extended family had an excellent stay at this property. It is clean, well stocked and cared for and has more than enough room for our two families of four to both spread out and come together. Multiple people in our party commented on this being the best game room we’ve had at a vacation house and the view was equally impressive, both of the lake during the day and the stars at night. Convenient 15 minutes to Mount Snow and lots of places to eat and drink right in Wilmington. For someone like me who gets up before the sunrise to ski, it’s also the little things like the lights of the plow clearing the driveway at 5:45am on a powder day that separate the good places from the great places and this is a great place.

Perfect getaway

The owner was available through call/text, although we didn’t need anything. Beautiful house with even more beautiful views. The game room was a big hit. Hot tub and sauna were great as well. This house has everything! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic Summer Retreat for the Family!

Superb views of the Vermont Mountains and spacious property made this a location my family would love to revisit! We booked Tony's home rather last minute as a Labor Day retreat for my family and several friends, we were blown away by the facilities on-site and closeness to the lake. The kids loved the game room, bicycles, and even tried kayaking by themselves. As a note to perspective renters, this property is about a 1,000ft walk to the lake from the hill the house is based on. Older renters might want to take a vehicle to the Lake if uphill walks are challenging. 10/10

Spectacular view with lots of things to do

Tony's place was an excellent choice for our group of 10 (two families with 6 teens/young adults). Game room with pool table and shuffleboard was a big hit (ping pong table was a mini size). Plenty of space for a large group. Comfortable beds and kitchen was well-stocked with pots/pans, dishes, and utensils. Our group made use of the grill, fire pit (made smores), bikes, kayaks, paddleboard, and cornhole. Lake access is at the bottom of a steep driveway with a public picnic area and gravel boat launch which we used for a small motorboat. Quaint downtown is 1 mile in and grocery store is very close. Tony was very responsive and an excellent host.

Good stay - would be great with a few minor tweaks

Our party of 10 were here for the first time celebrating my husband's 40th birthday, and overall it was a really good stay - only issues were we didn't see until the onsite instructions we had to forage for our own firewood and couldn't use anything already chopped in the shed, the hot tub was actually NOT available (which wasn't clear from the listing and we were looking forward to it), and the grill/grill brush was found in such grimey shape when we opened it we didn't want to use it despite planning to. The owner look a little bit to respond to our questions via Vrbo once we were onsite, but then once we exchanged cell phone #s he did call to check in a couple times. There wasn't anything to be done about the hot tub or wood, but he said the grill had been cleaned last week so had only a week's worth of grime on it (even though to us it looked like a lot more...). Since the only cleaning brush was also so grimey we decided not to use it and opt for the oven instead; which was a bummer. So a few issues that weren't necessarily a deal breaker, but kind of frustrating to get those surprises/lost opportunities. Otherwise, the stay was enjoyable with perfect weather and we made some good memories.

Great place for extended family getaway

Everything here was great! Clean and well organized, lots of helpful kitchen supplies, towels, pillows, and sheets. Game room kept the older kids (and the 40-something dad) peacefully occupied. Beautiful views! Wonderful Sauna. Bring your bug spray as the flies are little crazy out in the yard. Highly recommend this property.

I'm a Commercial photographer based out of Long Island, NY. One of my hobbies is renovating homes, so you will see a lot of my personal work at this home in Wilmington. I've been coming to Wilmington for 25+ years. As a water skiier, I fell in love with the water quality at the lake for summer time boating.

I am 34 years married to my wonderful wife Jeannette and have two great kids.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

From the moment we stepped on to the property we knew we had something special.
Location was just ideal, with incredible lake views, boat ramp at end of private drive, only 1 mile to quaint downtown Wilmington. Close to Mount Snow. And of course, the super clean lake... it had it all.
Ok...the house needed some work... but I could handle that! We made the move and never looked back.
