Ideal location for a summer getaway. Tucked about an hour north of Jackson, WY this was an ideal spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It is exactly as it is described. A cabin in the woods. Loved it!
I booked this cabin but the day before we arrived ( while we were driving from Texas) I received a phone call which said we couldnât stay in this cabin because of some damage so we were moved to another cabin nearby. I never had any communication with the host for this cabin, but Hilary who was the host for the new cabin was awesome. I wanted to leave a review for the cabin we actually stayed in but the only link they send me is for this cabin. So grateful to Hilary for saving our trip and making the experience so positive!
The communication was excellent and both Hilary and John were very responsive. We had a bat get in the house, I texted Hilary on a Saturday and John came to our cabin very quickly and by the time we were back from our hike, the bat was gone. I did knock the property a bit on cleanliness, but this is a cabin, so it is nearly impossible to take care of all the spiders, so there were a couple webs in the house that made it seem unclean along with a couple other small issues. The bedding and bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen were very clean, so do not let it discourage you, but be prepared that this is a cabin in the mountains. The location was terrific! About 15 minutes from the Moran entrance and an hour from Jackson, so come with the food you need. If you are a military buff, co wider driving an hour to the National Museum of Military Vehicles near Debois.
We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was very comfortable, clean & was just as the pictures show. Only problem was the washer/dryer was out of order. We were hoping to do laundry while staying there. We were told we could use the washer/dryer just up the road, but that really wasn't convenient. They owner/property manger were trying to get the washer repaired & we understand things happen. The cabin was in a nice location & we enjoyed the scenery driving to & from. I would stay here again & I would recommend the cabin to anyone wanting a sense we of privacy.
Oh my gosh, this is like being in the country, right near GTNP. The place was fantastic - clean, everything we needed. There were cows which go down the street sometimes - and the drive back to the Tetons is spectacular!!!!
The location was perfect, we were able to easily access Grand Tetons and Yellowstone during our stay. The loft was perfect for kids and could be used easily for adults as well. A true log cabin feel with firewood provided.
We were overall pleased with the property. However, our main disappointments were that the fireplace was not working, we werenât allowed to have a fire ring outside (which had nothing to do with the owners it was a government mandate) the bathtub drain was clogged until we bought the Draino to fix it, the front window was cracked, only two of the outdoor lights were working, the grill outside was pretty grimy so we didnât use it. The location was great, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with the utensils we needed. The furniture was clean and comfortable. It was a little hard to get the property manager to answer us, but, in the end we got that worked out too. We enjoyed our stay - just wish a few details were taken care of before we got there.
This was a really nice cabin and we enjoyed staying there. That said, it is about a 20 minute drive to the nearest tourist sites and about 50 minutes from the town of Jackson, but A LOT of the tourist sites are way north of Jackson. Seven friends stayed there and we all liked it. Its very open to the loft area, which has a half bath. The downside is just one full bathroom/shower. It was very quiet and therefore you could hear everything, which apparently disrupted some people's sleep BUT that is a whole other conversation.... Also just 5-7 minutes down the road is a ranch with a restaurant, so it was nice to have that so convenient. Because of where it was located we were driving past an area where a couple of Grizzlies frequented, so we got to see them and their cubs. If we stayed somewhere else I'm not sure if we would have seen them or not... We recommend this place!

Wonderful property which has all the needed items for a great stay. Great kitchen with all the items you need to cook a nice family meal, spacious environment allowing for kids to spread out, and enough beds to make sure people could feel at home. Distance from the park was not a concern and the scenic area was great to travel through. Will book again if at the Grand Tetons! Thank you!
Great location and great property managment support.
We felt very welcome and the house was very cozy. The cottage is perfectly located for trying the hikes in both Grand Teton and Yellowstone. Our 2 week stay was very pleasant and I would definitely recommend this house.
Great remote location, very quiet with close access to the Tetons and Yellowstone!
A little difficult to find in the dark. Very clean and comfortable other than full sized beds on the main floor. Had some heating issues which the owner and property manager were very responsive in addressing. Great neighborhood with access to Togwotee pass via snowmobiles. Overall I would recommend and plan to return!
