Préparez-vous pour les vacances de rêve des Caraïbes de votre vie! Directement sur le sable, ce rez-de-chaussée, la beauté en bord de mer est entouré par l'océan turquoise tout autour et est une unité de luxe extra-spéciale! Il est situé à la pointe de Rum Point, aux îles Caïmans, et offre des vues spectaculaires sur l'océan et un accès immédiat à la plage depuis votre véranda en bord de mer de 40 pieds juste à côté du salon et de la chambre principale!

Notre évaluation a indiqué que c'était la meilleure unité de The Retreat en raison des plages des deux côtés, des vues de tous les espaces de vie, du rez-de-chaussée, littéralement à quelques pas du sable. (La plupart des autres unités ont une vue partielle et ne sont pas un accès à la plage au niveau du sol et sont attachées ou au-dessus d'autres condos - l'emplacement et la propreté de celui-ci sont très spéciaux!)

* Plan d'étage spacieux, 1767 pieds carrés et eaux turquoise tout autour. À deux pas de la plage de sable blanc!

* Sur la pointe! La seule unité qui offre une vue imprenable sur l'océan depuis les chambres, la cuisine et les espaces de vie

* Les gestionnaires sur place pour ce condo exclusif et vierge. Les propriétaires répondent presque instantanément par e-mail pour répondre à toutes les questions que vous pourriez avoir à tout moment pendant votre séjour.

* Condo merveilleusement confortable, propre et immaculé avec une excellente climatisation, une vue inégalée et un emplacement de premier plan au rez-de-chaussée.

* La zone de loisirs de Rum Point Beach, juste en bas du sable, propose des excursions et des activités amusantes à gogo. Stingray City, Sunset Cruises, Bio-luminescence Kayak Tour, Snorkeling Excursions, etc..

* Faites de la plongée avec tuba, nagez, faites du kayak ou détendez-vous sur la plage en entrant juste devant votre porte

* Seulement 23 unités au total à "The Retreat". Emplacement exquis et privé!

* Aucun autre locataire à vos côtés, en dessous ou au dessus! Seulement derrière toi!

* Fun, bar de plage funky est juste en bas du sable qui sert des hamburgers, de délicieux poissons, des sandwiches au poisson et des cocktails incroyables! Essayez le Sunset Punch ou Mudslide!

* Situé hors des sentiers battus dans le côté calme de Grand Cayman à Rum Point. Vraiment une escapade sur une île de rêve pas comme les autres!

The condo location is fabulous, just steps from your own beach. The area is very quiet. It's perfect if you just want to relax and enjoy the ocean.

Fantastic Rum Point Vacation!

Fantastic view, quiet location, great beach access to rum, plenty of room. Katrina and Matt were super responsive from providing great pre-trip information along with helping us with a couple of things while we were there. Favorite feature was the screened in lanai, I sat there every morning reading my book, enjoying the view and the breeze. The place is well stocked with everything from beach towels to kitchen basics and lots of snorkel and beach stuff. We had a wonderful trip and this place was a perfect fit!

First time, great time!

Quiet beach relaxation only feet from the door. Fun options for dining and activities nearby. The host’s emailed recommendations were fantastic, especially as it pertains to viewing sea life while snorkeling. The property was extremely clean, and inviting. With laundry available, I was way over packed. Is a bit of a drive from George Town and the airport, but worth it. Looking forward to going back again.

Rum Point Fall Getaway

We had an absolutely magical stay here in Rum Point, a great location away from the bustle and busyness of the George Town side of the island. We were in the ocean every day, eating fish drinking rum every night. We swam with stingrays, sat among starfish, and ran our hands through the otherworldly bioluminescent waters of the nearby bay. Our time here could not have been more tranquil and refreshing -- we were torn leaving such a high (and accurate) rating for fear that others will learn about this gem of a home.

Beautiful place!

Our week here was fabulous! This place is amazing and beautiful! It had everything we needed. The area is beautiful and this place is perfect. It had plenty of space. Our luggage was lost on the way and I was glad there were beach towels to use and a washer/dryer. The owner was quick to respond with questions. We would definitely stay here again, it was sad to have to leave.

Perfectly Peaceful

Our family enjoyed a beautiful week at Retreat at Rum Point. The condo has everything you need and we love the peace of this part of the island. Dinners at Kaibo and Upstairs were incredible and frozen drinks from Rum Point or the blender in the kitchen were delicious. We loved being able to snorkel right out the screen door! We will book again!

You will love it!

This condo and location is spectacular. I've never seen a condo this clean. We loved everything about it. Walking next door to relax in the shaded water at Rum Point was a huge benefit for our fair skinned beauties. Definitely 5 stars.

Quite, relaxing, and great location

The beach was quiet and right at your back door. The condo was stocked with everything we needed and very comfortable for our family of four. Our kids grabbed their snorkel gear, walked out the door and into the water. Some reviews made comments about construction next door and while it does exist, it in no way impacted our stay or was really noticeable. I would certainly recommend this location and particular condo to others.

Winter break

We had a fantastic week at Rum Point with our kids ages 10 and 12. The unit was perfect with everything in the kitchen and a good nonstick pan, which is rare in a rental! We loved the location on the point and the convenience of the ground floor unit. We snorkeled right off the beach and were amazed to see turtles, rays, and even a couple of nurse sharks and an eel! The neighbors were friendly and made great conversation, and we were able to fully relax and enjoy the sunsets every night. We’d love to stay here again!

Great stay on the laid back side of the island

We have always stayed at Morritts but decided to stay closer to Rum Point this trip. You can’t get any closer than The Retreat and we are so glad we found this gem. The condo was so clean and decorated so pretty. It had every comfort of home and have zero complaints. There is a restaurant next door, close grocery store and close to starfish point. We only drove to Georgetown one day to let our daughter do some touristy things but relaxed on the North End for the rest of our stay. Red Sail Sports picks you up next door at the Rum Point dock for boat outings which is really nice to not have to drive to meet them. It is a must stay!!!!!

PERFECT!

Perfect, perfect, perfect - everything about this unit was fantastic! Very clean - cute - comfortable - the pictures do not lie! Love the slightly "isolated" location, but several restaurants nearby - we saw the entire island and so glad we did not stay on Seven Mile Beach! Great snorkeling right in front of the condo! We cooked most nights and the kitchen was well supplied. I would HIGHLY recommend this unit to anyone!

Ideal beachfront condo away from the crowds

Great condo. Right on the water, ground floor walk out. Very spacious for 4 people, clean and well appointed. Private but not totally isolated from others. Having the private retreat beach and privacy connectedwith the party atmosphere of the Rum Point beach next door was nice. The snorkeling out front was great with one of the best spots in the Caymans only 100 yards out. Catch the sunrise and sunset from the front porch. Trips to other parts of the island not far in a rental car.Kaibo Upstairs the best restaurant on the island just down the street. This may have been the best beachfront rental we have ever had.

Perfect location, very relaxing

We rent VRBOs regularly and this is definitely one of the best - pristine clean, everything you need, whether eating in or out, and great location with reef snorkeling right outside the back door. Lovely quiet beach at the Retreat with a great bar and restaurant within two mins walk. Our 8 year old loved it and spent hours snorkeling the small reef out from the beach or under the pier - spotted a huge lobster under the night lights at the end of the pier and was so excited! Great location away from the Cruise Ship melee, but still only 40 mins back into town if and when needed - tip: check the Port website for the ship itinerary to understand just how busy it will be each day in Georgetown/Seven Mile Beach. Don’t miss the less visited East Side either - GC has much to offer for all tastes! Overall, a great vacation - kudos to #23 cleaning crew - everything really was in good shape!

Amazing Island Condo, Perfect Location - Beware Hurricane Season

We had the pleasure of staying at this incredible island condo in Grand Cayman, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The location is unbeatable, with stunning ocean views and easy access to pristine beaches. The condo itself is beautifully appointed, with modern amenities, comfortable furnishings, and everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The accommodations were top-notch, providing all the comforts of home with the added luxury of being in a tropical paradise. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease. The living area was spacious and inviting, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the island. The bedrooms were cozy and quiet, ensuring a restful night's sleep. However, one important thing to note is to always check the weather during hurricane season before traveling. Unfortunately, we had to evacuate just two days after our arrival due to an approaching hurricane. This led to some challenges in finding a flight off the island, which added stress to our otherwise wonderful vacation. Despite this hiccup, we still highly recommend this condo for its prime location and fantastic accommodations. Just be sure to keep an eye on the weather forecasts if you plan to visit during hurricane season. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we would love to return under better circumstances!

The best place in Rum Point!

This is our third visit to Rum Point, and the condo was far and away the best of them all! The location is perfect - right on the beach, and only a short walk to Rum Point Club where they serve the most fantastic margaritas! The condo was clean, light, bright and comfortable as well as being very well equipped. The only advice I have for anyone staying at Rum Point is - DO NOT ARRIVE ON A SUNDAY! All the grocery stores on the island are closed, as are most of the restaurants. We had to make the 45 minute drive the next morning, time we could have been on the beach...This is not a reflection on the condo, which was just lovely. We went with our two granddaughters over Spring Break, and they enjoyed it as much as we did. Having the Sting Ray City outing as well as the bio luminescence trip so close really made life easy! Thank you Katrina and Matt for sharing your lovely place, we hope to be back next year!

Lovely, relaxing stay

We loved staying here! The property was very spacious and well stocked. We didn't feel it was lacking anything. The location could not have been better. We traveled with our six year old son and had a great time soaking up the sun, snorkeling right off shore, catching a few boat excursions from the nearby dock, and just relaxing on the beach or the porch. The beach was always quiet and chairs were always available. Katrina and Matt were available to answer any questions very quickly. I cannot think of anything that could be improved upon and I hope we get the chance to get back there soon. I have stayed on Seven Mile Beach before and I am now a convert to the Rum Point area. So peaceful and relaxing. Property was exactly as described in the listing, we made a stop at the grocery store on our way in as suggested and stocked up for some meals we knew we wanted to have in. Other than that there were enough restaurant options nearby to keep us satisfied and of course there are more than enough dining options all over the island if you have a car or want to catch a taxi. Overall, a very lovely time. Thank you Katrina and Matt.

Paradise

We couldn't be more happier! This property was perfect for our girl's trip. The condo and grounds were very clean and the staff very friendly. Katrina sent all the instructions and tips.... which were extremely helpful. We arrived after office hours but had clear instructions on how to enter. The location is far from the hustle and bustle.... which was perfect for what we were wanting. Starfish Point was a mile away. We didn't need to book any trip. Just take your snorkle gear and hop in! Red sail is right next door to go swim with the stingrays.....awesome excursion! This is the perfect property for relaxing. Everything you need is there. Plenty of kitchen utensils, towels, closet space, games, floats, beach towels, and outside shower to rinse off. We enjoyed the conversation cards at the dinner table each night😁 I am definitely going back to this property and slice of heaven. We all teared up when we had to leave. Thank you Katrina and Matt for opening your slice of paradise for us to enjoy!

Amazing Retreat!

We've been to GCM many times but this was our first stay on the North Side. The sunsets are stunning and became the event of the day for us. We walked next door to Rum Point for a cocktail or snack. The restaurant is remodeled and beautiful. The GM Cory was so welcoming and took great care of us. We rented a kayak for the week and spent a ton of time paddling around. The snorkeling was fantastic. There is sea grass in the shallows as you wade out, it isn't the soft sand of SMB but it is quiet and beautiful and the private beach is great. We drove to Starfish and had a fun afternoon. We could have walked but it was too hot. The condo is perfect. Views from everywhere you turn. The little yard out front was perfect for the kayak and some extra privacy. The whole complex is very quiet and peaceful. We found everything we needed in the condo and it was super clean. The layout was fantastic for us a our pre-teen. There were plenty of beach towels, and we just popped them in the dryer at the end of the day. The only drawback we found is the lack of water pressure in the showers but that is an island thing I believe. If you bring a flashlight you can find crabs in the bushes at night. We shopped at Kirk's in town after we landed because we like the food and the variety there. Chisholm's close to the condo came in handy for a few things we needed and beer throughout the week. We will definitely be back and stay at Retreat 23!

AHHHHHHHHHHH!

This Property did not disappoint and was better than the write ups. The owner's were very easy to deal with and the condo was better stocked in every way that the last 5 we have rented all over the Caribbean. The view out of every window was SPECTACULAR! Rum Point is located on the quite side of the island which is what we were seeking. We travelled with two adult children. We had been advised that there are NO groceries open on the island on Sundays which was when we arrived and planned accordingly. We felt safe and secure more than any other island we have been on. This was my FB post "Snorkeled everyday, swam with sea turtles, gorgeous fish, ok ok so the sharks, barracuda, 5 eels and oh yeah the lion fish were a bit scary! I kissed a Stingray for 7 years of good luck at Stingray City. Really enjoyed spending time with the sea turtles at the farm until a baby one tried to bite my toes! We laid in lounge chairs in the back of our condo enjoying the stars, snorkeled at Starfish Point 2 minutes away at dusk, moonlit kayaking in an iridescent bay, laid in hammocks, drank beer, wine and painkillers (which is what you do when vacationing with kids in their twenties), negotiated the tides and stayed in a condo with the dreamiest of views! Pinch me!"

Love Love Love this location!

This was our second trip to Grand Cayman, and our second stay at The Retreat at Rum Point! This condo was exactly what we wanted! Extremely spacious for the 4 of us to stay comfortably. The extra half bath came in handy! Plenty of towels, snorkeling gear, floats, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed, but we didn't cook often. Location is perfect as we walked to the Wreck Bar and Grill for lunches, and took advantage of the Red Sail next door. We highly recommend the Stingray City tour, the jet ski tours, and the paddleboarding. Snorkeling right outside the condo door was some of the best on the island! The beach is literally steps away, and we snorkeled almost daily. We were lucky to see conch, lobster, stingrays, and too many colorful fish to name! The bedrooms are perfect, as we had a king bed in one room and two twins in the other. Both full baths are great, and roomy. Closets and drawers were great for unpacking and really enjoying our stay. Ocean views from every room! We also enjoyed the screened in porch during the thunderstorm that occurred while we were there. Couch in the living room pulls out into a sleeper if you needed more sleeping space. We didn't spend much time indoors, but the kitchen, dining area, and living room had plenty of room for us. We appreciated all of the information that was left in the condo about restaurants, things to do, and history of the island. Also plenty of books on the shelves for reading on the beach. Ice machine kept up with us all week, and we took advantage of the coolers in the hall closet to bring drinks when enjoying the beach. We will definitely be back to this condo at The Retreat. Our stay could not have been more perfect!

Perfect in every way...

Just returned from our stay on Grand Cayman/Rum Point and we were very happy with our choice. The condo was spotless on arrival, the location was great (away from the busy west side of the island) and the snorkeling was excellent. It was very relaxing in every way, and the only problem was we should have booked our stay for a longer period of time...my fault! My wife and I had been to the island before (on a cruise) and had rented a car so we could check things out for a future trip, so we knew that food would be on the pricey side, which it was. We ate all of our evening meals out, and tried quite a few restaurants, eating at Tukka several times. If you get there early they have a happy hour with discounted appetizers and drinks. As far as the snorkeling goes, because of the wind coming out the WNW we waited until the end of our trip to go down the street and start at the Caman Kai Public access, which I highly recommend! We saw turtles, rays, a shark (yes, a shark!) squid, and tons of fish, both large and small. There is a man made reef on the right side of the pier about halfway out from shore that holds lots of fish, and under the pier itself there are lots of fish also (good for windy days.) The snorkeling was as good as advertised! We used the frying pan one morning to cook up a bunch of ham & eggs and when it came time to clean it up, it was almost impossible to do it as the only thing available to us was a washrag...no dobie pad or anything...which should be added to the kitchen. I would have purchased them, but it was the end of our trip, and the closest store is about 25 minutes away. We all felt very safe staying in this area, which is not the case everywhere you go...my wife and I would return in a heartbeat!

Outstanding For Family Vacation at Rum Point

We recently returned from our first trip to Grand Cayman, including five days at The Retreat #23. Rum Point is a great location for a family vacation and The Retreat #23 was outstanding for our family of five. Matt and Katrina were extremely responsive and very helpful, providing a quick response to our inquiry to confirm pricing and available dates, providing clear and detailed directions to The Retreat, sharing recommendations for restaurants, groceries, snorkeling spots, etc., and assuring that we had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. #23 is just a few steps from a beautiful beach and very good snorkeling. We saw a large stingray, a few small barracuda, lots of blue tang, and a variety of other fish - all just a short swim away from the screened-in back porch. #23 was very clean and comfortable for us, with a nice kitchen, washer/dryer (allowing us to travel light), pool floats, some snorkeling equipment and beach toys. We've stayed at several VRBO rentals over the past few years and between the location and the overall condition of the rental unit, #23 at The Retreat is easily one of the best we've experienced. The Retreat also has a nice small pool, a tennis court, and friendly staff in the office. The beach was never crowded (end of June) and there were plenty of beach chairs available. It is adjacent to a popular beach, with a beach bar, two very good restaurants, gift shop and a dive/watersports shop (Red Sail). Although the public side got a little crowded occasionally, when boat tours arrived at the dock (apparently from cruise ships in port), the crowds generally stayed on the other side of the dock. There are a number of excellent snorkeling spots on the north side of Grand Cayman, within a decent walk or short drive of The Retreat, along with starfish beach. We also did a boat trip with Red Sail to Stingray City for a truly incredible and memorable experience. In addition to the bar and restaurants at Rum Point, there are also several good restaurants a short drive away, including: Kaibo (another beachside bar/restaurant, with a live band and island bbq one evening); Kurt's Corner (excellent local place) and Over The Edge. We also ventured to the East End in search of groceries and enjoyed lunch at Mimi's (including a guest appearance by a nurse shark cruising near the dock) and great dinner at Bamboo Chopsticks. Thanks to Matt and Katrina for a great family vacation! We hope to return soon.
