We apologize for anything you may have considered as inconvenience, but once again our experience proved us right and we unfortunately had to realize once again that an experienced traveler can deal with small unexpected incidents in a much more relaxed way... The Dominican Republic is a tropical country, where on some days insects - like in this case flying ants - swarm out - unfortunately for such natural phenomena helps only turning off the lights and closing the windows for about 1 hour, as was also explained to you in detail... Also a refrigerator can break without any warning - which, as you had already mentioned, was then immediately repaired. As with many other small things, an experienced traveler also would not make such a drama out of spoiled 10.-USD food - which for the most part consisted of leftovers, which were even refunded! As you have already recognized yourself, you got a clean, fully equipped apartment in a top location for a very reasonable price. Who doesn't want to pay at least double, but appreciates prompt service, for whom "used kitchen utensils" and a "fast" ceiling ventilator are good enough, has therefore made the best choice with our apartment...

We would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused by the fact that our cleaning girl had a cold and avoided closer contact because she did not want to infect anyone - especially now in the pandemic time... If you read our description carefully, it says that towels are changed once a week (after 7 days) and you can optionally get more towels for a small fee (which you refused). We don't know anything about a rodent - but there are geckos everywhere in the DR, even inside where they also eat mosquitoes. Their remains look very similar to those of rodents - did you imagine something that wasn't actually there?
