À propos de cet hébergement

Cette maison dispose de 3 chambres, chacune joliment aménagée avec leur propre salle de bain complète (plus un demi-bain hors du hall principal à l'étage et une dans le pool house). Salon, salle à manger au rez-de-bar et coin télé. Il y a une salle de télévision à côté du hall principal (pourrait facilement être aménagée en une zone de couchage pour les enfants). Beaucoup de place pour toute la famille, deux familles ou un séjour en groupe!

Pendant l'été, profitez de la très grande piscine et des vues magnifiques sur le lac Okanagan. La cuisine extérieure facilite les réceptions et il y a toujours des boules de croquet ou de pétanque sur les pelouses inférieures après avoir suffisamment nagé! Si vous choisissez le bon moment, vous pourriez même avoir la chance de vous livrer à 3 variétés de cerises juste à côté des arbres. Kin Beach est à quelques pas de la colline, il comprend une grande aire de jeux et des zones d'ombre. Nous sommes situés à 10 minutes du centre-ville et il y a une épicerie à service complet et des restaurants à moins de 5 minutes en voiture.

La route des vins «Scenic Sip» est juste en bas de la route le long de la rive pittoresque du lac - de fabuleuses visites de vignobles et de restaurants de classe mondiale.

Family Summer Vacation

As advertised. The highlight of the property is the outdoor space and pool, where we spent majority of the time. Great location, close to the beach, golf courses and other amenities. Would recommend staying here and would book this property again.

2022 Vacation

Wonderful family vacation spent at this property. Outdoor area with the pool and the amazing view allowed us to spend most of the day outside. Inside is very well stocked with everything you need, and bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms were great. Highly recommend for a family vacation!

Wonderful

I really liked our stay, it was packed full of supplies that they said that we were welcome to. Like the food in the pantry, whatever is in the fridge, there were multiple fridges, there was a washing machine, a dryer, great bathrooms, pretty nice layout a beautiful backyard with a stunning view!

Amazing View/Pool

We stayed at the property for one week and had a blast. The highlights for us was the amazing views and back yard. We used the pool (which was heated and really nice for our little ones) daily and spent most of our time in the back yard. The house was also really well appointed and had bathrooms in each bedroom. We will be back if heading back to Vernon.

Girl Gang reunion

A group of teammates reunited to play in a soccer tourney over the May long weekend. The place was perfect for us and unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate so we could not enjoy the pool but the area is beautiful. Thank you for the hospitality and we had a great time. Jacquie

Vernon Hot Property

Fantastic was the word we used as we entered this beautiful home in Vernon with a stunning view down the hill to Okanagan lake. It was well appointed with everything you would need and more! The ambiance was inviting with rooms for relaxing, cooking, lots of food storage & THE POOL! Give this 12/10!

Fantastic

The house itself is very comfortable and well-stocked, but the jewel of the property is the outdoor space and amazing pool with a view. There were deer visible nearly every day, tons of birds to watch overhead, the perfect temperature of water in the pool and an impressive outdoor kitchen with all the bells and whistles. Very close driving distance to anything you could ever need. Highly recommend.

Girls get away

The house was perfect for a group of ladies. We loved that each bedroom had their own bathroom. The home is stocked with every kitchen item you would need. This was the best stocked home we have ever rented. This home was chosen for the pool area and it did not disappoint. The pool was heated perfectly and was the highlight of our trip. The owners had multiple floaties for us to use which was wonderful to relax on. The different outdoor sitting areas were perfect to enjoy the sun or the shade. The host was very open to communication, shared information with us and was receptive to ensure our stay was the best it could be. Would definitely book this home again.

Beautiful house with breathtaking view

This is a spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bath ½ house, located in a beautiful neighborhood that is close to everything you want to do in Vernon . The home is well appointed with linens, towels, paper products, soap, laundry detergent and a well outfitted kitchen. Actually you’ll find everything you need in this house. What we loved the most about this place is the outdoor, there are lots of sitting space, heaters so you can stay outside till very late in the night. There is big pool with amazing view of Okanagan Lake. Too bad we visited Vernon in May so the water in the pool was too cold. Alana was very helpful and tried to make our stay a great experience. We will come back for sure!

It’s All About The Pool and the View

Stayed at “The Pethick House” for a week. First of all Alana and Mike are very friendly people and made us feel welcome right from the start. The view of the lake from the amazing pool area is nothing short of spectacular. The house is exactly fully stocked and leaves you wanting for nothing. We did have a water leak issue on our last night and Alana was super apologetic. We would definitely stay here again. Greg & Kim.

Wonderful stay!

My wife and I have just returned from a 3 week holiday at Alana and Michael's property in Vernon. During our stay we were joined, at different times, by some of our children and grandchildren. Everyone had a fabulous time! The highlight of the property, is it's huge outdoor space. There is an oversized heated pool with a large shallow part for young children and a deep end for adults. Surrounding the pool you will find two large covered areas. One is an outdoor kitchen and the other a sitting area big enough for 7 people. It is equipped with lights, a ceiling fan and a fire table. The view of the lake and surrounding hills is simply breathtaking, one of the best in the Okanagan valley! The house is very well equipped and the three bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom and very comfortable beds. Alana and Michael, thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family. Amazing place to stay, I highly recommend.

If you are planning a vacation I highly recommend staying at Alana and Mike's beautiful rental. They are wonderful hosts who are more than happy to provide activity recommendations. Hanging poolside with your friends and family is a perfect way to relax and getaway.

Excellent stay in a beautiful part of Canada

This property is really set up for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding area and the views are amazing. The house is lovely and had everything three couples needed. The garden, pool area and barbecue made are stay quite special and would definitely highly recommend.

Fantastic break

This was a last minute booking for us but could not have worked out better. The pool and outdoor space is amazing and the house is comfortable and spacious. The view is breathtaking. We were fortunate with the weather and enjoyed sunny days in and around pool.

Hidden Gem!

Alana's house is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Check in was easy and Alana was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Her place is truly a hidden gem and don't get me started on the view from the backyard... wow oh wow! No complaints - everything was amazing and as pictured. 100% recommend!

We moved back to the Okanagan in 2001 after being away for almost 20 years - we came back to raise our children and be with our families. We are constantly being reminded why we came back, the skiing, golfing, biking and lifestyle are amazing.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our backyard is like an oasis - despite having neighbors around us, when we're relaxing under the pergola and enjoying happy hour we can't see another house! With the tall hedge on one side of the pool and the pool house on the other, it is so private. The pool deck is huge so there's lots of room to spread out, take a book and sit in the loungers, set up dinner for a crowd or just find some quiet space.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We are a short drive (about 10 minutes) into town yet we have everything we need in our neighborhood if we don't want to go into town but just want to grab a bite or pick something up at the grocers. The house is stocked with everything you might need and there is plenty of space for everyone to do their thing - whether it's watching some tv, playing cards on the dining room table, sitting at the downstairs bar and having a nightcap or sitting in the living room and having some great conversation. We are located closed to the 'scenic sip' wine route - take it in for some fabulous wines, restaurants and views, truly the best of the Okanagan.
