Great Family Vacation

We have a great family vacation. Love the house and the location. The house was perfect for six adults, and four children under the age of four. We will definitely be staying in the house whenever we visit Myrtle Beach in the future. Adam was very easy to work with and promptly replied to any questions.

Great family house

Great property & location. Our family of all ages enjoyed staying here. Close walk to the beach, nice breeze on the deck, kitchen had everything we needed. As mentioned in the ad the streets are narrow but it was easy enough to figure out how to get our large vehicles parked.

It's the Beach

Property was located not to far from beach, short walk and had enough bedrooms. Kitchen and living room a little tighter than I would prefer, but that is fine since we are at beach!! Owner was very responsive

Family Vacation

This was the perfect property for our family vacation with young kids. We had a lot of younger kids so the carpet stairway was a huge positive. Adam was great the whole time and very accessible. We enjoyed the location of the house to the beach entry. It was very easy to get to the entry and get on the beach. The neighbors were also great and very friendly.

Wonderful experience

Adam was fantastic and a pleasure to rent from. The details of the house were accurate and the property was very clean. The closets, rooms and bathrooms were very roomy. The kitchen was well stocked and having the linens provided was a +. We will definitely be back.

Great family reunion house

We were looking for a property for our family reunion vacation and were happy to find this property. Plenty of bedroom space although the living room space was a bit small. Kitchen had plenty of everything for cooking big meals. The beautiful beach is just a short walk away which was great for both the kids and seniors with us. Parking was a bit of a challenge as the street is narrow (one car wide) and the houses are quite close together. You can park 3 cars at the property for sure; you'll maybe get 4 cars in if 2 of them are compact. It was a great family trip and everyone had fun. Thank you for your hospitality!

Fun in the sun

The property was super nice. Very clean - a well stocked kitchen. We cooked every night and had everything we needed. The only thing we would possibly add would be a place to put food and stuff we brought for cooking. There was a pantry but it was locked. And that could be just us since we ate in every night. All in all a great time.

Excellent home and close to beach!

The home was beautiful! Fully stocked in kitchen, comfortable beds, and had great living room space and seating. Easy access to beach and areas within Ocean Lakes. Property owner was very friendly and easy to work with! Definitely one of best places we’ve stayed in during the 10+ years of coming to Ocean Lakes

Immaculate property!

We have rented several properties from Ocean Lakes and not only was this home one of the cleanest and up to date homes the process by this owner Adam was the easiest we have ever experienced! No long lists of things to-do, everything was included for the home which made our vacation really feel like a vacation! If you are looking for a home for the week you need to pick this one!

Prime location and super clean

We stayed here as an extended family for spring break and it was excellent. The house was able to accommodate 6 adults and 7 kids age 6 and under no problem! It was clean, close to the beach, and the on site laundry was awesome for our week stay. Adam did a great job communicating and was very responsive to any messages or questions I had. The only bummer was there was not a golf cart provided with the property, which other rentals in Ocean Lakes did include. But there is rental carts you can get from ocean lakes. Still a great experience and look forward to staying here again!

Halloween weekend

Adam was quick to answer or return my phone calls/texts with questions that i had. The description of the house stated was true to the pictures. We fit 2 large suv's and 1 small car under the house with 3 golf carts parked alongside the garage. The road was a little narrow but that is expected in Ocean Lakes. Needless to say our family had a great Halloween weekend!

Great Place to stay.

Property was very nice inside. Plenty of room for our whole family of 7 adults and 7 kids. Would definitely stay again. Short walk to the beach and nice comfy mattresses. Propane was empty on the grill, other than that was a perfect stay. Highly recommend.

Family Beach Retreat

This was our first time renting this property. Our family has grown in number and we needed the 5 bedrooms. The house was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equiped. The only downside was the narrow alleyway leading into the property. But, that would not keep me from renting the house again. We had a great vacation.

Family vacation 2021

I first want to start with praise for the owner/manager of the property Adam. Adam was amazing and easy to work with, constantly attentive and available. The property was immaculate and the set up of the rooms/lodging itself was exactly what was needed. My only issue would be the parking scenario and width of the streets along with inability to navigate with ease. It was impossible to pull out of the "garage" area onto the street from the back of the house (not Neptune street) due to the narrowness of the street and elevation/dropoff of the carport area. I tried once and my car scraped twice. Hopefully there can be an easy remedy for this for future visitors. My other gripe would be with Ocean Lakes itself and the process of renting golf carts for the vacation. Due to the size of the "resort/campground", and the narrow streets preventing car driving, it is 100% essential to have a golf cart to get around. Along with that there are some patrons that are up in age and unable to walk to the locations of the amenities offered ie pool, beach etc. My mother is 72 and was pretty much homebound due to us being unable to rent a golf cart till Wednesday (halfway thru the trip). Legally I would think it elder and disabled persons abuse to force folks to ONLY rent from Ocean Lakes, but then not have carts available for rent. In other words there have to be accommodations made for outside rentals in such circumstances. IF and when my family ever decides to come to Ocean Lakes again that will be our recourse. My mother lost half of her vacation and ability to see her grandbabies play and enjoy themselves due to this. Lastly I want to say that none of these issues were caused nor due to the home itself nor owner/manager Adam. Every issue that we had was taken care of immediately to the best of his ability... Thank you again Adam for a wonderful property!
