We had a wonderful mini vacation at Archies lake daze cottage. It was well stocked and clean and charming. Lots of activities to do even if it rains, like darts and pool and Pac-Man. We were outside most of the time because we were lucky to have good weather. I loved the hammock. It was a relaxing three day trip and we all enjoyed it very much. The king bed in the master bedroom was exceptionally comfortable and we slept well. I would highly recommend this place. I would love to return, maybe in the summer when we could do more on the lake.

This place was beautiful! Such a peaceful neighborhood, beautiful decor! Tons of kitchen utensils and accessories. Beds were comfortable and rooms were quite adorable! The view is honestly amazing and just breathtaking. Definitely the place to stay if you’re really wanting to unwind and relax 😊

Wonderful getaway

This place is amazing, always something to do. Great place to spend a week or long weekend. The kids loved it, never bored, and even some firsts for them. If you're looking for a quiet retreat on the lake, you couldn't find a better spot. Host even arranged return of an expensive charger I left.

Archie's Lake House - Manning/Santee, SC

This is a GREAT property! The space is awesome (well maintained with everything you need to for a great time) and you can tell the owners try very hard to anticipate what visitors may want or need. Great for adventure, shenanigans or relaxing. Beautiful views, very quiet, fairly private, well-equipped/maintained, and great communication. Do a lot or a little! ;-) Thanks!

Lake getaway

We enjoyed fishing, swimming and family time. Being right on the water was great. The only thing I would recommend is investing in another mattress for the master bedroom. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. My son kept saying he wished we lived there! So we may have to go back again.

4 day trip

This was truly our best trip yet. We go to the lake every year after school gets out to reset because we are both teachers. Archies cottage was truly perfect. It had everything we could have possibly needed. The cottage was so clean and check in was a breeze. We loved the pool table and darts…we had lots of fun hanging out in the evening playing games and chilling on the dock. During the day the fishing was great and we went swimming and floated on our raft for hours. We will be returning as soon as we can!!

Great place!!

After reading all the reviews about Archie's Lake Daze Cottage we decided to book it for our trip to SC. We were not disappointed when we arrived. Loved the view, the privacy and the piece and quiet. All the reviews were spot on! It was perfect, we have zero complaints. Even our weather the whole 4 days was beautiful. We looked forward every morning to coffee on the porch watching the amazing sunrise 🌞 Also enjoyed the kayaking and sitting by the fire each evening. The pool table and arcade game was a nice added touch. King size bed was very comfy. The cottage was super clean and nicely decorated. It was such a pleasant experience. Lake life is awesome! Maybe someday we will be back to Archie's Lake Daze Cottage.

House was great, amenities were great! Host was wonderful and quick to respond. Loved the property, dock and fire pit area. Would have been the perfect trip if fishing had been better. Even though fishing was not great still enjoyed the trip!

We had a great relaxing time! Lots of fishing swimming, games and grilling! Nice little place, with all things you'll need to have fun and cook a good meal! We caught some monster fish off the dock at night!

Amazing little lake house

Boys Fishing Trip

The men of the family had a blast at this cottage! They spent the days kayaking and laying in the hammock and spent the nights making smores and playing pool! They even caught a few fish, in March!

We are a retired military family, serving in the Air Force for 26 years. We recently moved to Destin Florida and enjoy the area very much. We have 2 older sons, our oldest son lives in San Antonio TX, working in Cyber Security. Our youngest son lives in New York and works for a Tech company. We enjoy spending time with family and friends, hiking, and traveling. We love visiting the lake house as often as we can and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Even though this property was falling apart when we purchased it, we fell in love with it. We renovated everything from the foundation, walls, and ceilings. You can not beat the view, it's relaxing and beautiful in all seasons.

This cottage has a beautiful lake view. If your looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation this is the place for you. For your inside entertainment, we provide a pool table, dart board, arcade machine with 60 classic games, board games, and Smart TVs. Outside we provide a hammock, water toys, outside games, 2 kayaks, and a paddle boat. Kayaks and paddle boat are to be used at your own risk.
