House was extremely clean, well decorated, well supplied and in a great neighborhood and convenient location. The owners have thought of everything you might need for a beach vacation. The pool, dock, etc are amazing. We loved our stay and when our travels take us to the area again, our first check for a place to stay will be here.

Wonderful stay

Clean house with a great layout. Enjoyed the water toys and fishing from the dock. Really nice to have a bridge in the garage as we stayed over Easter. Kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to cook. Love this neighborhood - really friendly neighbors.

Perfect Location

House was very well stocked. Very roomy for my family of 8. Great location. From fishing poles to beach chairs to kayaks, everything you needed was supplied. One thing that we were disappointed with, was the sprinklers coming on at 8 pm while we were enjoying the pool and lanai and the odor from sprinklers were a strong rotten egg smell. Which forced us all inside. Possibly change the timer to a later time for the sprinklers. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Bonita Springs stay

This house was perfect for week vacation with our 3 kids & their spouses. Each couple had their own bedroom with either a king or queen bed. Two rooms were a master suite with their own bathroom, and the other two rooms shared a bathroom located next to their rooms. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed including the necessities for grilling on the gas grill outside. The pool on the lanai was perfect to cool off in the evenings. We truly appreciated all the provisions for the beach which included plenty of beach towels, beach chair, beach mats, a beach umbrella, and other items. We don’t have young children, but there looked to be plenty of beach essentials/toys for younger children. The cooler avails or is very small, but we made it work with the cooler bag available as well. This house is centrally located near grocery stores, beaches, restaurants, shopping and Naples. We were even able to workout several times during the week at a sister gym to where we all belong. Overall, our family agreed that this was the best house we have stayed in as a family. I would highly recommend this house, and we would definitely love to stay here again.

Great Family Get Away

Thank you to Dana and Jeff for hosting our family. What a great vacation for all of our family members. The home was very clean and spacious. Four bedrooms, all separated from each other for privacy. The kitchen and living room area was very nice and updated. The pool area and lanai absolutely amazing. We had morning coffee relaxing seeing the pool and canal everyday. This is a great home for any family. Bonita Springs / Naples area has so many restaurants to experience. So many things to do. Golfing, the beach, boat rides, kayaking, fishing, airboat, hiking, walking, cycling and of course relaxing. This home made us feel relaxed, and was a home away from home. We will definitely come back. Thank You.

Best Home Yet! Amazing Everything!

I’ve rented a lot of homes over the years and I have to say, this was the best one ever. Trust me, this is the place to stay if ever in this area. The owner had perfect communication during the whole process, the home had amazing amenities in not just the kitchen, but the bathrooms, laundry and recreational including bikes, kayaks, pool toys etc. The bed mattresses were very comfortable and the showers were amazing. The location of this house was perfect for our group, quiet neighborhood, great grocery store within minutes, we didn’t drive more than 45 mins each direction to experience airboats, alligators, beaches, restaurants and shopping. Our experience was wonderful and we’d stay here again 100%

Perfect!

My family had a great stay at this house in Bonita. The house is on a nice quiet street and perfectly located- you really have everything you need right there or within a short drive. The house was beautiful and well-maintained. I was most impressed with all the little “extras”
 all the beach and pool supplies you need, shampoo/body wash in the showers, blow dryers for each bathroom, a device charging station in the kitchen for our phones/tablets, kids toys/games, throw blankets to get cozy on the couch and many more kitchen items we didn’t need to buy. The pool was wonderful and the view of the canal was spectacular. My husband and I, along with our 3 young kids, really enjoyed every minute and felt so much at home there. Dana was a great host. We typically don’t need anything from our hosts when we rent, and Dana was very respectful of letting us have our time. When we had flight issues and needed to extend our stay another day, Dana was quick to respond and was so understanding! Luckily the house was available another night and Dana was gracious enough to reschedule her cleaners so we can remain in the house an additional day. We are still so grateful for Dana being so accommodating! I would not hesitate to rent again from Dana. Anyone considering this home should feel confident it’s a great choice :)

Relaxing oasis

My friends and I rented this lovely home for a nice staycation in FL. The property was just as nice as listed and pictured. One of the things we appreciated the most was that it truly was fully stocked from the kitchen, to games, to towels and beach chairs and umbrellas. Our host was incredibly responsive to any questions or requests our group had. I was able to text with her throughout our entire stay for anything we needed. The only slight negative about our trip (which has nothing to do with our host or the property) was the closest beaches in Bonita Springs. We went one day and it really is still affected from last years hurricane. I would suggest just taking the drive down to Naples and go to Lowdermilk Park which was in way better conditions. We are so happy after our stay.

A covid-delayed golf vacation to the Bonita Springs/ Naples area which has been well known to me for 30+ years and over that period a regular visitor. The property was chosen due to its close proximity to everything, and provided a convenient base for the trip with space for everyone.

MUST-STAY!

My wife and three kids (15, 14, 7) rented this property over the new year holiday, 2022/2023. We cannot say enough about the property, but more importantly, the owners. We reserved the property in advance of Hurricane Ian's arrival in Bontia Springs on/about 9/29/22. The owners immediately reached out to us with photographs of the property after the storm, and assurances that the property would be ready for our vacation on 12/30/22. The owners kept us informed as to their progress during those months, and delivered as promised, down to every last detail. You would never have known the area suffered any storm judging by the condition of this home, exterior included. We regularly visit the area, and have stayed in a number of other comparable properties. We could not have been happier with the home itself, the location, and the amenities (pool, lanai, dock, etc.). In fact, this was quite surely the best experience we have ever had with any VRBO owner/property anywhere in the world. The house is wonderful, and located just outside downtown Bonita Springs, in lovely neighborhood on a channel that is fed by the Imperial River. It is equipped with everything that you could imagine needing in terms of appliances, utensils, supplies, outdoor grill, kayaks, paddle board, bikes, beach equipment, etc. It is a "brand new home," just a short drive, bike ride, or paddle from all that Bonita Springs has to offer. We will most definitely try to book with these owners again for our next visit to one of our favorite places in Florida.

Beautiful Bonita Springs, Florida

Very nice property right on the canal, in close proximity to nice restaurants and beaches. The pool is small but still very enjoyable. It has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths... very nice! Unfortunately we had problems with the dishwasher since we got there on a Friday, we hand washed and dryed the dishes all 4 days. We left on a Tuesday and the repairman, according to the owner, was not available to go to the house until Wednesday.

Lovely stay, lovely house, lovely location.

This is a really nice house in a great location right on one of the canals on the Imperial River. All the best beaches are within easy driving distance and there is a Fresh Market and Publix literally walking distance from the house. In addition there are numerous restaurants close by. Despite being very convenient for the US41, the house is really quiet and peaceful. The river is superb for kayaking and watching wildlife. The house itself is very comfortable, clean and modern and we had no issues at all during our stay. The owner Dana was very easy to communicate with - and very helpful with us having to reschedule our trip a couple of times due to the pandemic. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing holiday. The house was superb - spotlessly clean, well furnished and very comfortable. Pool was wonderfully warm and we spotted having the deck and spotting the dolphins in the canal. Great location close to amenities. Owner was easy to deal with and quick to respond to questions. Happy Place

The house is very comfortable, the location is excellent, the lanai and heated pool and the dock just add to a wonderful experience. We got to know some neighbors ( John across the canal and across the street), and overall just felt so at home. Dana and Jeff are wonderful hosts and helped with information and suggestions. We have already booked for 2023, and can’t wait!

Wonderful Home!

We were a group of 3 couples and we all loved the beautiful home, and location was great! We had everything we could have needed. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to get out and use the kayaks because we were so busy, we just needed a few extra days. 😉 We did enjoy the pool and sitting out there in the evening playing games. Dana was wonderful in keeping us informed about anything we needed to know or answering any questions. We would love to come back again someday.

We love to travel and have lived all over the world. When we travel, we love to feel at home and Our Happy Place is a beautiful home. Family is an important part of our lives and we are making wonderful memories in this beautiful home. We hope you will do the same.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We have been traveling to Bonita Springs, FL for many years and we wanted to buy a property in this particular neighborhood. It is safe and very close to everything (the beach, restaurants, shops, malls). Our top requirements were to be on the water, have a private swimming pool and we wanted to be very close to the beach. Whenever we're at Our Happy Place, we always watch the sunset from the beach - it is the highlight of the day!! To us, this is one of the best places in the world that we've traveled and/or lived.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

When you drive into our neighborhood, you will see beautiful palm trees down the center of the street and beautifully maintained homes. Everyone is very friendly and the neighborhood is quiet and safe.
