Les sons d'un ruisseau de montagne se précipitera vous saluer lorsque vous commencez vos vacances à Bear Paw Falls. Cette confortable maison de 2 chambres est isolée, mais à quelques minutes du centre de Maggie Valley. Bear Paw Falls est l'endroit idéal pour une entreprise familiale vraiment délicieuse mais assez confortable pour un get-a-way calme. Profitez de la paix et de la tranquillité de l'air frais de la montagne pendant que vos steaks cuisinent sur le gril. Faites tremper vos pieds dans le ruisseau bavard après une longue journée de randonnée et de tourisme. Lors des soirées plus froides, vous pourrez vous détendre devant un feu de cheminée tout en sirotant du coco. Prenez un bon livre et profitez de la nature dans la balançoire, ou prenez un jeu de société et asseyez-vous sur la table de pique-nique et profiter du temps en famille.

Il y a tellement de choses à faire autour de cette cabine toute l'année.

À 30 minutes: Asheville et le Biltmore Estates & Winery, plusieurs microbrasseries locales, Cherokee, le casino Harrah`s, le parc national Smoky Mountain, la forêt nationale de Pisgah, plusieurs terrains de golf, Bryson City (domicile du Smoky Mountain Railway et "Polar Express" pendant les vacances de Noël), dans le comté de Transylvanie (qui abrite la plupart des cascades aux États-Unis) et plus de 100 antiquaires.

À 45 minutes: De plus, à moins de 45 minutes de Hendersonville où vous pourrez visiter la brasserie Sierra Nevada (avec d’énormes tap Tap Room), l’extraction de pierres précieuses, le rafting en eau vive, la tyrolienne et bien plus encore.

1 heure de route: Un peu moins d'1 heure à Gatlinburg, TN et Pigeon Forge (la maison de Dollywood).

Quiet, secluded but still close to town...

Property is well equipped, very clean, comfy beds and right on a large creek. Enjoyed my stay.

Great property

We liked the house and the stream topped it off. We love Maggie Valley as it is adjacent to Cherokee, Gatlinburg and surrounding areas.

Great stay

This property was everything we had hoped it would be. Location was just outside of the town and very quiet. Property was easily accessible and provided everything we needed for a great stay. Though the property doesn't have AC, we were able to open the windows at night for some of that cool mountain air. The creek running in front of the house provided great ambient noise to sleep to and was great to sit and watch.

Peaceful getaway

Bear Paw Falls is a beautiful home in a very quiet and secluded area even though you are surrounded by other houses you will never know it. The house is well equipped for anything you might need or want to do while staying there. The view and sound of the creek from the whole house is to die for I will definitely be renting it again.

Great!!!

We had a great time in maggie valley. Weather was awesome and the creek in the back yard was beautiful and COLD. the only issue we ran into was the hot water heater wasn't big enough to accommodate 7 of us taking showers/baths. Overall the stay was awesome and plan on staying here again in the future.

Not sure you can handle the problems we encountered. First morning I got up to fix breakfast cupboards were full of mouse turds and spent 2 and 1/2 hours cleaning cupboards. They send cleaning crew and they vacuumed the closets that had mouse crap on floor. Also that day found sticky pad under chair with what appeared to be Decon on it. I had my two seven year old twins with us and felt they knew their would be kids in house so not appropriate. Next morning ran the boys a bath and water was brown when I check softener their was 50 pounds bag of salt but softener was empty. I’m not lifting 50 pounds of salt and do not know how to cycle the softener. They sent a tech but boys did not get a bath that morning. Next day boys were playing in main room with soft rubber ball it went behind couch and when there dad moved couch we found six dead mice decomposing on sticky pad. Realtor who manages property blamed it on cleaning crew and homeowner but they manage property so I felt like it was on them. They did comp two night and cleaning fee, but really was crummy vacation. We have been coming to area since my daughter was 8 and she is now 44. We HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM until this trip. Lovely a area and beautiful setting but felt like it was one problem after another, Not sure why you think this is not accurate would you like me to send you the pictures of mouse droppings or the six dead mice on sticky pad.

Great location, but

This house has been occupied by a smoker. It smelled like it had been smoked in for years, despite the many air fresheners/perfumes around the house. There were ashtrays in the bathroom cabinet drawers. The location was fantastic, as was the creek in the back. What you can't see from the pics is that you're 15 feet down the hill from the road. It wasn't busy, so that didn't really matter. The cooking furnishings were bare minimum relative to the other vrbos we've rented in the past. If you need anything beside salt and pepper, bring it. Check in and out was less than convenient. You have to drive 5 miles past the property, through the congested main part of Maggie Valley, to get the keys. And you have to return them to the same location. You also have to haul off your own garbage. Fwiw, the actual price after fees was $100 more per night than the advertised rate. We wanted to love this place; the actual cabin was wonderful. But the cigarette smoke was a deal-breaker, and the inconvenience of check in/out didn't help. I wish they'd have noted that on the listing. We would have found something else.

We appreciated receiving your comments regarding your recent visit to Bear Paw Falls. Thank you for sharing your disappointment with what you felt was an inaccurate depiction of the property and that it did not reach your level of expectation for other properties you have visited. This is the first complaint we have had of this nature for this home not only regarding its proximity to the road but for the smoke smell as well. We continually get good reviews for this property, not only in location and ease of access but for its beauty and natural setting. We know from time to time there is a damp or wood smoke smell in the home because of its creek side location and wood-burning fireplace. As our houses stay closed up when not rented, we try to keep them as fresh as possible between guests by using air freshener. In regards to access to the property and trash disposal, the information on trash disposal was included first in your signed Vacation Rental Agreement (page 4, section: cleaning & trash) and also included in the check-out procedures page located in your check-in package. The fee charged for trash left in the home is charged to us by an outside vendor that contracts with Maggie Mountain Vacations for trash removal from homes as needed. As to access, with the majority of our homes located around or after passing our property management office, we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced in picking up your check-in package and keys. Information to that regard was also in your emailed check in information and messaged to you through Vrbo. We are sorry you felt you were misinformed by what was provided with your reservation. Again, thank you for your comments and we hope we will be able to earn your business on some future visit.

Awesome location. Kids Loved the creek and we had 4 elk come right up in the yard while we where outside playing with the kids.

Snow Blast

It was beautiful and serine . The River was our favorite, But the cabin was very roomy and supplied. Will be back in the spring or early summer. Thanks Again PS the dive in the ice and snow was a breeze even for me inexperienced in this.

Exceptional cabin, very clean and cozy. We enjoyed our time there and will definitely be going back. Even saw elk in the drive way.
