Bienvenue à The Double Tide Beach House situé sur la pointe de Colonial Beach, en Virginie, où la plage est à portée de main et la vue vous emmène rapidement à la plage. Notre Beach House vous propose 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain complètes, une cuisine complète et une terrasse spacieuse pour divertir toute la famille. Nous sommes situés sur un terrain d'angle et situés à distance de marche de la plage, du parc et de la rampe de mise à l'eau. Nous sommes à quelques minutes des attractions de la plage principale, des restaurants à quai, de la marina, des marées hautes, de Denson et du bateau fluvial. Profitez du lever du soleil depuis la zone du pont avant, qui est spacieuse pour toute la famille, le pont offre une aire de jeux pour les enfants et des meubles de pont avec des zones de parasols.
Nous avons inclus des jouets d'extérieur pour les enfants afin d'inclure un espace extérieur couvert avec des meubles et une aire de cuisson au gaz propane.

Weekend beach stay

We enjoyed our stay. It was close to the beach. The area was nice. The neighborhood was friendly. We enjoyed morning walks, shopping the beach and night life.

Colonial Beach Bike Weekend

This is our second year in this home and we absolutely love it!! The location is perfect, lots of parking, huge front porch! We will continue to come back! There is a stuffed sloth at the house we’ve named him Steve he adds such character to the house and always has a smile on his face!

Great rental!

Tons of space and really nice comfortable beds and comfortable living area. Location is great! Loved the deck and being able to sit outside and enjoy the weather and neighborhood. Friends really enjoyed the space and felt really comfortable there. Thank you for such a great stay!

Great House!

This home was very comfortable and clean. They had everything you could possibly need from silverware to penne grill. All the beds were very comfortable and set up nicely to enjoy the family. There were lots of games and fun things to do for the children. We certainly enjoyed the big deck and had many meals out on it. Located close to beach and tiki bar was a plus. The town is charming and all the people we met were very friendly. Definitely will be stay at this home again!

The stay was great. Small minor issues mosquitoes coming in the window of the bathroom,and under the screen door in the livingroom.shrubs needs trimming in the front of the house covering the sidewalk.

This is our first trip to Colonial Beach. Great location, clean and comfortable.Storms on Sunday messed with the TV. Couldn’t get connected with Wi-Fi but lots of great games. It was a great weekend to unplug

The property is in very nice location. The over stay was very nice. The bathroom commodes needs updating. They to close to the floor making it difficult to stand. The outside furniture was dirty as well as the deck.

Recommended property

The location of this property was great. While not on the water, as the listing states you can certainly see the river from the front deck. It’s a 10 minute walk along a semi-busy road to get to one of the beaches in South Colonial Beach. The beach itself is fine. Decent space, small waves, sandy and rocky shoreline. For whatever reason this time there were a lot of jellyfish in the water so that prohibited the kids from going in much unfortunately. As for the property itself, it’s dated but very spacious. Real solid spot for families as there are three bedrooms, 3 queen beds, and a bunk bed set. Lots of toys, books, and beach toys for the kids as well. The kitchen has all you can ask for in terms of cutlery, plates, etc. Dishes need to be washed by hand but no big deal. Showers have good pressure, beds are comfortable, and again there is good space inside for families to stretch their legs. The only negatives I’d list were the toilet were low to the ground so a tad uncomfortable (what can ya do?), had some bugs in and around one window in the bathroom, and some hedges and plants could use a trim as they are encroaching on the desk. No dealbreakers at all though!

Our Stay At Colonial

We absolutely love Colonial Beach and has become our family vacation spot for several years now. This year we decided to rent this rental. It's big enough for a big family with kids and close to the beach on the far side. There were a few negatives like definitely needs TLC and updates to applicances. We had issues with cleaniness like countertops, dishes, floors, etc. The rental looked like it wasn't cleaned in a while or was massively done poorly. We had the best chance to meeting the actual owner and they were great, friendly and helpful. Fixed our issues right away. VRBO also got in touch with us and resolved the issues as well. We were very grateful. Overall a good place to rent for a vacation.

Our stay at double tide!!

House had everything we needed for our stay and was in great location! Cleanliness was not up to par for my standards. I had to reclean toilets and bath tubs and clean kitchen counters due to crumbs left behind. Vacuum that is available for use was full of animal hair and smelled. I cleaned it out and re-vacuumed home and had to empty container twice while vacuuming. Overall great experience but think manager of property should be checking in more with whom ever cleans for them. I disinfected all tubs and toilets as well as washed all bath mats and rugs before we left. Also washed and remade all beds.

Great view & location

This rental had everything you need & more. We didn’t have children with us but it’s was well stocked for children. Lots of parking which is rare in colonial beach. Terrific location with water view. Friendly neighbors. Best stocked kitchen I’ve ever rented. Definitely will rent again

Excellent Location

In a few words, the stay at Cindy's home was the most pleasant, during our stay with the family in her beautiful and lovely home, very organized, very clean, it was an extraordinary week we had, very close to the Potomac River , where we enjoy its beach and even with its beach toys and accessories, we definitely recommend it and we would rent such a pleasant place again.

Fun beach weekend

Enjoyed our stay at this property very much! Plenty of room for the 5 of us, very comfortable home, had fun playing the board games that were provided! The wrap around porch was a great place to spend time. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome weekend at CB

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at this home! We participated in the Colonial Beach triathlon and the location was perfect for getting to the race site, for relaxing on the beach & for walking to restaurants! We highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

Great location and accomodations

We were very pleased with the location and we had access to Beach toys for our granddaughter and beach chairs. There was an issue with the HVAC unit but we were given other accommodations. The owner was quick to respond to our needs. We would certainly rent this property again.
