Making New Memories se trouve sur la route 180 en direction du Fort et de Tacky Jacks. Autrefois considĂ©rĂ© comme un camp de pĂȘche et maintenant un petit morceau de luxe sur l'Ăźle de la pĂ©ninsule, beaucoup sont venus Ă  la connaissance et Ă  l'amour.

Notre chalet de plage est une maison de 3 chambres / 2 salles de bain assis sur un trÚs privé 1/2 acre de terrain. Juste une rue de l'océan. Détendez-vous sur le perron, sentez la brise constante et profitez de votre vue sur Mobile Bay. Détendez-vous sur le pont arriÚre des chambres King Master et Queen et profitez de la beauté du golfe du Mexique.

Nous avons acheté ce petit bijou en mars 2018 et réaménagé la propriété en avril et mai 2018. Il offre une combinaison salon / salle à manger ouverte et aérée. Tous les nouveaux appareils et accessoires.

Notre maison est prise en charge par une Ă©quipe dĂ©diĂ©e de personnes locales qui s’occuperont de vous comme si vous Ă©tiez une famille.

Great Stay

The house was very nice, loved the location and the pool. Rent the golf cart, it will make your beach trips effortless. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked well, everything was very clean!

Summer Getaway

We took our first trip to gulf shores from Milwaukee and we loved it. The house was great, the kids loved the pool and it was a perfect distance to the beach.

My family had a great time in Alabama. The house was beautiful and very well equipped. Spent a lot of time at the beach, the fort or just exploring the area. Will definitively make this a yearly retreat for us!!

Fall vacation

Wonderful stay at Fort Morgan. The house was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the views of the bay and Gulf. It was a short walk to the beach and very quiet and relaxing. We would definitely book this home again.

Beautiful Beach

This property is just as pictured. Very clean, private location, and just a short walk to the beautiful, uncrowded beach. The pool would be great for kids in warmer months.

Peace and Quiet

Since we weren't directly on the beach, having the private pool was great. The house was beautiful, plenty of towels and blankets. We loved the balconies and the privacy. The house had just about everything you'd need in a great vacation stay!

Great Beach House

We loved the location! A short walk to the beach, easy drive into Gulf Shores (if you wanted) but we liked the "non-touristy" area that this house was in. Less than 2 miles to put in kayaks on the Bay side, Kiva Dunes golf course was only 2 miles away - although I thought Peninsula golf course was much better and that is only 6-7 miles. The property owners were great with communication, everything was as expected.

Wonderful Getaway

The house was absolutely adorable, your typical beach house. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need. We loved the bed linens!! Thank you for a fabulous home-away-from-home. I loved the solitude of coming in January and having the beach to ourselves. We definitely want to plan a return trip. My grandkids visited and loved there was a sandy area with shells under the house to play in. Thanks again for a great vacation.

Beautiful Home!

My family stayed for a week and the house was beautiful! We had a great time! The King size bed was so comfy! My daughter and niece loved the bunk room. We did have a little problem with ants in the kitchen but Holly did what she could to fix it as soon as possible! Owners are extremely nice and easy to work with. Will recommend this home to friends!

Perfect for our family

This property was as described. The pool was an excellent bonus!!!!! Plenty of furniture outside and inside. We were comfortable and had so much fun. We had everything we needed for our vacation. It was too far for us to walk to the beach but we were able to drive and park on side street to access beach without any issues. Would definitely recommend this place for your Gulf shores vacay!

Wonderful stay

My husband, kids (ages 5 and 3), and I had a great stay at this home! It was very clean, and everything was in good shape. We had a tiny maintenance issue, and the owner and maintenance gentleman were both very prompt and kind in getting it resolved. The home was incredibly well stocked! The pool is small, but we loved it. The kids were in it every day. The home is in a really quiet neighborhood, and still only a 5 minute walk to the beach. We would definitely stay again!

Had a great stay!!

This was a cute beach house that was very clean. Holly was wonderful. We had a few issues when we arrived and she was very responsive! We brought our Boston terrier and the yard was great for her just watch out for the spurs that get in their paws! We were 4 adults and two kids. The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking as far as pans but bring extra paper towels, toilet paper, salt and pepper! The pool was very nice but would definitely recommend heating in the fall. The pool room was well stocked with several different floats. The golf cart is a must! If you are on the fence on that, just go for it, you will not regret it! It’s not a terrible walk to the beach but with stuff and kids it will be less stressful!! Tacky Jacks is extremely close and a fun place to eat, we enjoyed it! Also, I recommend doing a ferry ride to Dauphin Island and eating at Pirates Cove. The aquarium there is fun too! The ferry is a neat experience!

Great Gulf Getaway During COVID

The house was great. Fort Morgan was quite a distance from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores and that’s what we wanted! Quiet. House was comfortable and Holly was quick to answer questions. Pool was perfect. Rented a golf cart from Island Rentals. It’s a MUST. The walking path to the beach was a little too long for my liking and the mosquitos and cockle burs were thick. Not a lot of food options close by like in the city but The Sassy Bass has SUPERB Carry out food and it was close! Had a very nice time. Thank you!

Perfect Little Beach House

This was absolutely the perfect beach house for me and my husband and 2 boys!! We loved everything about it and definitely plan on coming back!! The house was more than enough for us and my boys loved their rooms with TV's in them. We enjoyed the beach and the pool every single day we were there!! The golf cart made it perfect for our little cruises to the beach and around the neighborhood! Holly was the best and worked with us every minute considering Tropical storm Barry was approaching on our week to come down!! She was awesome in every way and made our stay so welcoming! We have stayed at alot of BIG beach houses with family....Destin, South Padre, Miramar, Fort Walton....and this was by far the funnest most relaxing vacay we have had and we will be back for sure!!! Thank you Holly so much for everything and look forward to staying at your cozy beach house again!!

Fantastic Host

Overall, our stay was good. However, the pictures were somewhat misleading. It appears there is a direct path to the beach from the back of the house, but this isn't the case. You actually have to walk along the side of a busy road to the next street to reach the beach. With a one-year-old baby in tow, this information would have been very helpful beforehand. Renting the golf cart was a good decision, but it was still nerve-wracking with cars speeding by at 50+ mph. There were also a few minor issues likely overlooked by the housekeepers: no extra trash bags, no dishwashing detergent, and not enough toilet paper to last a full day. On a positive note, the host was fantastic. Communication was excellent, and she was always responsive and helpful. She was also more than happy to let us check in early when we informed her we arrived sooner than planned. Despite these minor inconveniences, it was a good stay, and we would stay again.

Peaceful Get-a-way

This home was just as described in the listing. The home was very clean. We enjoyed the location. Easy walk to beach. I would recommend the golf cart though. The drive way is on the main road and although safe to walk, the golf cart would have been a nice option. It was off season, so we drove our car over to the beach. Views to the beach and bay are obstructed but you can see the water on both sides. The pool was very clean and a peaceful place to hang out. It was too cold while we were there to enjoy swimming. As with any beach property, you have to watch your pets paws for those spurs. However this property had a nice yard that we could walk our dogs and didn’t have any issues. It’s just something to always be aware of when at the beach. The neighbors were spaced far enough apart that it felt much more private than other homes. Having a decent size yard for the dogs as well as being far enough back off the street also made this property a favorite. Ps. I was so skeptical when I saw this home had all 5 stars when I booked, but was pleased that it was accurate.

Wonderful Stay!

Loved this beach house! It had nice views. We enjoyed the decks and the pool. As a con, you do have to go on the main road for a little to get to the beach as other reviewers mention.

2 couples have come together to form MNM Properties LLC. Pat and Bonnie Murphy who already own and rent two homes in the Surf Side Shores Subdivision since 2004 decided in 2017 it was time to invest in another piece of property but wanted to find investors that would love the area just as they do. They pitched this idea to Ben and Holly Millman and together they bought the "Fish Camp" in March 2018.

We all love of the sun, sand, and surf they have remodeled the camp into a unique beach cottage escape. They have tried to think of everything so you don't have to bring anything but your suites and towels while on vacation at Making New Memories

The home is cared for by local individuals in the area. There is a local Property Manager and Maintenance Manager that oversee the property for MNM. This group is here to make sure you have a wonderful experience while at Making New Memories and we are hoping you will do just that - make memories that will last a life time and will continually call you back to our little piece of heaven on earth
