Totally phenomenal!!

Great place for a quiet getaway. Very clean and homey. Beautiful view!! Hot tub, sauna, and fire ring were awesome to have access to.

They think of everything!

My family/friends surprised me with a weekend at The Cottage at Maple Pond and it was great! From snacks to extra linens and the fully stocked game room, we wanted for nothing!

Hands down the best weekend rental I’ve ever had!

I have been fortunate to stay in several rental vacation homes in my life, and I can confidently say this is the best one I’ve ever stayed in. I am blown away by all of the convenient details that were provided; from extra toothbrushes all the way to tiny “no monsters allowed” signs under the beds. There aren’t enough words in the world to describe how thankful I am for my stay this weekend.

Quiet, relaxing, so fun!

We booked the Cottage and Cabin for a ladies’ getaway. The location is easy to access from the highway, but far enough away we had little to almost no traffic on the road this is off. The houses were so clean and such nice amenities, we were all impressed! Many of us (11) total have stayed at rentals for past vacations, and this was by far the best!! Rose is amazing, with emails and text messages leading up to, and even during our weekend! The cottage and cabin were both adult or family-friendly. The memories we made will have us laughing and sharing our newly created inside jokes for years to come!

The best retreat ever! Great for large families or small groups!

So much attention to detail! The house is in a lovely setting surrounded by a lovely pond. Beautiful house with nice landscaping and amenities. Hot tub, sauna, kayaks, fire ring and outdoor seating. Inside is well equipped with tasteful furnishings and comfortable beds. Game room in the basement has a gaming system, arcade style games, basketball, ski ball, ping pong and more! So much attention to detail! Lovely kitchen and coffee bar all well stocked. Nice additions for kids available as well. I've stayed at many rentals and this one was the best equipped and planned with no detail left out!

Amazing and relaxing weekend away!

This was by far the best Air B&B we have been too! Rose thought of everything, literally! The house is beautifully decorates, clean and the amenities are amazing! Our kids were never bored, there was plenty to do for adults as well and it was so quiet and peaceful! We can't wait to go back again!

Comforts of home, away from home

We have stayed at The Cottage at Maple Pond with our group of 5 families for 3 years. It never disappoints. Rose pays such great attention to detail and we always have everything we need. This was our first year staying in the winter. While we were sad to not be able to make use of the pond, we enjoyed sled riding next to historic Zoar. Each visit has additional improvements made to the already lovely home/smaller guest cabin. We will be back next year!

This is an ideal place for a family gathering or a reunion. We had a wedding at the nearby Magnolia Spring Farms. The property has everything you need and more. It's beautifully decorated and has high-quality finishes and decorations. We were there in early fall, a couple of weeks from the leaves changing, and it was nice. This place is great for year-round stays. Would definitely stay there again and recommend the host. Highly communicative and fulfilled everything as promised.

Spectacular!!

Can't say anything except spectacular - the little touches that were just extras (nothing the owner needed to do but did to make us even more welcome) went a long ways. This is a must stay ad we will be back for sure.

Our Family Trip

The Cottage was very comfortable there was more than enough room for my family of 20, the kitchen was well stocked, Cottage was very clean well equipped with something for everyone to do.

We had a great experience and would definitely return. Our kids had a great time fishing in the pond and riding in the canoe. Everything provided by the owners was so helpful and thoughtful. Absolutely outstanding!

From the house to the property to the host, everything was excellent. Rose has put in so many different little touches that makes your stay at her property absolutely unforgettable, it is difficult to mention them all. The house was very clean, extremely well appointed and probably the best vacation rental property we've stayed in. If you are hesitating booking this property, stop hesitating and book. You won't regret it!

The Most Thoughtful Family-Friendly Rental

We stayed here with five kids under three and had the best time ever. The house is filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay so comfortable. The kitchen was incredible, with a full knife set, a fully stocked spice cabinet, and every cooking utensil and tool we could possibly need. Most rentals barely have the basics, so this was such a gift. The owner went above and beyond and left us cookies, s’mores supplies, and so many toys and games for the kids. She even had pack n plays, high chairs, and a baby bath waiting for us. Traveling with little ones can be chaotic, but she made it feel easy. We loved the sauna and hot tub, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. The extra toiletries were such a nice touch too. We’ve stayed in a lot of places, and this one truly stands out. We would come back in a heartbeat.
