Great accommodations, clean, comfortable, and spacious. Location is very convenient to the historical part of Saint Augustine. Communication with the owner was excellent! Would definitely stay here again.
We are repeat visitors to this cottage. Very well equipped, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood and a scenic walk to downtown or around the island. Host very helpful and welcoming. We hope to return.
The house was spacious, comfortable and well kept. The property was beautifully landscaped in a quiet relaxing and peaceful neighborhood. The host was extremely helpful and welcoming. His suggestions were well appreciated.I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again
We loved staying on Anastasia Island in this cottage. It was just right and very comfortable. Very clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen was super nice. Loved the decor. The owner was great with communication. The yard was absolutely perfect for our dogs to run in. It was lovely sitting outside in the back yard and watching them. The covered back porch was a nice plus. It was very quiet and peaceful and close to everything we wanted to do.
My 86-year old mom and I stayed at this nicely appointed home in February 2025. The neighborhood was quiet and very walkable. There are 2-3 steps at each entrance to get into the home. I enjoyed the screened in sunroom. The furniture in the living area was comfortable as were the beds. There were games and puzzles in one of the closets of which we took advantage. I was looking forward to riding a bicycle but the weather was not warm enough. Communication with the home owner, Steve, was easy and he replied in a timely fashion. We would stay here again.
We usually rent this beautiful little house once or twice a year to come down and enjoy beautiful Saint Augustine. The house is perfect for just the two of us or when we have family come down with us as well. The house looks exactly as described in the photos! It is comfortable, really cute with an awesome backyard, and you will be thrilled that you booked this as your homebase for exploring historic downtown Saint Augustine, or the beautiful beaches. We cannot recommend this property!
We traveled to St. Augustine for the first time for a friends wedding and decided to make a week of it! The house was exactly as expected and the location was perfect to downtown, Vilano Beach and St. Augustine Beach. Couldn't have hoped for anything better!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this location. It was in a quiet neighborhood, perfect sized house with great amenities! We loved the kitchen, the garage (loved playing darts), and riding the bicycles. We rode our bikes downtown and to the amphitheater! The beaches were close and plenty of food options nearby as well. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The host was very kind and a great communicator.
This house has a lot of charm, convenient to downtown St Augustine, great yard, pet friendly. Communication with owner was very professional. We recommend this home, it was perfect for us.
Very pleased with our stay. Home was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Host was fantastic to work with. Enjoyable walks around the neighborhood with our dogs each day and then an easy mile across the bridge into town. Nearby local restaurants and the light house museum. Would recommend if you want to see the local sights but not be in the hectic downtown area.
This house in located in the more relaxing, less touristy part of St Augustine. Beautiful house, yard and neighborhood. We enjoyed the area restaurants and attractions without having to fight crowds. Great communication with owner. Highly recommend this property.
Steve's house is home away from home and equipped with everything you may need. The best part was to be among locals who are so kind and knowledgeable. Only a ten min. walk to the Bridge of Lions and all St. Augustine has to offer. We and our teens loved this house.
What a wonderful place to stay! Great location in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, but still close to everything the area has to offer. Excellent communication with host. Very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. Fun sunroom, fenced backyard, and delightful retro decor. Every amenity plus thoughtful extras such as large coffee mugs and lots of hangers. Highly recommend!
This property is excellent! The house is adorable and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay in St. Augustine. Walking distance to Historic downtown if you donât mind walking over the Bridge of Lions. The house is well furnished and has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. Itâs perfect for 4 adults or a family with kids. We are repeat visitors and this is our first choice of places to stay when we visit St. Augustine. The host is awesome and you wonât be disappointed if you stay!
We visit St. Augustine often and live approximately 30 minutes north in Jacksonville. We have both lived in Florida for a number of years, although Steve is originally from New Haven Connecticut and Sherre is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio.
My wife and I met while working at the Conch House Marina Resort in 1989-1991, still one of our local favorite spots for dining. We have 2 grown children. We know the area well and have decided to retire one day at Avista. We have another VRBO property at Bryn Mawr Ocean Resort in St. Augustine Beach ID#221986. We have been blessed and so fortunate to have had many great guests over the past ten years! We look forward to continuing this relationship with them and our our future guests. St. Augustine is a wonderful place! The beach, history and a small town feel. Plenty of great dining options and shopping too!
Semi-private community, one way in and out. Nice bike rides and doggie walks! Very close to downtown. You can hear faint sounds while sitting on the front porch from those enjoying downtown just on the other side of the bayfront. Birds, breezes and friendly neighbors in this peaceful community.
