This was my familyâs first time staying at the lake. Great little lakefront house and you canât beat having a private dock for the boat! The cove where the house is located was perfect; a retreat at times for the kids from the main area of the lake. The steps were a bit steep, but in all it was worth it. Tony was good to work with as well. We would stay again, already looking forward to the next trip up!
We really enjoyed our stay. The private dock was perfect for bringing along our boat. The view of the lake from the back deck was beautiful. The stairs from the house to the dock are definitely a workout.
The owner was very helpful and easy to reach. My only suggestion would be to list the home as a 2 bedroom. The 3rd room is only available at an extra fee. We search for 3 bedrooms
Stayed here for the first time in this location on lake Wally with family. We had a great time and always nice to be right on the water. Definitely a very steep incline to the water. I just looked at it as a much needed workout. Tony was very nice and accommodating.
We enjoyed many years at this property. Two of our children are grown and are married. The third is off at college. Thete are two grand children but they are still too young to enjoy the lake. Maybe in 4-5 years they will appreciate the lake. However they did like feeding the ducks last summer. We do not use the house as much as we would like as we are still working. Maybe you can make wonderful memories here as we have over the years.
This property is a great vacation spot. Our children grew up on the lake. They enjoyed swimming, boating, tubing and fishing. There was a rope swing under the Ledgedale bridge towards the river portion of the lake. That area is great for Kayaking and canoeing. Sailing is best up towards the dam. Our cove is great for water skiing. Close to the bald eagle's nest on Kipp island. Near many attractions including claws and paws and horse back riding. Food shopping is 10 minutes south on 507. Many fine eating establishments on or near the lake. My daughter caught the cat fish in the picture above right off our dock nearly 14 years ago at midnight. She could hardly real it in. Twenty minutes to Scranton.
