Casa Caribe: locations de vacances

Casa Caribe est située à «Punta Borinquen», la pointe nord-ouest de l'île de Porto Rico, sur l'ancien site de la base aérienne de Ramey. Cette région est parfaite pour vos vacances dans les Caraïbes, avec beaucoup de choses à faire et entourée de grandes plages et d'une beauté naturelle. Nos installations ont été récemment rénovées et sont équipées de climatisation, Internet haute vitesse sans fil, télévision par câble, nouveaux meubles et appareils électroménagers.
Casa Caribe sera votre siège social pour explorer et profiter des nombreuses activités et attractions à proximité. En quelques minutes, vous serez à des endroits privilégiés pour le surf de classe mondiale, la planche à voile et le kite surf, la plongée sous-marine et la plongée en apnée. Adjacent à la Casa Caribe se trouve un parcours de golf de 18 trous à Punta Borinquen. De l'autre côté de la rue se trouve un nouveau club de tennis.

La propriété est située à 3, 5 ou 10 minutes des plages de surf et 7 à 10 minutes des plages de baignade et de plongée en apnée.

The hosts were great and we appreciate getting to stay at their property. The location of the house is good, close to the airport, surfer’s beach and wilderness. The only thing to note is there is chickens and roosters that roam the neighborhood which wasn’t our favorite in the morning but obviously that is out of the hosts control. Would stay here again!

The place was very clean and charming. While there is no a/c in the main part of the house, with the windows open and the breeze and fans, it was comfortable. The a/c in the bedrooms works great. The bedrooms are a bit dated with older beds, but they were still comfortable, and we slept well. Could use a nightstand on both sides of the bed in the primary bedroom. We didn't cook, but the kitchen was pretty well stocked. The washing machine takes 2.00 in quarters, but the info given was 1.50 (in case you bring your own quarters like we did). The dryer ran on the highest setting for what seemed like a long time, but our laundry still wasn't dry, so we had to hang it to let it finish drying since we didn't have any more quarters. The place is in a residential area where you can hear cars go by and of course, roosters, but they tell you that ahead of time so we expected it. The seating area in the living room was nice for our family of four to relax in the evenings. It was good value for the money, and the hosts were communicative. We had our flight canceled, so we couldn't make the first night we paid for, and it was past the date to get our money back, but they offered to let us stay another night at no charge, which was very nice, though we already had other reservations elsewhere.

The washing machine is brand new, and my mistake about listing it as $1.50 per load instead of $2.00, and I will be updating that information now. Cozy Caribbean Home Away from Home

This home was a home away from home and very clean and cozy. The rooms were very spacious. The location was close to everything. The owners were attentive if I had questions. Next time I stop at Aguadilla I would book this property.

My family enjoyed our stay at casa caribe. The location allows for quick access to the airport, local restaurants and surf breaks. The hosts were quick to fix a minor issue with the internet and were in constant communication before and during our stay. The property was also clean and well maintained. The perfect location!

We had a perfect stay at Casa Caribe and can't thank our host enough. Great communication and hospitality. The location is perfect for surfing many areas of NW PR and close to many amazing food options. The house had everything we needed. Hopefully we will be booking again soon for next year! Convenient location

This place is surprisingly spacious with cute decor. Very clean and neat. More than sufficient towels, etc. Did not cook so can't comment on utensils. Outdoor shower is handy for rinsing off after the beach. Off street parking although backing out is challenging with the traffic. Lots of restaurants in the area but none in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Our recent experience at Casa Caribe revealed several areas requiring immediate attention. The listed amenities were found to be minimally provided, outdated, and poorly maintained, indicating a need for enhanced upkeep. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the property requires improvement, specifically within the guest rooms and common areas. We observed stained bed sheets in one of the rooms, a lack of hand soap in the restrooms, and a depleted supply of diluted soap and absent paper towels in the kitchen. The fans in the living room area were notably unclean. While the location proved satisfactory, these issues significantly detracted from the overall guest experience.

Hi Emily. Thanks for your feedback. When you checked in, you called and you mentioned that it was hot and we immediately sent our manager to provide you with extra fans and show you how to put the air conditioning remote controls on turbo to solve that situation. The only other thing that you mentioned was that you were low on paper towels, and we sent our crew the following day take you some more for your 3 night stay. We never used diluted soap. Never even thought of it. No need to dilute the soap since we buy it by the gallon. If it was low, it would’ve been nice for you to tell us so we could have easily refilled it for you. Hello If there was a fan or fans not clean, we will bring it to the attention of our Cleaner. thank you for mentioning it. The property was professionally cleaned after our previous guest checked out and then on the day of your check in, it was professionally cleaned and prepared for you. This is the same cleaner we have been using for years and have gotten excellent reviews about. We try our best to keep the property up-to-date and in great shape. The house was remodeled two years ago and repainted inside and out. The bathroom and kitchen were remodeled. All of the doors were replaced. We have regular service on all of our air conditioners and WiFi. Being near the ocean, the salt and tropical weather can take a toll on things pretty fast. Best wishes.

Great stay

Everything was as listed. It was nice to be able to park in the property vs by the road. Playground for kids walking distance. Having the washer and dryer accessible was awesome. AC was available in the bedrooms as listed. Only downside was the rosters doing their thing early in the morning but that’s just normal anywhere in the island.

Location and Comfort - 100%

This house was in a perfect location for our annual trip to PR, less than 5 min to the best surf spots, and close to our favorite skateboard park. Very safe neighborhood, and many runners and walkers in the morning hours. My wife enjoyed her running route from the house to surfers beach. The house itself was extremely comfortable for our family (several adults and teens), and we enjoyed cooking and eating meals at home in the evening. Beds were comfortable and the extra attention from the host made our stay extra special. We will be returning next time!

Great Experience

Although there was one day without electricity, I know that it’s because of how bad electricity can be on the island. Other than the one day the electricity wasn’t at its greatest, the rest was perfect. Very great property and great space.

Casa Caribe nice and clean

Casa Caribe is a great place to stay. It is clean, well maintained and comfortable. The location is great For access to several beaches in the area, as well as a lot of good food. The property manager is very nice and really knowledgeable about the area should you have any questions. I will definately make arrangements to stay at Casa Caribe again upon my return trip to Aguadilla Puerto Rico. If you are traveling here you should too!

I must say I enjoyed the stay at Casa caribe... Beautiful, clean and comfortable. I stayed for 3 nights and wished I would have stayed longer. We drove up to rincon and ate at several restaurants one of my favorites was la copa llena @ the Black Eagle, Wednesday is bingo night. Crash boat beach is a 5 minute drive and was wonderful. We had breakfast and lunch at the panaderia just minutes down the road on the left very inexpensive and good food... The air conditioner in the rooms did not work that well but I came in from New York below 10 degree weather the fans worked fine. There was plenty of cooking tools and a washer and dryer. I could not find anything else to complain about. Loved it. I would definitely stay again!!!

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay at Casa Caribe! We were not aware the air conditioners were malfunctioning, but right after you left we discovered the main compressor was not working properly. We went ahead and installed 3 brand new console type air conditioners, one in each bedroom, to ensure our guest's comfort. Thanks for choosing Casa Caribe and we look forward to having you back soon. Great Vacation Home

Casa Caribe was a great place to spend our vacation/class reunion. It is on the west side of the island, where there are gorgeous beaches and less tourists. The home is close to Surfer's Beach, Crash Boat Beach, Bourinquen, Survival, Jobos, and the Shacks. Rincon, where they hold surf contests is close too. There is a golf course right down the road from the house, and you can fly right in to Aquadilla if you want. There are restaurants near by, (we especially liked Nomados and the restaurant at the Marriott hotel) and grocery stores too. The kitchen in the house has everything you need to cook, a nice dining and living room area, and a pleasant yard in the front or back if you want to eat outside. The original tile floor keeps the house cool, and while we did use the ceiling fans, we never had to use the air conditioner. The temperature was around 80 degrees everyday. There is also a washer and dryer to use if needed, and an outdoor shower to rinse off after swimming and snorkeling. Plenty of places to snorkel and surf. The bedrooms and beds were very comfortable and there is plenty of extra linen and towels, including beach towels. We had all our questions answered by email by the owners, and had the bonus of a near by caretaker, Carlos, who was always available by phone. We felt well taken care of and if we needed anything had someone to call. Carlos also gave us a history of the house and the area, which was imformative. The property was clean with no sign of any bugs in the house, but we did have some cute geckos out in the back yard on the banana tree. It was a great time and I would highly recommend it for just a couple (there is a studio you can rent), or a larger group (we had our daughter and her husband with us), but had plenty of room if there were more people.

Location! Location! Location!

We had a great time at Casa Caribe. The house and studio are ample, very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped. Access is super easy, specially if you are flying to the Aguadilla airport.

Fourteen years ago we were fortunate to have been able to establish Casa Caribe Vacation Rentals, in our favorite place in the world: Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.

A little background... I was born on the East Coast, and also lived in Hawaii before we moved to Puerto Rico, where my mother is from. After living in San German, we moved to Aguadilla, where I spent the formative years of my youth and which I have considered home ever since. My wife is from San German also - which is close to Aguadilla - and so we both have tons of familia there. We return every winter, and I am getting so excited about returning I wanted to share this with my friends.

About ten years ago the house next door to the first Casa Caribe came up for sale, so we added that one. Both are in the former Ramey Air Force Base area, which is really like a resort. The people, the beaches, the surfing, and the views are incredible - and the weather is great. A lot of our friends from the mainland stay at our places when they visit PR. It is great when we know that they are there - enjoying it all.
