Avis de 2019: Ce condo a été récemment mis à jour avec de nouveaux cadres de lit, des matelas et de la literie (lit king-size, lits superposés jumeaux-doubles dans la deuxième chambre, canapé-lit queen dans le salon). Les autres nouveaux meubles comprennent un canapé du salon, des sièges et une table à manger. De même, de nouveaux rideaux (rideaux assombrissants sur les fenêtres des chambres), des portes coulissantes en verre, des pommes de douche, une connexion Wi-Fi plus rapide, un accès sans porte et de la peinture fraîche dans le salon et les chambres ont été appliqués.

Le complexe Channel Marker a récemment achevé des mises à jour externes majeures comprenant de nouvelles moquettes dans les allées, un nouveau toit, de nouveaux meubles de piscine, un nouveau gril et une nouvelle base de table de pique-nique en béton. Parmi les autres améliorations, citons les escaliers fraîchement repeints, la garniture blanche des escaliers et le dessous du bâtiment, le retrait du treillis autour de l'entrée du parking (pour accueillir les véhicules plus grands) et le remplacement des boulons en métal rouillé. Channel Marker n'autorise pas les bandes-annonces. S'il vous plaît demander au service clients où un parking pour remorque est disponible.

Channel Marker 306 est un condo en bord de mer de deux chambres et deux salles de bain situé à 0,14 km au sud de la jetée de Surfside. Ce condo dispose d'une cuisine entièrement équipée avec micro-ondes et lave-vaisselle, ainsi que d'une laveuse, d'une sécheuse, du chauffage central et de la climatisation, de tapis, de carreaux de céramique, de parquet et de ventilateurs de plafond. Trois télévisions et une connexion Wi-Fi sont également fournis. Les chambres comprennent un lit king-size, un lit superposé double et un canapé-lit queen-size. Les installations complexes comprennent une piscine en bord de mer avec une terrasse et des grillades aménagées. Limite de deux laissez-passer de stationnement par unité. Idéalement situé à proximité de certaines des meilleures attractions de la région, le Garden City Beach se trouve directement au sud de Surfside Beach et se termine sur une péninsule à l'embouchure de Murrells Inlet. L'une des attractions les plus renommées de Garden City Beach est la jetée de Garden City. Le port de plaisance de Marlin Quay, le café Gulf Stream, le restaurant Original Sam's Corner et le restaurant de fruits de mer Sara J's.

Au sud de Garden City Beach se trouve Murrells Inlet, une communauté balnéaire considérée comme la "capitale des fruits de mer de la Caroline du Sud", mais qui abrite également certains des meilleurs terrains de golf du pays. Autrefois avant tout un village de pêcheurs, la ville est surtout connue pour la promenade de Murrells Inlet, une promenade de un demi-kilomètre de long donnant sur un marais salant immaculé, et pour les nombreux restaurants de fruits de mer et de grillades primés le long de la Highway 17 Business dans le quartier central des affaires.

Brookgreen Gardens, un jardin de sculptures et de réserves fauniques construites sur quatre anciennes rizières, est situé légèrement au sud de Murrells Inlet. Il comporte plusieurs jardins thématiques avec des sculptures figuratives américaines qui y sont placées, des sentiers traversant plusieurs écosystèmes de réserves naturelles et le zoo de Lowcountry.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a nice stay at Channel Marker 306. The unit is pretty updated but could use some TLC on ceiling in bathrooms, leaky plumbing and main bedroom had broken blinds. The unit could use a good deep clean also lots of dust and debris around air vents. The biggest thing for me was there was only 1 bar chair on balcony with table to relax and have a nice view with coffee in the morning and relaxing in the evening with a drink. This is something I always look for when renting a unit, your pictures had 2 chairs in pics but was not the case when we got there. We had to use a table chair which lets you stare at balcony rails.

We were surprised to walk into this condo. The furniture is dirty!! So dirty you do not feel comfortable to sit on it. The popcorn ceiling was constantly falling onto the kitchen counters and floor getting into our food and on our things, there is minimal kitchen appliances to make cooking meals an option, there is a rusted, random chair on the balcony for you to sit on, the baseboards and crown molding are so dusty. We will not be staying in this condo again.

Our boys play in the Mingo Bay Classic High School Baseball Tournament every Spring Break. Making reservations was quick and easy. The property is in the perfect location for what we needed. It is well maintained and extremely clean. From making the reservation to checking out and everything in between Channel Marker is top notch! We will be making our reservations for next year real soon.

The kitchen had the basic supplies. I had to go buy a blender since I like frozen cocktails. Some issues that previous renters encountered still exist — kitchen faucet still leaking and the towel bar in the bathroom is still broken. The popcorn ceiling needs removed since it is flaking off, especially in the kitchen. This unit is close to so many stores, shops and restaurants.

Reviewer Comments: The location was awesome, the stairs miserable...it was four floors up. The unit was plenty big enough. Only two of us stayed here. Cleanliness was below standard. Floors had sand and dirt on them. The ceiling is a popcorn ceiling and it is flaking in areas and unsitely. The blinds in 2nd bedroom are broken and there were no curtains! Blankets in master bedroom were just thrown up onto a shelf in closet. I folded them neatly myself. Pillows on beds were dirty and old. The towels for the unit were good and had plenty of them. The couch and chairs in living need cleaning or replacing. The balcony facing beach needs better furniture on it! I’d rate this condo like a 1 out of 51. The pool was clean and we enjoyed having that. The unit itself just needs further updating.

We realize the owners have renovated some parts and appreciate that. We love the keyless entry. We love the fact that linens are now included. We lucked out with the weather, wonderful trip. We did, however, want to let you know of some things that need attention:. Towel bar in master bathroom needs to be tightened to the wall...bottom bar keeps falling off.. Fan in master bathroom sounds like a plane taking off.. We tried a few times, but could not get the master bedroom tv to work. There was a firestick remote but there but no firestick. Kitchen drawer left of the microwave - the back of the drawer is not there. Everything you put in falls into the cupboard below.. Kitchen faucet cover plate moves every time you move the faucet.None of these things were major, just thought you should be made aware.Overall, great stay. We are from Wentworth-Nord, Quebec...missing the "t".

Great location but place needs updates

We enjoyed our stay because of the location right on the beach. The place is in need of a major renovation as many cabinets are falling apart and the place is old overall. Had a great balcony overlooking the beach but the chairs were so uncomfortable that you could not enjoy that feature. We did enjoy the pool. It was nice and had nice lounge chairs. Area was nice with many nice places to eat. I would come back if improvements are made

Perfect location but hold on...

We have stayed at the Channel Marker for 4 years, however this was our first time staying in 306. We were a little put off when we saw that we would ha e to bring our own linens and the usually provided necessities, however after June 5 that will change. This to us, well me, meant that I had a heck of alot more packing to do with sheets and blankets, towels, washcloths, etc. Also note worthy is the parking. On the website it states there are 2 parking spaces. We only saw 1 that was clearly marked for 306, it was not a covered spot. The 3rd floor wasn't too big of a deal until after we made several trips up and down bringing up stuff when we got there, but hey I look at it as exercise, because dang my legs and lungs were burning! The biggest complaint that I have about this condo, and we haven't had an issue with any of the condos we stayed at there before, is the no good absolute terrible shower pressure. The kitchen sink sprayer has more pressure that the shower head. Other than these issues, we were very happy with the clean private pool with an outdoor shower for rinsing, amazing location, oceanfront, a good balcony, comfortable beds, plenty of seating in the condo, friendly neighbors and a really great company to do business with. Our check-in process was good and we are happy to have had the opportunity to stay in 306. Thank you Garden City Realty!!!

Condo was very nice and overlooked the ocean. Very comfortable. Close to everywhere we wanted to go. Only negative was that the pool which we were looking forward to was closed. Other pools were open, and never received an explanation. The pool did look really refreshing though.

The bathrooms and kitchen need updating. Please remove mat by front door; it’s so slippery, an accident waiting to happen. Living room was nicely done. Lots of dirt under the chairs and small table in living room. Carpet on balcony was very dirty and stained. View from balcony was beautiful. Pam from leasing office a pleasure to deal with

The shower in the master was very difficult to adjust. What would start out as warm water would become scalding hot from changing the flow from tub spigot to the shower head. The closet door in the master was very awkwardly placed and would almost have made more sense to not have one at all.

Vacation getaway.

This unit was everything we expected it to be. Due to other reviews we knew the unit was a bit dated with basic decor of cabinets and flooring. The appliances were fairly knew, the furniture was fairly new and comfortable. Mattresses were also comfortable; which has been an issue with us on other places we have stayed. The view was amazing and we loved spending time on the balcony at any free time. Not all units near us had pools so we felt fortunate to have a choice. I did not want to break the bank for our rental and this was the best of both worlds. Comfortable and steps away from the beach. I could handle dated cabinets. I felt it was a great unit for the price and would not hesitate to rent again. The 3rd floor was quite the hike so if anyone has issues with stairs that would be the only caution I would extend; as to get the 3rd floor you have to go up a full 3 flights because the first floor is not on ground level but a full flight up from the ground

Channel Marker

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Channel Marker was our worst stay in Myrtle Beach thus far. Our room was not properly cleaned, did not meet our standards and was infested with cockroaches.
