We’re glad you found the location convenient, the grounds enjoyable, the beds comfortable, and the cabins clean, and that you found me responsive when you needed additional supplies. I would like to clarify a few things for future guests reading this review. When this reservation arrived, there were several children and dogs with the group that had not been listed on the reservation, and the family arrived in a heavily loaded van with a significant amount of belongings and equipment. They also plugged in an unusually large number of electrical devices. Because this was well beyond what we normally see from guests, I showed them the location of the breaker panel in case a breaker tripped while I was not immediately available. This is not an indication that our electrical system normally has problems. Our accommodations are cabins, and we represent them as such. They are kept very clean and are intended primarily for normal vacation and short-term stays near Williams Bay and Geneva Lake. We are not designed or equipped for extended residential-style living by large families with numerous appliances, devices, pets, and belongings. It appeared that this group may have been interested in a longer-term living arrangement. We do not offer long-term stays, in part because we want to maintain the cleanliness, condition, quiet atmosphere, and overall standard of the property for all of our guests. This review is our of the Norm of reviews we receive. Our maintenance responded right away to their concerns , and found no issues with the hot water or toilet being loose. Our Cabins are well maintained, and the Photos were taken in 2020. Veronica arrived intoxicated which caused an immediate concern. She told us she had reserved our Cabin for her daughter and three young children which she not seen in years, and that her daughters husband will arrive later, and will need to sleep all weekend because he is a Truck Driver. As soon as the Husband arrived, loud arguing began and lasted into the next day, which caused the children to start screaming and crying. One of the neighbors called me and went across the street out of concern of the children. Again, out of concern of the children, the neighbor indicated she was going to call the Police. They argued with each other for about a half hour, got in their cars and took .off. They left the Cabin in terrible shape, and threw all their fast food garbage out their windows on the driveway. Fortunately, this is a very rare occurrence. We are in a very nice and quiet area near the Lake, that has a beach, natural walking areas, and nice restaurants.
