As this home was chosen for the filming location of the popular TV show “One Tree Hill” during the 2009 through 2011 season series, it will certainly be an exciting destination for those of you that followed and enjoyed this popular TV show. During the One Tree Hill convention held in Wilmington NC each year in March, visitors from all over the world drive by this house to hopefully get their picture taken with the house in the background. Sitting majestically along three direct oceanfront lots, each meticulously landscaped and manicured with palm trees and lush tropical foliage surrounding a heated oceanfront pool, covered gazebo, fountain with arbor and trellis covered pathway, all enclosed within a 6 foot high privacy fence. This home nestled along an expansive 237 feet of ocean frontage will certainly provide the ultimate beach vacation that you will not soon forget.

This home has 4 large bedrooms with 4 large full baths with additional sleeping quarters on the upper level balcony loft area. The house is equipped with 2 kings, 1 queen, 1 full with single trundle, 2 sets of built-in bunk beds with 4 twins and 3 additional built-in bunks with 3 twins. It is set up to sleep 16 comfortably.

This home provides major amenities which include: a private heated swimming pool, covered poolside gazebo, enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water, beach observation deck on sand dune, elevator, Wifi, flat screen smart TV’s, Surround Sound, lots of covered porches and decks and last but certainly not least, expansive water views from every window in the house. The views are simply amazing and on a clear sunny day you can see as far down the beach as to the Surf City fishing pier which is 10 miles south. This is all due to the precise positioning of this home as it sits directly in the center of 3 oceanfront lots (237 feet of ocean frontage) with absolutely no view obstructions on either side. It would be very difficult to find a home anywhere with equal expansive ocean views.

From the ground level of this home, you will enter the house through a door that will take you into a foyer. Adjacent to this foyer area is a small open room (similar to a mud room) with benches and wall mounted bathing suit hooks which makes a convenient spot for changing into dry clothes after showering outside and coming in from a long day at the beach. There is a secondary full size fridge on this level which allows for easy access from the pool area without having to go up to the kitchen for beverages. From this room you can also take the elevator and be swiftly transported back up to the floor level of your choice or you can also take the stairs if you prefer.

As you enter this luxurious oceanfront home on the first living level by way of the outside staircase, you will find three large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a walk-in laundry room with full size washer and dryer and a 1st floor living room. There is also direct access to the elevator from this level.

Bedroom 1 on this level serves as a master suite and has northern exposure oceanfront views and is equipped with a king bed, end tables, dresser, chair, ceiling fan and large flat screen smart TV. This room provides direct access out to the covered oceanfront porch through glass slider doors. This covered porch area will also provide access down to the pool and out to the beach. The views from this room are magnificent. The private master bath is equipped with a large free standing soaking tub, large walk-in shower, double vanities and a spacious closet.

Bedroom 2 on this first living level has southern exposure ocean views and is equipped with a queen bed, end tables, dresser, closet, ceiling fan and a large flat screen smart TV. This room also provides direct access out to the covered oceanfront porch through glass slider doors. This covered porch area will also provide access down to the pool and out to the beach. The views from this room are magnificent as well. Adjacent to the entrance door of this bedroom you will find a full bath with tub and shower combination as well as double vanities.

Bedroom 3 on this first living level is located on the sound side of the home and is equipped with two sets of built-in bunks with 4 twins which will be a great place for the kids to hang out. There is a large flat screen TV mounted in the room.This room provides direct access out to the front sound side porch and down to the enclosed yard area. From this room you will have great views of the Sound and Intracoastal Waterway. Just outside the bedroom door is the full bath that will be shared with bedroom 2.

This level also has a very convenient living room which is on the ocean side of the home and provides direct access out to the covered oceanfront porch through glass slider doors. This covered porch area will also provide access down to the pool and out to the beach. This room is equipped with a large sofa, chairs, ceiling fan and a large flat screen TV with surround sound. This is another ideal area for the kids or even the adults to hang out and watch their favorite movies on the large flat screen TV.

As you travel up to the next living level, either by elevator or by stairs you will first approach the large family room which is on the ocean side of the home. This level provides an open floor plan living area in which the dining, kitchen and family room are all open and adjoining which makes for great entertainment space. There is even a bar with a beverage fridge in this area. The family room is equipped with a very large sectional sofa along with other seating. There is a large flat screen TV mounted to the wall. This room provides direct access out to the oceanfront deck through large glass slider doors which are designed to showcase those outstanding ocean views. There is also a full bath with a large walk-in shower on this level.

Directly adjoining the family room on the southern exposure side of the home you will find the dining area with a very large round table with ample seating.This area is designed for your comfort while enjoying those great family meals or even a card or board game after dinner. With glass all around, the views just don’t get much better than this. From the dining room there is direct access out to the oceanfront deck where you will find an additional outdoor dining area (table & chairs), if you prefer to have your meals while enjoying the cool ocean breezes and the captivating ocean views.

Directly adjoining the dining area is the kitchen which in most cases is considered the heart of the home, and what a heart it is. From the kitchen you can look in one direction and have a great unobstructed view of the glistening Atlantic Ocean and then standing in the same location you just turn your head and you will have an unobstructed view of the Intracoastal Waterway. From every window on this floor level, you will have a fabulous water view, whether the ocean or the ICW. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for basic meal preparations as well as all required major and small appliances. The major appliances are all stainless steel and include an oversize refrigerator with inside water and ice dispenser, dishwasher, cook top stove, built in oven and microwave. The small appliances include coffee pot, blender, and toaster. The kitchen has granite countertops and a large island bar area. The island bar is equipped with comfortable bar stools and has enough room to accommodate 6 additional guests for dining. There is abundant custom cabinetry with plenty of storage space as well as a pantry for storing your food supplies.

Just off the kitchen is a secondary dining table that will seat four. This area also provides direct access out to the front covered porch (sound side) where you will find additional dining space (table & chairs) for outside dining if you prefer.

The final room on this living level is Bedroom 4 (the grand master suite) which is a direct oceanfront bedroom with fabulous northern exposure oceanfront views. It is equipped with a king bed, end tables, dresser, chair, large flat screen TV, and a ceiling fan. This room provides direct access out to the oceanfront deck through glass slider doors. The grand master bath is equipped with a large walk-in shower, double vanities and a spacious closet. The views from this master suite are absolutely mesmerizing. You will not be disappointed.

We will now move up to the final living level (level 3) which is an open balcony sleeping loft which will be accessed by the stairwell only. This area showcases some of the best views on Topsail Island. Whether ocean or ICW, this level overlooks it all. One of the sleeping areas on this level is equipped with a full bed with a twin trundle. On the other end of the balcony loft area, you will find a 3 built in twins.

This property comes with a free linen package for weekly rentals ONLY, which includes: bed sheets, pillow cases, towels, wash cloths, bath mats, and kitchen towel sets. Any stay less than a week the linens will be a guest charge to be added to the reservation cost.
