Maison au bord du lac prĂšs de la grotte de Mammoth

Cette maison est parfaite pour votre rĂ©union de famille. SituĂ© sur le lac Nolin dans Brier Creek, juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© du canal principal du lac. Vous aurez votre propre quai privĂ© avec Ă©chelle. Natation, canotage, pĂȘche, paddle board, canoĂ« et kayak sont des activitĂ©s parfaites ici. Mammoth Cave National Park est Ă  environ 30 minutes et il ya des terrains de golf, l'Ă©quitation, les magasins Amish et le parc d'État plage / aire de jeux sont Ă  quelques minutes de cette maison. Le quartier dispose d'une rampe de bateau privĂ©e et notre bordereau de bateau est disponible si un arrangement prĂ©alable a Ă©tĂ© fait.

Cabin was very well stocked and beautifully decorated, it was everything we needed for a quick weekend family getaway. Would consider coming back during summer as the lake looked lovely!

Lovely and well-equipped with a great view!

Beautiful view of water, wildlife, and trees. Well equipped property with everything we needed to cook and store food. Cute deco - fun, stylish lake theme. Comfy place with more than enough room to rest, play games, watch movies, and eat for our group of seven. Convenient to Mammoth Cave (visitor center was about 40 minutes away).

Trip to Mammoth Cave

The stay was wonderful. There was everything you could want to have for a trip in side the lakehouse. The only thing was, in the basement room with the two double beds, the covers smelled of mildew. We chalked it up to the room being a basement room but other than that, everything was great.

The view

As others have said, the view from the deck and even in the living room is beautiful and the highlight. We loved our stay and would return gladly.

Great weekend stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was close to Mammoth Cave National Park. And we loved being so close to Nolin Lake. I would definitely recommend this house if you're looking for a weekend getaway. We had 13 adults and were perfectly comfortable.

Lake Life!!

Our family enjoyed our time at the lake. The deck was peaceful and had great views. The rooms were comfortable and homey. The house was immaculate and included everything we needed to relax and have fun. It was an amazing place to spend time with the family.

Great base for Mammoth Cave

I came with another adult and 8 middle school girls with an American Heritage Girls troop. The property was exactly as stated and close to Mammoth Cave. AHG has very specific guidelines for overnight trips and this home met them all and was in our price range. I highly recommend.

Perfect family get away!

We met up with my in-laws here for short vacation/visit. The house was perfect! The view off the deck was breathtaking and we all enjoyed just sitting on it watching the water and spending time together. Honestly, we all agreed that was our favorite part of the trip and we spent one afternoon at Mammoth cave. Honestly it was just a great spot to relax and enjoy some quality family time. I can't say enough how much enjoyed it. We definitely plan to come back!

Great family accommodations at Lake

Enjoyed -the large partially covered deck (safe for little ones) -amazing view of the lake, - two kayaks, -comfy beds, super soft blankets, -two separate indoor family rooms -Fire pit Kitchen had all of the cookware and utensils we needed. There were plenty of linens for our large group. Easy parking for four vehicles. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would love to visit again!

Nolin lake and Mammoth cave trip

The home was perfect. We went to do some hiking and tours at Mammoth cave. We ended up hanging out at the house because it was so relaxing. Sitting on the deck watching the lake, having a fire, and kayaking. This was the perfect weekend getaway. Thank you.

Enjoyed Our Stay

The home was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The dock space was perfect for the two boats that we brought. We didn’t have power for the first day and a half due to a storm. The owner provided a generator and was helpful in keeping us updated on when we should expect the power to come back on.

Awesome Lake House

The lake was great for swimming and kayaking. The deck was outstanding for hanging out and enjoying the view. The house itself was very nice and could comfortably sleep 12 adults. The drive in and out of the neighborhood was very curvy and hilly and not close to much without driving 45 minutes or so. This home is an excellent choice for staying put and hanging out with your friends and/or family, but not great if you want to go to restaurants and more city-type activities. While we were there we went to Mammoth Cave and Kentucky Down Under, which were really great and pretty close to the home.

Lake house

We are a group of 5 guys that visited the area to ride our motorcycles. The house was perfect for us. 5 separate sleeping areas worked great. The deck on back over looks the lake and was a great place to gather at the end of the day. There is a Dollar General Market just a few miles down the road which was well stocked for groceries. We came to ride and although we were prepared for unpaved roads, we couldn’t find any. Every road in Kentucky was paved and smooth. It is a very scenic area with friendly folks everywhere. I would definitely recommend visiting.

Best Vacation Yet

This lake house was super adorable. The layout made it comfortable for my family of 8 adults and 2 children to comfortably spend time together while still allowing us space to do our own things as well. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed. We were secluded enough that we didn't feel the hustle and bustle of every day life but also not so far from everything that we couldn't enjoy the local activities. The steps down to the lake are a bit steep just as a heads up. But they were well maintained and it seemed like most stair cases around the lake are about the same given the terrain. We all absolutely loved our vacation here and would definitely return if we ever found ourselves in the area again! Thank you!

Enjoyed our stay

Nice place. Plenty of space for 4 adults & 3 teens. Loved the outside space, covered deck and patio. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was great. Kids loved the swimming area. Not far from a grocery store and Mammoth Caves. The cons were that some beds were not clean and the floors had not been cleaned properly either. The drainfield (backyard) was wet the whole 3 days we were there. Firepit area too wet to have a campfire. Lawn got mowed while we were gone and the wet grass clippings were blown all over the back patio and then tracked in the house. Overall if these things were fixed I'd recommend this place.

Great for family vacation.

Our family, ages from 6 to 66, all enjoyed staying at this vacation property. We stayed from Friday until Monday and the weather was great, except for a brief pour down on Saturday morning. By the time we finished breakfast it was over. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils, dishes and pots and pans. The dual coffee pot and kcup Keurig was a nice surprise. Also having a dishwasher was nice. There were 11 of us and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. The view, with the lake and some trees changing color, was fantastic. All the scenery and action takes place out back, but the front provided very ample parking space for all our cars. As other reviewers have mentioned, there was occasionally a drainage odor especially after the rain, but not anything that dampened our fun ( we live in a farming community). The games provided were great, we played Connect Four and Jenga. We couldn't get the air hockey to work; not sure if it was us or the machine. We had a Cornhole tourney in the backyard. Going down to the lake is a lot of steps and fairly steep, but even the 66 year old was able to make the trips up and down. A few people fished from the dock, only two little fish were caught and released. The kayaks on site were put to good use, along with some of our own we brought. Bathrooms were nice and the cabin was clean. There were plenty of towels and extra pillows, blankets and toilet paper. We really enjoyed sitting, talking and eating on both the upper and lower patios. There was plenty of room, yet we could all be cozy together in one place. All in all, we really enjoyed our time at this cabin and we hope to make it an annual trip for our family.

Our stay at this beautiful lakeside cabin was wonderful! The views were absolutely stunning, and the location—tucked away on a quiet street—made it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The home offered plenty of space for our group to spread out comfortably, and we really enjoyed the cafĂ© just at the edge of the neighborhood - convenient and great food! A few small suggestions that would make an already great stay even better: adding a TV on the main level (a swivel-mounted one where the clock is above the kitchen table would work perfectly), including a few dish towels in the kitchen (if they were there, I didn't find the), checking the light in the left-side main-level bedroom (it flickers), and replacing the bulb at the rear entry on the deck. None of these detracted from our experience—it was a beautiful and peaceful getaway, and we would definitely return! Check-in was easy and descriptions accurate. For those not familiar with the area, it is a dry county so come prepared if you plan on a drink with dinner.

This was great place with a beautiful view of the lake! We got lucky with really nice October weather to use the lake but we were only able to use 2 of the kayaks due to only 2 paddles available and 2 of the kayaks had holes in them. It was a little more off the beaten path then we expected but no the less we really enjoyed it!
