La maison est situĂ©e dans une zone ouverte et calme, avec une belle vue sur la mer, Ă  700 mĂštres (10 minutes Ă  pied par chemin Ă  travers champs et non Ă©calirĂ© la nuit) de la plage populaire de Plaka, oĂč vous trouvez des tavernes, restaurants, bars et des services de plage.
A proximité se trouvent les belles plages de Agia Anna, Agios Prokopios et Mikri Vikla, connus pour le kite surf.
L'orientation de la maison est au sud-ouest avec des couchers de soleil fabuleux. La ville est à seulement 10 minutes en voiture (5 km) et à 3 km de l'aéroport.

L'occupation maximale est de 5 personnes et la maison comprend:

Superbe sĂ©jour ! Île atypique mais riche et intense

Ville nickel proche de tout au final. Plage, commerces et des centres animĂ©s principaux de l’üle. Équipements de la maison complets, rien ne manque. Accueil par Lesley qui vous plonge de suite dans l’ambiance de l’üle et vous donne envie. Franchement rien Ă  dire. Un juste rapport qualitĂ© prix prestations !

The perfect place

We had a great stay at the casa al mar in Plaka. The house is very well decorated and equipped (in particular the air conditioning works perfectly). The terrace and the swimming pool are very pleasant with a beautiful view of the sea, perfectly in accordance with the photos! The house is very well located on Naxos, it is both quiet and only a 15 minutes drive from Naxos Town. The access path is a dirt road for 100 meters but very practicable and ensures tranquility. We had no worries the entire stay but knew that if needed Lesley, the local agent, would have helped us immediately! A perfect house to rest, enjoy the beach and Naxos!

excellent séjour

la maison est conforme Ă  l'annonce et trĂšs agrĂ©able et calme. Nous avons eu un souci de dĂ©bit d'eau qui a Ă©tĂ© tout de suite rĂ©glĂ© par Lesley trĂšs rĂ©active mĂȘme un dimanche soir avec une intervention dans la demi heure. formidable ! la caution a Ă©tĂ© remboursĂ©e dans les dĂ©lais. au moment de la rĂ©servation j'ai eu un bug avec ma carte de crĂ©dit et le propriĂ©taire a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs patient et comprĂ©hensif. une trĂšs bonne adresse.

trĂšs belles vacances Ă  Naxos

Nous avons passé de trÚs belles vacances à Naxos dans cette villa avec vue sur la mer. Maison trÚs agréable, au calme, proche de trÚs belles plages de Naxos. La piscine n'est pas trÚs grande mais suffisante pour se rafraichir. Les commerces et restaurants sont proches. Il est indispensable cependant de louer une voiture. Nous la conseillons vivement! nous étions 2 couples avec 1 jeune enfant.

Lovely stay in well stocked spotless home.

We really enjoyed our stay in Plaka. The house was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The pool was small but well positioned. There were sunlounges and great outdoor sitting and dining options. We ate all our meals outdoors. The beach clubs in the area range from cheap snd cheerful to expensive. So something for everyone. The walk to beaches is very dusty and a bit far in the heat of summer so we drove. A car is needed anyway to explore further afield.

Fam vacation

Lovely property - that is private, a short car ride (5 minutes) to the beach or you can walk. Pool was a wonderful little edition after a day at the beach. Rent a small car for the roads are tight on the island. I would rate it a 5 out of 5 if there was a little extra ( like having coffee pods for the coffee maker, water, soaps, shampoos, more toilet paper. Overall great. The rooster on the farm down the way is your alarm clock and there are dogs in the property next door that would bark - we did not mind those though.

Peacefulness at Plaka

The house was in a perfect location to enjoy the peace and quiet of Naxos and yet so close to one of the best beaches, Plaka Beach. The house was clean, comfortable and we loved hanging out in the pool and on the deck. We loved it!

We had an amazing vacation. The house is beautiful and felt like home away from home. We found the house to be very comfortable and clean and all the amenities needed for a perfect vacation. The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood, close to the beach and restaurants. Leslie Greene the property manager was very helpful and answered all our questions immediately. We give five stars!!

Great place

This is a great property. Really well equipped. Easy walk to the beach with losts of restaurants. Great pool and comfy outside seating. We really enyoyed our stay. Thank you also to Leslie for waiitng for us (we got a bit lost so location instructions could be a bit clearler) and sorting out electric for us really quickly. We would most definately return.

Lovely house, great location, perfect sunsets!

We loved our stay in Giuseppe and Michela’s house near Plaka beach. We’re regular visitors to Naxos and this is a great location if you want some quiet around the house (esp in August!) but also walking distance to a beautiful beach, great restaurants and bars etc along Plaka towards Ag Anna. The house was perfect for our family of four - really well equipped, lots of room and simple, chic decor. The pool, terrace and garden are lovely too. Def need a car, so you can explore further afield, but that is a must in Naxos anyway as there’s so much to see. As well as Chora, we recommend inland villages of Filoti, Halki and Apiranthos for exploring and restaurants. Also the beach and restaurants around Kastraki beach are lovely. Thanks also to Lesley for showing us around the house and being flexible with our arrival and departure times!

Great property and experience

The whole process was very professional, with a great property manager who was both professional and delightful. New home with nicely equipped kitchen and great pool quite near a really wonderful beach with awesome beach-front bars. Would highly recommend this for those looking to have a relaxing stay on Naxos!

Already planning our return for Summer 2020

Our family of 5 (2 adults, kids 18, 13, 11) had a fabulous stay at Casa al Mare in July 2019. When discussion came up about possible summer vacation locations in 2020, everyone asked the same thing "Aren't we just going back to Naxos and the house?" The house is as described and we had a great time. We did not rent a car which I guess could limit your options, but we found the walk to the beach, the pool, and the bus to the port to be enough for us in our week. We caught the bus into town 3 times in the week and visited the beach every day. One note - parts of the beach are rocky / sharp and water shoes are needed if you want to go deeply into the water, If you don't feel comfortable walking to the beach / bus stop, then a car would definitely be required. We used the flashlights on our phones at night and didn't have any problems - we even got to see a hedgehog one night (for city dwellers, this was exciting!) We purchased food, beach supplies, and bus tickets at the local mini-market (listed as m.margaritis Supermarket on Google Maps- they take credit cards) and usually made breakfast and lunch at home and then visited the restaurants for dinner. There is an extensive string of tavernas, a Mexican restaurant (Picasso's), pizza and pasta place (AmoreMio Restaurant), and ice cream places towards Maragas Beach - a 20 minute walk along the road or a little longer if you walk on the beach (in our opinion, nicer and less dusty). There is also a full supermarket at Maragas Beach if you need something more extensive. For us, the walks to dinner had the bonus of getting to see the sunsets and stars afterwards. The house had great air conditioning in each room and in the afternoon when it got warm, it was a nice break to nap in a cool room. We figured out we should freeze a couple 3/4 bottles of water each night so that we would have cold water at the beach in the afternoon. We would run the washer in the evening if we needed it and often our clothes would be dry on the rack outside by morning. We found the internet to be fine, but we didn't do any streaming so YMMV. We were met by Lesley at the airport who helped us get a taxi and walked us through the house. The most stressful part of the whole vacation was whether we could get back in touch with the same taxi driver who took us from the airport to the house, as we weren't sure we could describe the address accurately. Overall, we absolutely loved the house, the location, and the island.

Lovely property- enjoyed our stay very much

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything as per description. The roads are very undeveloped so we would definitely recommend driving down to the beach rather than walking .

A perfect place to stay with a family. We stayed for 10 days with our two teens. Giuseppe and Michela’s Villa is perfect for a family of 4. Fabulous location and proximity to everything. Giuseppe is so helpful with planning too. We will be back

Naxos 2019

The villa was immaculate and clean - the only things that could have made it any better would have been a toaster and a microwave but manageable without. the use of the washing machine was invaluable. The internet was not that brilliant so for any tourists that need to use the internet frequently this would not be good for them. We had a good time and enjoyed our stay - however I think it should be mentioned in your description of the villa that the location is not suitable for elderly or infirmed - we had to hire quad bikes to go to the beach, shops and restaurants as the dirt track was hard to walk down and pitch black at night when returning from the restaurant. if your villa was in a slightly better location it would have been perfect - thank you

Lovely villa, all the comforts you need, wonderful views and close to the beach

We had a wonderful week and a bit staying here with two older teenage girls, and had a fabulous time. We all slept a lot, ate a lot and chilled. The villa has all everything you need, including beach towels which was a bonus. The lovely cleaner came in mid way to change our linen which was not expected, but a nice touch. The pool is amazing, and the first floor terraces provide wonderful views and a cool breeze at the end of the day. We hired a car, and it was very useful for heading down the coast to explore the beaches, and up and over the mountains to the east coast. That said, the buses run regularly up and down the beach front, giving good access to the beaches and the Hora. There is a good range of restaurants/bars along the Plaka front and an easy walk back in the evening with a torch. Lesley gave us a very warm welcome at the airport, good advice and tips and helped us with anything we needed. Naxos is not a party island (we did do a day trip to Mykonos which was fun) but a great place to relax and unwind - just what we needed!

My family of 4 (wife and sons 11 and 14) loved our two week stay at Casa al Mare in late June, early July. It is a wonderful house with great amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen, washing machine, AC in all rooms and wifi. We loved the pool and the views from the main outdoor patios and from the two upstairs ones. A car is recommended for this rental but the fact that it had a quiet location suited us. We walked to Plaka beach (7min) but also drove (4 min with ample parking) on hot days. Our favourite spot was the beach area in front of Petrino’s, which was also our favourite restaurant in all of Greece. When we wanted to go to Hora or Agia Anna, it was a quick 5-10 min drive away. The location also provided quick access to the interior villages. The local agent Lesley was very helpful and any small issues were dealt with quickly. Naxos has lots to offer, including good hiking (Mount Zas), secluded beaches, a busy port with a charming old town, and great day cruises. We already miss it.

Amazing villa, close to the best beach on Naxos

A beautiful, nicely decorated villa in a quiet area, perfect for a relaxing family holiday. Fully equipped kitchen, good-sized bedrooms, comfy beds (the best we’ve ever slept in in Greece. Greek beds are often too hard to our liking, but these were just right!), nice bathrooms. Everything was clean, well kept and maintained. The air-conditioners, the shutters and the screening in front of the windows and doors where superb, provided perfect temperature day and night. Lovely outdoor space with all you need for outdoor living. The pool was clean and well maintained. Great location if you like a nice, quiet vacation. A ten min stroll down to the Plaka Beach. I recommend renting a car while staying here. The gate is narrow, so I recommend a small car. The owners, and the agent who looks after the villa, were super friendly, gave excellent service, good information and quick replies. They were very accommodating, and a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend Giuseppe and Michelas Sea View Villa. Our family of five all loved our ten-day stay here, and would be thrilled to come back.

Fabulous Villa for a Family Holiday

We had a wonderfully relaxing 10 days in this beautiful villa. It was just as pictured - amazing sea and sunset views. An easy walk to restaurants in the evening (we loved the tables on the beach at Nikos and Maria's) and to the beach for relaxing, lazy days. The beach is beautiful and not busy. We are a family of 5 with 3 children aged 11, 14 and 16, and all were occupied and content. Thank you for a fabulous time!!

Dream Holidays

Hi everybody, We are a family of 4 (2 boys 7 and 14) and we just want to say that the house was just a dream. We had such great holidays..the view from the swimming pool, the rooms, the living room. The house is clean and well kept. We could enjoy eating outside with the sunset and have such a great time !! The kids loved the pool and me running every morning to the beach for miles and miles. We recommend it for couples and family.
