La maison peut accueillir 10 personnes avec les lits superposés, mais la table à manger peut accueillir 8 personnes. 8 convives fonctionnent mieux, mais 10 sont possibles si cela ne vous dérange pas d'être un peu plus près.

Un magasin de campagne est situé à quelques pas des articles de dernière minute dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. Délicieux beignets faits maison servis frais le week-end. Sandwichs sur commande.

Had a great few days - sunny/breezy - House is exactly as described - comfy - close to beach & well stocked - if you cant find it @ this house you probably don't need it - all the little touches night lights, sand toys, kitchen gadgets - all the adults were 100% impressed & would stay again - Thank you so much for sharing your home!!

Relaxing Getaway

This was our first trip to the Broadkill Beach area. It is a beautiful beach. We loved this house. The house has everything needed to enjoy a relaxing stay. The screened in porch is awesome! We will definitely return!

Second Year at the Beach

We rented this place last year and were so impressed we came back this summer. The property is clean but what we appreciate most is how everything we need is at the house. The kitchen has all the tools you could need, there are games and puzzles for downtime, and, most importantly, everything you need for the beach. I love not needing to worry about bringing chairs, umbrellas, or sand toys. It’s all there including a cart to carry it. Plus the beach access is right at the house, so it is incredibly easy to walk over the dune and be at the water. I would definitely recommend this for a family beach vacation.

Home Away From Home

Great location!! This house had everything we needed. The kitchen was perfect. We don’t go out to eat often so we enjoyed cooking in, sitting on the beach and the screened in porch was awesome. Very relaxing week!! Brad was available whenever we had a question, great host, we thank you for sharing your home!!

Amazing Rental!

Everything was so incredibly clean and tidy. My 3 kids loved playing Cornhole and giant Jenga and the beach wagon was very convenient. We LOVED how close the Broadkill store was. We went just about everyday for ice cream, cold cut subs, or sticky buns. The screened in porch was perfect for staying clear of mosquitos. There is another toilet in the storage area that came in handy a few times. We LOVED our stay and Brad was readily available when we needed him once. Thank you and we will be back!

Amazing and well appointed beach house

What a gem of a property! My Girl Scout co-leader and I took our troop for a long weekend to celebrate their high school graduations. The house was a neat as a pin and well appointed with all of the supplies we needed to cook and enjoy the beach. We were steps from the beach and the Broadkill store on the island. Get the donuts at the store early because they do sell out by 0900!

Relaxing, fun vacation!

The house is beautiful, clean and we loved the large screened in porch. The beach is quiet. You do have to drive a bit to get to shops and restaurants, but, we didn't mind, Lewes is only about a 15 minute drive. We will definitely come back.

It was easy to check in and we had plenty of space. It’s a lovely home and has a lot of amenities in the kitchen. The screened in porch was enjoyable to sit on. A quiet neighborhood and a local store just a block walk away

So wonderful we came back!

Second year in a row and we love it here! Comfortable home with easy access to the beach. My favorite feature - the screened in porch. We watched a few storms from the rockers and even caught a few shooting stars one night. Brad and Karen are easy to work with.

Perfect!

We absolutely loved the property, so clean and stocked with everything you could need. We had a thoroughly relaxing week, much needed and this was just the right place for us. If you don’t want to drive know that restaurants are 15-20 minutes away, but you can also just hunker down here and no need to leave :)

This is a perfect family home!

If you’re looking for a pristine property that is just steps from the beach, this is it. The property is modern and updated and feels like home. The screened in porch and outdoor seating were perfect for morning coffee and also to unwind in the evening. The home is well appointed with every single appliance and all of the amenities one could ask for. We enjoyed the assortment of puzzles and board games to entertain the children. The beds are comfortable and the towels were luxurious. There is also an additional refrigerator (which came in handy for all of our beverages). The Keurig coffee maker was also a really nice touch. Just a heads up, the house is on stilts, so it is not ideal for a guest who cannot walk up stairs. I’m not sure we realized that when booking, but it all worked out. Brad is an awesome communicator, and we hope to stay here again soon!

Family Trip

Lovely time with family for a week. House was comfortable, cozy and spacious for 8 of us. Great weather and a lot of beach time since it was so close. Ate dinner numerous evenings under the covered porch, plus game nights. We would come back for another family trip.👍

Great place to vacation

Everything was just as explained in the reviews. The house is well stocked, very very close to the beach, quiet neighborhood, great to ride bikes on the road or walk on the road. We love Broadkill beach, and have been coming to this beach for about 14 years. It's clean, quiet, not full of people, and is a very friendly place.

Family Trip to Bay

We had an excellent trip in June 2023. The property far exceeded our expectations. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a beach trip from towels and toys for the beach to games and a kitchen that is as well equipped as my own. Everything at the property was in good condition and well maintained. Our group loved the screened in porch which provides some view of the bay and is a calm and relaxing spot. It is easy to get to the bay where we were able to take long walks searching for shells along the beach, build sandcastles and even swim. We saw others fishing from the shore, though we did not do any fishing ourselves. The paddle board and kayak make it possible to enjoy the water even if you aren't interested in being in it. My five year old son, who is not yet ready to go into the ocean, greatly enjoyed the water here. The location of the property is perfect; the beach at the property is quiet with few people. We spent two days at Cape Henlopen State Park, a short drive away, which has a beautiful, though busy, beach on the Atlantic Ocean. We appreciated the quiet of the house and the ease with which we were able to visit the ocean for the day. No one in our group had been to the area before and we all greatly enjoyed it. There was something for everyone from age 5 to 75. We all left with the intention of returning again in the future.

Excellent location!

The house is super clean and the views and relaxation from the deck alone make it a great stay. The owners are very accommodating and quick to assist if needed. We'll definitely be back for another stay soon.
