We enjoyed our stay at this attractive little bungalow that was very conveniently located. It is on a very busy street and some road noise is inescapable.

Hi Ken, thanks for the review. Is there anything we could do differently to get a 5 star from you? The reason I ask is 4 stars are not considered good with the app and they could drop us if we get to many. Although I think they are good, they don’t.

I felt that it was a nice location. Overlooks river, attention to details like extra razor , books , games. Cute space. We will definitely book again on our next trip. I wished we could have been allowed in 30 minutes early but that wasn’t possible.

There is a waterfall right outside the door and a walking path. The stairs to access the unit are very steep and there are a lot of steps. People with bad knees should be aware.

Great stay!

We only stayed one night and got into town late but it was a perfect location and had everything we needed. The instructions to access the property were clear, the apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely return if we come back to the area.

This property is right downtown. It was quiet and convenient. The street is under construction but we had no problems getting here and parking.

Beautiful apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It was conveniently located in downtown Hot Springs and there was even a wonderful coffee shop directly below. The decor was beautiful and the apartment was spacious. It was also so incredibly clean. We highly recommend this space for your stay in Hot Springs, SD!

Cozy little place

My husband and I along with our 2 teenage sons stayed here one night. The apartment was clean and everything was exactly as described. The boys slept one on the futon and on on the rollaway. It was cozy, but worked out good. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable.

Hot springs sd stay

My only criticism is the stairway. It's pretty steep and can be hard to negotiate especially when first starting to descend. A better handhold at the top might help.

James, we appreciate your suggestion. I am sure you realize there is nothing we can do with the stairs on a 110+ year old building and we do disclose the steep stairs. We’re glad you enjoyed your time. A 4 star is not a good review for Airbnb and we are sad to see that based only on the stairs.

Very nice looking apartment

The manager was very nice and helpful once i finally got her attention. The problem is that we sat there for over an hour before we finally got through to her to check in because she forgot to email us a code. Still, this place is perfect for a multi night stay.

Great Place - Will Be Better When Road Construction is Done

The apartment was great - clean and comfortable. Through no fault of the owner, it is a bit of a challenge to get to and find parking due to road construction. Access will improve when the construction is done. Also be aware that there are some steep stairs to access the apartment.

Great Little Place

Great little apartment in a cute town. Close to Wind Cave and Custer. In window blind was broken by the previous renter and the owners were great about getting it fixed. The kitchen was small but well supplied as far as needed tools/pans. We stayed there with another couple which I wouldn't do again, only because the bathroom is through the bedroom and the couch wasn't the most comfy to sleep on. (Good for kids, not great for adults) We would come back with our kiddos though, its a good spot for a "home base" out in the Black Hills.

I am a Real Estate Broker in GA & FL and went to visit Hot Springs, SD and fell in love with this quaint small town and buildings. I purchased the building which is known as the "Medical Building" originally built in 1910. It is a sandstone building and the front was restored to its original architectural standard. We have taken the inside and left the baseboards, doors and internal "medical windows" which provided light during medical procedures and modernized all the furnishings and fixtures which provide for "Endless Luxury".

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This is such a wonderful town full of history and historical information. It is close to Crazy Horse Memorial, Custer State Park, Wind Cave State Park, and others. It is right down the street from Evans Plunge where hot springs literally fill up the pool multiple times a day.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The couch will lay back to 1 twin sized bed and 1 queen sized bed (approx). This is in addition to the King sized bed in the bedroom. The shower is tile with frameless doors. The external windows have been replaced with updated double pane energy efficient.
