House exactly as described, and communication with our host was easy and trouble free. The location is exceptional - easy walk to Lake Harriet, 50th & France, and Linden Hills restaurants. We travel to Minneapolis frequently, this was an excellent stay.
This is a tired old house in a great location. The pictures don't show how poorly it has been maintained over the years. There is no bathroom on the main floor and none of the stairways have handrails--and there are a lot of stairs.
My name is Carrie Sink. I am a realtor with Coldwell Banker Realty in Minneapolis. I own and manage this property. I enjoy working with buyers and sellers and helping people relocate to Minnesota.
This home is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet accessible to parks, restaurants, bars, retail, and coffee shops. You can walk to all of these locations by sidewalk within 3-15 minutes. This home is surrounded by a mix of million dollar homes, quaint cottage homes, and classic colonials. Many of our longer-term tenants eventually purchased a home in the neighborhood because they really enjoyed their experience living in this location.
This house has character and it feels very homey. I love the back yard patio, the quiet neighborhood, and the 1 minute walk to the nearest park. This neighborhood is entirely routed in sidewalks. I love taking walks in the neighborhood and looking at the wide variety of homes. There is a mix of new construction, homes from the early 1900s, Tudors, cottages, colonials, craftsman style, you name it.
