There were no extra trash can liners in the kitchen and only a small bottle of dish detergent. Home had plenty of room for our party of 5 adults and 3 children.The view is great overlooking Grandfather Mountain. Very steep driveway, but that is typical for this location. We enjoyed our 4-night stay and really hated to leave. We love the front porch.

We had a wonderful stay here and will definitely stay here again. Everything was thoughtfully laid out in the home, especially for families with children. We loved the hot tub and a beautiful view!

Wonderful home exactly as described. Great check in/out communication with a book in the home full of area recommendations. Plenty of things to do in the home and areas to spread out. Water pressure and temperature are great in all of the showers with plenty of towels. Home was very clean and well maintained

The view was gorgeous I could have sat on that porch drinking my coffee all day long. The house was everything that was advertised we love the game room first time most of our family had ever gotten to play pool so that was a lot of fun. Our family enjoyed the hot tub morning afternoon and night thank you for a wonderful experience.

Beautiful property, breathtaking views, and the listing was accurate. Banner Elk is close with the necessities and some good restaurants. Stone Walls was our favorite, food was amazing. The host was very responsive to our questions and helpful. Overall great stay and we’d definitely book again.

Home had breathtaking views of Grandfather Mountain. It was cozy and provided closeness yet big enough we werent trampling on one another. The kitchen was fully stocked - making it ideal to cook our meals in. Our family started a new Christmas tradition this year and are looking forward to staying with you next year.

Wonderful Cabin

Our family of four had a wonderful few days at Grandfather Lookout. The property was extremely clean and comfortable, and the view from the porch is spectacular!

Wonderful Stay

We stayed with a few friends and all had an amazing time at this cabin. We were each able to enjoy each other's company and also have our own separate floors for bedrooms and bathrooms.

Great place

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It comfortably slept all of us: 6 adults, 3 children and a 1 year old. The views were amazing of Grandfather’s Mountain.

We had a great time. We pick a place yearly before school starts and this year was grandfather lookout. Love the house and the area, and loved that the driveway was paved all the way to the house, it made it a lot easier to get to.

Great vacation home

Fabulous house to spend a little vacation time in. Not sure how you get people to ever leave. Very lovely place and it was a great place to celebrate my son’s graduation from App State in nearby Boone.

Great weekend getaway!

We stayed with friends and loved the property! Very clean and well maintained. Kids LOVED the hot tub. Also 10 mins from Hawksnest where we went tubing. We had a blast!

Graduation weekend

We had a wonderful gathering of family for our daughter’s graduation. This property is great. Beautiful views, comfortable spaces for everyone, well stocked kitchen. It was wonderful! Highly recommend. Owners were responsive and excellent to work with.
