Great place for a family vacation!
The villa is well equiped and is situated 150m from the beach and restaurants.
The area is quite animated.
There is a little bit of noise coming from the neighbour villas because the houses are close.
But otherwise, I would definetely come back!
The house was beautiful and very clean. Location was fabulous and beach access right across the street. The pool is much larger and deeper than pictures indicate. Used the bbq and decks were terrific. 100% would come back to Stalos and this house!
The villa was amazing the postion of it was ideal as you just crossed the main road and you are on a lovely beach with sunbeds and bars. The comunity are so very welcoming helpful and nothings to much bother. We hired a car from the airport and were able to pop into Chania's beautiful Venetian harbour. We will 100% come back and stay again in the most beautiful Villa.
Great stay in a lovely modern villa close to Stalos Beach. Booking and check in was flawless, we were met and shown around by the delightful Christina. Villa was beautifully clean, and Christina returned twice in the ten day stay to ensure it stayed that way, also providing clean towels each visit. Great home away from home, very comfortable and relaxing, plenty of nice outdoor space. Many restaurants nearby and regular buses into Chania.
An amazing property that was presented exactly as pictured. The numerous places to relax ,both indoors and out ,were decorated in soothing tones with every amenity you could need. We loved the sparkling plunge pool, and large soaking tub. Furniture was well designed and comfortable. The mattress provided very restful sleep. Having a wonderful maid visit twice during our 12 night stay was wonderful, changing sheets and towels. The washing machine and drying rack meant we didn't overpack. We loved the safe, quiet location within 2 minutes of the beach, bus stops, stores, and restaurants. We didn't need a car,and enjoyed trips all over via bus, wanderlust tours, and taxi.
The villa was exactly as advertised and we can only say that we had a marvelous time. Our one and only issue was the very slow internet. The villa is close to supermarkets, restaurants and almost as important the bus stop for trips into Channia and along the coast. All questions answered by return by the host and the on site housekeeper (Christina) who was very helpful.
The property is well appointed and comfortable. The housekeeper Christina was very pleasant and informative. Amenities were excellent. Suggest additional size pillows be offered. Unfortunately, the town of Kato Stalos lost water pressure on two separate days for multiple hours during which there was no water in the master bathroom.
Great location, very peaceful, across the street from a fabulous beach. Many good food options close by - be sure to try Friendlyâs Fastfood gyros, we went 3x in 4 days. A short drive into Chania or a close bus is available.
The villa was in a very good location very, very close to beach, restaurants, pharmacy, shops and bus stop.
Overall the villa was very good, very well stocked but a few extra knives and forks would have been good, also a few microwaveable bowls. We thought the tv was in a bad position, not suitable for 4 people to sit around and watch, minor issue as we were not in the evening very much. The main issue we were slightly unhappy about were the 2 bath rooms, the one upstairs had a small bath with a hand held shower, which would have been ok if there had been a shower curtain around the bath instead of a very small glass partition - very wet floors happened quite a lot. Also the shower head was very large - a smaller round head would have been easier.
The downstairs bathroom had a shower cubicle but the fixing for the shower head was too high, also the shower head was very small and the water pressure was too low. However we managed as it was only for 3 weeks.
Christina who came in twice a week to clean and change beds was excellent and we were very spoilt to have her.
The outside sitting and dining areas were excellent and were well used as was the BBQ
We very much enjoyed the lovely Villa Kostancia! However, we were unaware that the season for this beach community really ends in October. A car rental was necessary and was surprisingly costly. None the less, we found a bakery/coffee shop that we visited daily. We waked to a nearby restaurant that was lovely and found a minimart within walking distance too. We enjoyed the nearby beach and swam several times during our stay. We would love to come back to this rental in May through September as there are many stores restaurants etc. very close by. However if you are seeking peace and quiet, the off season might be just what you want!
We are 3 adults and stayed at this Villa for 14 nights and overall we had a great time.
For us the location was fantastic, just across the road from a quiet beach with a good range of beach bars and restaurants within a short distance.
Being beach lovers we only used the plunge pool a few times but it was adequate for cooling off in the hot weather.
The house was spotless; Christina visited us 4 times during our stay, changing all the bedding and supplying fresh towels. She is so friendly, hard working and deserves a special mention.
We hired a car which was not absolutely needed as most necessities are within a short walk.
When we did eat at the Villa, there was everything you would expect in terms of pots, pans and utensils. We ate outside and there is plenty of outdoor furniture and we also enjoyed the neighborly vibe of the immediate area.
I think the property would benefit from being refreshed, in particular the two bathrooms, however this did not affect our stay and to reduce our rating from 5 stars would have been unfair.
Overall we would recommend a stay at Villa Constancia.
Wonderful villa with everything we could possibly want for our holiday. The villa was exceptionally clean and a mention must be given to Christina who came and did a mid holiday clean of the villa during our stay....villa spotless. Lovely outside area for eating, sunbathing and enjoying a glass of wine.
Great location with local supermarkets a 2 minute walk, beach a 3 minute walk and restaurants again minutes away.
Loved it and will be back!
Beautiful quiet villa in an ideal location. The villa had everything you could ask for, including a lovely welcome basket and cold water and juice in the fridge. Villa was cleaned twice during our stay. We hired a car, but itâs really not necessary as most sights could be visited via organised bus or train. If you like to explore - and there are some beautiful beaches to be found - then hire a car... you see so much more. The beach was literally a three minute walk away. Plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Bus stop just down the road takes you into Chania - a very worthwhile trip. Supermarket on the corner sold staples and a large Lidl in Platanias. Food and cocktails all superb and the Cretan people lovely. I recommend Chania harbour at sunset, Falasarna beach and Elafonisi beach. All in all I highly recommend this villa. Had a fantastic stay!
Hi,
Just back from 12 days in Crete, staying in Stalos. Big thanks to Konstantina for making our stay very easy - her villa is a great property with modern, high quality furnishings a great terrace area, plunge pool and bedroom balcony and has sun all day long!!!
The property is perfectly situated, close to the sea, shops and restaurants - Chania is either a short drive if you have a car, a short bus journey or a very nice and interesting walk. We had everything we needed, with the offer of help if required.
We would like to thank Konstantina for helping to make our first visit to Crete so magical, and would have no problem in recommending this property for a great holiday - Five stars!!
