Emplacement incroyable avec un parking hors rue. Juste un pâté de maisons de Sherman Avenue ('Main Street') dans le quartier recherché de Sanders Beach. Cinq pâtés de maisons du lac, randonnée sur Tubbs Hill et célèbre Centennial Trail. Marcher à tous les restaurants populaires du centre-ville, pubs, parcs, galeries et boutiques. Un pâté de maisons de l'épicerie et location de vélos.

Profitez de toute la maison pour vous. Parfait refuge pour les couples, les petites familles, les aventuriers en solo et les voyageurs d'affaires.

Cuisine entièrement équipée, tous les draps / serviettes. Laveuse et sécheuse. Vélos disponibles sur demande.

'Jan et Rick'

Nous sommes soeur et frère, né à Salmon, Idaho, où notre père a travaillé avec le US Forest Service (nous avons toujours pensé que nous avions un lien personnel avec Smokey the Bear!). Le travail de notre père nous a finalement emmenés en Californie, où nous nous sommes installés dans la région de la baie de San Francisco.
Jan et son mari, Craig, ont déménagé dans la région de Coeur d'Alene avec leurs deux jeunes fils au début des années 1990, après une autre sœur et sa famille. Maintenant, notre mère et une troisième soeur les ont rejoints dans le magnifique nord de l'Idaho.

Rick vit sur la côte Est, où nous travaillons en tant que consultant en vin et boissons. Il essaie de se rendre aussi souvent que possible à Coeur d'Alene, pas seulement pour les jeux de cartes familiaux, mais aussi pour les promenades quotidiennes sur Tubbs Hill!

Jan, avec sa soeur Julie, est un agent immobilier à Coeur d'Alene et possède une connaissance approfondie de la région. Le mari Craig est un sportif avide et connaît les meilleurs endroits pour voler du poisson, ou du poisson de glace, selon la saison!

Nous avons beaucoup voyagé et j'adore séjourner dans des locations de vacances. Nous avons mis en place nos deux propriétés de vacances - Nanny's Bungalow & CdA Blue - la façon dont nous aimons rester en vacances. Ils sont tous deux bien approvisionnés, propres, confortables et épurés. Vous pouvez en avoir autant (ou aussi peu!) contactez-nous pendant votre séjour, comme vous le souhaitez.

The visit to Nanny’s bungalow was very enjoyable. The house is well appointed, clean, the beds are really comfortable, the location is quiet, close to Sanders Beach, Tubbs Hill and the downtown area. The hosts were accommodating and easy to communicate with.

My friend and I stayed here for a Girls' weekend and had the best time. The location was great - easy access to downtown and a quiet neighborhood. The house was perfect too - it had everything we needed. Communication with Rich to set up the reservation and then with Jan once we were there was so easy. It was a great stay and if we have a chance to come back, I'd definitely look up Nanny's Bungalow.

Home away from home

This house was perfect for our trip to PNW. The house was perfectly stocked and so cozy! We enjoyed daily walks to downtown. When we find our way back, we will definitely book again!

Property/House Hunting

We spent a 3-day Property/House hunting in the CDA area. Nanny’s Bungalow was centrally located to go north to Athol and Sagle or south St Maries. Nanny’s was clean, comfortable and close to yummy places to eat and the grocery store. We will definitely stay there again until we find our little place of paradise in Northern Idaho!

Lovely stay in Coeur d’Alene

We had a wonderful stay at Nanny’s Bungalow. The location was great; close to plenty of restaurants, the grocery store and coffee. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals while we were there as well. The house was a great size; perfect for our family of 4. When we were fighting with the lock box when we arrived (our issue not theirs haha) we were promptly brought another set of keys without even asking. Overall we had a great stay and will definitely look into staying again if we come back to the area.

Absolutely Fab!

Very tidy. Lovely back yard with bbq and lots of seating. Fortunately we had balmy evenings and late sunsets in mid June. Amazing variety of spices, Well stocked with basics for cooking. The air conditioning was super efficient during the heat of the day. Short walks to everything CDL has to offer. Totally recommend.

Perfect House, Perfect Location

We loved our stay here! We were in town so our son could attend Ironwood Throwers camp. He took our car every day and my husband and I chose to walk everywhere. The house is the perfect location. Very quiet and quaint neighborhood. The backyard and patio with the grill are perfect for summer evening dinners outside. Downtown is just a quick 7-10 minute walk. You can walk to a public swimming beach in 10 minutes. The house is well stocked and the owners are amazing. they are are very responsive to any messages and just live next door. We hope to come back soon as we loved everything about our stay.

Very nice place, however the sprinkler pump woke us up in the morning at 5am and lasted until 7am.

Very nice place, the owners were on top of communication, we liked the location and the neighborhood was quite. We would have gave this a 5 star rating however the sprinkler pump started up each morning at 5am and was loud enough to still hear it over our noise machine, thus we did not get good sleep. The other issue is the Roku TV. I had to call the owner to lend me an HMDI cable to hook up to the TV because the Roku portion of the TV would not work. Overall if they fix those two issues this will be a great place to return to.

We stayed for a girls weekend. This location was perfect, easy walking to the lake, Tubbs Hill, coffee, the neighborhood was quiet and the house was very cute, clean, and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable as well. We are already talking of staying here again.

What an amazing little house. The property was clean,quiet and had everything we needed, and was close to all amenities. There were bikes for us to use which we did. Jan, one of the owners greeted us and made sure we had the contact numbers for us if we had questions or in an emergency. Jan made us feel very welcome. We will definitely rent Nanna's cottage again if it is available.

Great location, well-maintained house, easy improvements can be made

Overall, this was a sufficient place to stay for our family of four (mom & dad, 2 college-age sons). The location is great, and very quiet. We would probably stay here again, but with hopes that some easy improvements are made. The house itself was ok. For the price and property details, I didn’t expect the Ritz-Carlton. Pros for this house, in addition to the great location: well-maintained private yard, well-stocked, very comfortable living room furniture and beds, good kitchen, nice backyard patio. Cons: kitchen pans/skillets need to be purged/replaced, kitchen cooking utensils and knives need to be upgraded, window in bathroom was broken / didn’t open (with no bathroom fan, that wasn’t great), furniture details could easily be improved such as adding end tables in living room, clock on the wall, etc. I feel that the owners could put a little more thought into this place to finish it off and easily get it to 4-stars. It’s still way better than staying in a hotel, and it served us well as our CDA basecamp.

Fabulous Stay!

We had an amazing stay at the bungalow over Mother’s Day weekend. The home was spotless, cozy, and the backyard was perfect for relaxing and barbecuing. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches from our hosts, along with the extra amenities that made our visit so enjoyable. Conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Coeur d’Alene, we loved exploring the parks, lake, and hiking trails, as well as sampling the delicious local cuisine. Nice, clean 2 bedroom home; just the right size for a small family. It’s close to downtown and restaurants/coffee shops. It was snowing so we didn’t really explore much but hope to be back soon.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked well. We were close enough to town and the lake to walk. The only suggestion I have is.... it would of been nice to have a kettle for hot water as I am a tea drinker and don't drink coffee.

‘Jan and Rick’ (Okay, the photo is a 'few' years old!)
We are sister and brother, born in Salmon, Idaho, where our father worked with the US Forest Service (we always thought we had a personal connection with Smokey the Bear!). Our father’s work ultimately took us to California, where we settled in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Jan and her husband, Craig, moved to the Coeur d’ Alene area with their two young sons in the early 1990s, following another sister and her family. Now our mother and a third sister have joined them in beautiful North Idaho.
Rick lives on the East Coast, where we works as a wine & beverage consultant. He tries to get to Coeur d’ Alene as often as possible, not just for the family card games, but also for the daily, morning walks on Tubbs Hill!
Jan, along with sister Julie, is a realtor in Coeur d’ Alene and has in depth knowledge of the region. Husband Craig is an avid sportsman and knows the best places to fly fish, or ice fish, depending on the season!
