We had the perfect stay for our fishing weekend in Pueblo! Darrell and Mary were wonderful hosts — friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our trip. The home was very clean, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with little extras that made us feel welcome, including toiletries, coffee, snacks, and even a few drinks waiting for us upon arrival. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and would absolutely stay here again!

If all the places we’ve stayed over the years, this place was ABSOLUTELY the BEST! Very clean, very private and minutes from just about anyplace. My family and I would most definitely stay there again and again! Owners are very friendly and attentive when needed.

Owners were absolutley great. Porperty was clean, quite and safe. Inside was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. The snacks and beverages were a very nice touch. We will definitly stay there again. Bronco and Gracie are great mascots!!

This property was a serene getaway just gorgeous & perfect for our group of 6 & 2 dogs. I cant say enough about our host ! We are vrbo travelers & this was by far the best.we asked for favors & he accommodated all. We were very comfortable. Grab this place when you can you will Love it! We plan to stay again next time we come through. We also had family in a motor home plenty of space to park & very dog friendly thanks again !

Very courteous and accommodating at all times! Went above and beyond to pickup and stage groceries prior to arrival. Provided all my prior requests.! Super Friendly and will definitely return next year and each year after that. Only I would suggest instructions on TV and DVD.

Slightly lacking on comfort.

We were a little disappointed with this property. After long days of hiking the sofa in the family area is not comfortable to sit in and relax and the beds are very hard for our liking. A lot of upstairs noise can be heard downstairs, we were woken up at 3am due to the upstairs noise. The owner was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him. Just wish the property was a little bit more comfortable.

We appreciate your feedback and we’ll work hard to improve in the areas you mentioned. Thanks for choosing our home! One of the reasons I like to communicate with our guests is to make sure they are comfortable. If I knew the beds were hard we have mattress toppers available. The sofa couch is a very expensive Carson sleeper bed. We have several extra blankets and pillows available for use to make it more comfortable. We spoke the day after the 3am wake up. I had to take my wife to the airport to take care of our Daughter in law. Life happens! You can’t get a hotel or better VRBO for the price we offer for a two bedroom, living and dining area on three acres. Maybe, a one bedroom at Motel 6 in Pueblo.

Great First Stay in Pueblo

First, we must state this was an exciting trip to visit our son at USAFA and get away in the great outdoors. A respite for him. Unfortunately, it became a time of sadness as we had just loss our dad/grandfather. But Darrell welcomed us, was gracious to let us have time alone with little interaction, was even willing to give us an earlier check in if needed(but wasn’t). The home was perfect for what we needed. It was quite, welcoming and the outdoors was a perfect spot for our family to reminisce about grandpa. We eventually got through it and were still able to enjoy all their home had to offer. From favorite movies in the evening, to grilling a favorite meal, enjoying the evening sky with the fire pit and s’mores, lots of card games around the table and corn hole matches. even made it to church that was close by(5min drive) to Lake Pueblo for a day of relaxation in the sun(6 min drive), got a round of golf in at Desert Hawk (5 min drive)and the conveniences of multiple stores and food. Darrell even shared some fresh picked veggies from their garden. Their home had all the necessary things we needed to make our stay enjoyable. They even had snacks and drinks for us to enjoy. We only missed meeting the other half of this great duo. Thank you for sharing your home and we hope to come again.
