The experience begins before you even arrive. A mile-long drive winds through beautiful woodland along an uneven estate road, revealing breathtaking glimpses of Harewood House and its lake. Pass an old stone bridge, ponds and waterfalls, and keep watch for the abundant wildlife that calls the estate home.

Woodside Lodge sits tucked among the trees, with parking for three cars and an EV charging point. Inside, the original stone section houses the characterful master bedroom, with a king-size bed, soaring apex ceiling, exposed beams and an en-suite walk-in shower. Two further bedrooms each feature zip-and-link super-king beds, offering flexible sleeping arrangements, alongside a family bathroom.

At the heart of the lodge is the stylish open-plan kitchen, dining and living space. The well-equipped kitchen includes an induction hob, dishwasher, Nespresso Vertuo machine and washer-dryer, while comfortable seating, a Smart TV and contemporary log burner create a welcoming place to unwind. Floor-to-ceiling glazing opens onto the deck, where woodland and lake views provide a spectacular backdrop. Below, discover a wood-fired hot tub, barbecue, fire pit and outdoor dining area.

The location, however, is what makes a stay here truly special. Harewood House and its magnificent parkland are right on your doorstep, with beautiful countryside all around and plenty of opportunities for walking and exploring.

The elegant spa town of Harrogate is within easy reach, perfect for independent shopping, restaurants, cafés and a visit to the famous RHS Garden Harlow Carr. Head into Leeds for superb shopping, dining, culture and nightlife, or spend a day discovering historic York, where medieval streets, York Minster and the city walls offer centuries of history.

Closer to home, explore the characterful market towns and villages of Yorkshire, enjoy scenic walks through the surrounding countryside or venture into the Yorkshire Dales for spectacular landscapes and memorable days out. Historic attractions including Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal also make excellent excursions.
