Luxury Estate, situé dans la jungle en pleine nature avec une vue imprenable sur l'océan

Owners Martin and Anna retired to the jungle to experience a very different lifestyle.
Costa Rica is very laidback. Arriving from Pittsburgh, USA late 2015 (we are British) along with our adopted Chihuahua Ben and Golden Retriever Alex age14 yrs old. Alex has since passed but enjoyed his last 18 months especially the beach and sea. 3 years ago we were asked to take on an English Fox Hound (Sandy) who was in desperate condition found on the side of a river. Sandy is now very healthy and become a member of our family and pal for Ben.
We love sharing what Skyfall has to offer and our own local knowledge to help visitors make the most of their time in the Southern Zone and Costa Rica.
“We bought a Zoo” Martin and I both have a love of nature and never tire watching the visiting monkeys both howlers and capuchins, spot the sloths, peccaries, anteaters, skunks, armadillos to name a few. Nature abounds as Skyfall it is situated in heart of the jungle and in a natural corridor to see mammals, birds and insects on land and in season numerous Humpback , Orca and Sperm whales close to shore. To that end we built a tower eye level with the tops of the trees overlooking the jungle and ocean. We have since taken up photography, fishing, house and interior design and landscaping, being very hands on.

Having spent many hours looking at options , properties as well as building lots we eventually settled on a 9 acre piece of jungle with the most amazing panoramic views. The location was far enough into the jungle without being “a bridge too far”. Situated between Dominical and Uvita makes it very convenient for local stores, restaurants and long sandy beaches.
We designed the villa with flexible accommodation taking full advantage of the views from every room and using local wood to be in keeping with our Spanish hacienda design.
Accepting we are guests in our Jungle we have respectfully landscaped the immediate surroundings adding color and fruits to compliment nature’s garden and satisfy the abundant wildlife with natural food sources.

After 4 years we are now in the process of completing our gated estate which now includes a luxury apartment and casita. The villa benefits from a whale watching tower that puts you at eye level with the top of the trees which also incorporates a yoga deck an evening “ Specracular “ are the bold an dynamic Sunsets that never fail to Amaze.
Having just finished extending the villa adding a self contained suite which includes a large king bedroom, large bathroom with free standing tub, indoor and outdoor showers, Jack and Jill sinks. This suite (4th bedroom) overlooks the National Park “The Whales Tail” and ocean on two sides. Extending out from the bedroom and bathroom is a large teak deck. This wing of the villa can be quite separate from the rest of the property and is available to rent. The whole estate can sleep 10 comfortably.
