Vine House, a spacious Victorian home with beautiful countryside views

Tucked away at the end of a single-track lane in a peaceful valley near Bantham, this much-loved Victorian home (around 150 years old!) is all about charm over polish.
Set over three floors, the house has four double bedrooms (including a super king-size bed in the master bedroom), three bathrooms, a spacious open-plan living and dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. There is a log burner to use after a long day on the beach.
Outside, enjoy beautiful countryside views, a steep terraced garden, and the soothing soundtrack of a nearby stream—plus regular visits from rabbits, squirrels and plenty of birdlife including owls. Free parking for 2 cars is situated next to the house.
It’s about a 30-minute (1.5 miles) walk to Bantham Beach or Thurlestone (short drive if you prefer), and under 10 minutes by car to Kingsbridge. A great central base to explore Salcombe, Hope Cove, Totnes, Plymouth and beautiful Dartmoor.

A couple of honest notes: the garden is steep (see pictures), the layout (2 bedrooms on the ground floor, and 2 on the top floor) may not suit those with limited mobility.

2 well-behaved, quiet dogs are very welcome.
