🚭 Smoking is allowed only on the balcony, where an ashtray is provided. Indoor smoking is not permitted.
⚠️ The studio is on an upper level and accessed by stairs, so it’s not suitable for guests with mobility issues or very heavy luggage.
🌙 Noise & Nighttime Calm
Located in a lively, authentic neighborhood where locals live, commute and work, the studio may have some everyday city sounds, including occasional noise from traffic, construction or nearby businesses. Most noise occurs outside quiet hours (15:00–17:30 & 23:00–07:00), when guests are usually out exploring the city or nature. For nighttime calm, the studio features double‑glazed windows, external shutters and blackout blinds to help reduce noise, and the area is still significantly quieter than other central parts of Chania.

🔍 Who this space is — and isn’t — ideal for

This studio may not be the right choice if you’re looking for complete silence far from the city, a more luxurious or spacious accommodation, a countryside atmosphere, or the ability to smoke indoors. It’s also not ideal for guests who prefer either a very rural setting or, on the opposite end, a busy central location. Pets are not allowed, so it won’t suit travelers who bring animals.

However, if you appreciate simplicity and want a clean, well‑maintained, budget‑friendly base for swimming, walking, and exploring Crete, this 34 m² studio will feel just right. Located only 90 meters from the beach, it offers a private entrance through the quiet back courtyard, fast and stable Wi‑Fi, a private balcony, easy street parking, and a fresh environment without smoke or pet odors.
