There are several marked hiking and cycling routes in the area. Good restaurants, a fish shop at the harbour, a well-stocked supermarket and ice cream shops ensure that both children and adults can satisfy most culinary wishes.



You are also close to the Viking town of Hobro, the deep Rold Forest, the heath-covered Rebild Hills and the town of Mariager with vintage trains, a salt centre and boat trips on Mariager Fjord.
