À propos de cet hébergement
Yr Pandy a beautiful barn conversion nestled within the Snowdonia National Park
Croeso i Gymru! Welcome to Wales!
Nestled within the breathtaking Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, Minafon is a beautifully refurbished 18th-century stone and slate farmhouse offering a peaceful escape surrounded by mountains, forests, streams and plemty of wildlife.
Your hosts, Robat and Megan, are a local couple who longed to return to the area and embrace a quieter way of life. Robat works in marketing, while Megan — a London native with Welsh roots — is a professional scenic artist and prop maker.
The Space (Inside):
The farmhouse comfortably sleeps up to four guests, with two double bedrooms suitable for either four adults or two adults and two children.
There are two bathrooms:
A spacious family bathroom on the first floor with a bath and shower
A downstairs shower room combined with a utility space
The utility area includes a washing machine and toilet for added convenience.
The open-plan kitchen and living area is designed for relaxing evenings in, featuring:
A fully equipped kitchen
Dishwasher
Log burner
Smart TV
Board games for cosy nights in
The Space (Outside):
Outside you’ll find a lovely outdoor dining area with additional seating and a BBQ, perfect for enjoying local produce.
A gentle stream runs in front of the cottage, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. There is also private parking for two cars.
Surrounded by forests and mountains, the area offers endless scenic walks and plenty of opportunities to spot local wildlife.
The Surrounding Area:
This area is a paradise for walkers, bird watchers, and mountain bikers, with countless trails to explore.
Nearby highlights include:

Dyfi Bike Park — a must-visit for mountain bikers
The cottage sits on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Pennal, home to:
The Glan Yr Afon – an award-nominated community-owned pub
A children’s play park
Pennal is also historically significant as the place where the last Prince of Wales, Owain Glyndŵr, signed the Pennal Letter in 1406.
