The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to prepare hearty home-cooked meals, with well-stocked cupboards and all the essentials close to hand. The dining table for four is ideal for leisurely breakfasts before a beach walk or relaxed evening meals together after a day of exploring.

The inviting living room has been thoughtfully arranged for comfort and relaxation. Two sumptuous sofas offer the perfect place to unwind, while the electric fire creates a warm and cosy atmosphere on cooler evenings. With a TV and a selection of board games provided, it’s a wonderful space for quality time together.

Upstairs you’ll find two beautifully presented double bedrooms, each offering comfortable beds and wardrobes for your belongings, creating a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. The family bathroom is also located on this floor and features a bath with a shower over, perfect for a long soak after coastal adventures.

To the rear of the cottage is a private enclosed courtyard, a lovely suntrap where you can enjoy al fresco dining with the BBQ and comfortable outdoor seating. The secure outhouse provides ample storage for bikes and outdoor equipment and conveniently doubles as a utility room with a tumble dryer.

Families are well catered for, with buckets and spades supplied for little ones, ideal for picnics and sandcastle-building on the award-winning beach just a five-minute stroll away. At Paddy’s Cottage, we understand that pets are part of the family, which is why up to three well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed.

Marske-by-the-Sea itself is a friendly and traditional coastal village with independent shops, welcoming cafés and local pubs, offering a relaxed atmosphere all year round. The sandy beach stretches for miles, linking you to Saltburn-by-the-Sea in one direction and Redcar in the other, making it perfect for long scenic walks, paddling in the sea or simply soaking up the coastal views. Dogs especially love the open space and fresh sea air.

For those who enjoy walking, the dramatic cliff-top scenery of the Cleveland Way offers breathtaking views as it winds along the coastline. Following this route allows you to discover picturesque fishing villages and bays such as Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend, Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay, each full of character, history and stunning sea views.
