NEARBY ATTRACTIONS
Bosham itself is a lovely place to spend the afternoon, with cafĂ©s, the Church, the craft centre, art gallery, and plenty of walking opportunities. From the southerly point in Bosham, you can catch the Itchenor ferry by following Shore Road and the signs. Parking is available, or itâs a pleasant 30-minute walk around the harbourâs edge. The ferry takes you across the water to the historic sailing village of Itchenor. From there, you can walk along the Salterns Way to West Wittering Beach, or stop for a bite to eat at The Ship Inn or the Quarterdeck CafĂ©. Harbour water tours are also available from Itchenor.
The Roman town of Chichester is just 5 miles east of Bosham. Its pedestrian-friendly city centre is home to boutique shops, cafés, restaurants, galleries, and Chichester Cathedral, notable for its unique separate bell tower. Bird watchers might spot Peregrine Falcons nesting in the tower.
West Wittering Beach is a beautiful, sandy Blue Flag beach in a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Largely undeveloped, it retains its natural charm and is perfect for walking, swimming, paddleboarding, and kite surfing, with plenty of parking available.
The Trundle, the highest point on the South Downs Way, is part of the South Downs National Park and the famous Goodwood Estate, offering spectacular views across Chichester Harbour.
West Dean Gardens, on the Midhurst Road, is one of the finest restored gardens open to the public in England. Wander the grand pergola or explore the historic Arboretum. Next door, the Weald & Downland Living Museum showcases historic buildings rebuilt brick by brick in beautiful downland countryside.
Fishbourne Roman Palace is another must-see, offering fascinating insights into Roman Britain with mosaics, gardens, and reconstructions of the ancient palace.

Check in time is after 4pm and check out time is before 10am. Please can we ask that you check out on time to prevent any disruption to the cleaner's schedule.

CLEANING/ LINEN
The property will be cleaned and prepared with linen and towels for your arrival. Mid-stay cleans are not included, but please get in touch if you would like to pay to book a clean or fresh linen and towels during your stay.
We will also provide a limited amount of consumables (toilet rolls, shampoo/conditioner etc.) to kick-start your stay and can recommend a local store where you can easily purchase more when you are settled in.
PETS
One small, well behaved dog is welcome to join you on your holiday in the cottage, for an additional fee of ÂŁ30 to cover extra cleaning. Please message in advance with the details of your pet (breed/age).
- Dogs must be well behaved and house trained.
- Please do not allow them upstairs or on the furniture.
- Please clear up after them in the garden and around the property.
- Muddy paws should be cleaned before they are allowed in the house.
