Ideal for families and friends, these beautifully appointed tents invite you to slow down, breathe in the fresh Hampshire air and enjoy a truly memorable glamping escape.

Each tent sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms, with a king-size master bedroom, a twin room and a cosy double cupboard bed tucked neatly into the wall – perfect for children, with plenty of storage beneath. Travel cots are available to hire for infants. A modern internal En-suite bathroom includes a hot-water shower, flushing WC and basin, so you can enjoy the outdoors without sacrificing comfort.

The tents open into a spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, warmed by a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings throughout the year. A comfortable sofa provides a welcoming place to relax, while the dining table seats six guests, with high-chairs available to hire for younger children.

The well-equipped kitchen includes a gas hob, hot and cold running water, sink, kettle, cafetière, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and even children’s cutlery. Food is kept fresh using a cool box with ice blocks. Outside, each tent has its own Weber barbecue, ideal for relaxed outdoor cooking. Guests can add Gambledown Farm steaks, burgers, sausages or bacon as a BBQ or breakfast hamper, or purchase them directly from the on-site farm shop.

Step outside onto your private deck with Adirondack chairs, perfectly positioned to take in the scenic views. A fire pit with rustic tree-stump seating sits nearby, ideal for huddling together in the evenings and toasting marshmallows under the stars.

Gambledown Farm has been family-run for over 50 years and is a working regenerative mixed farm, home to pedigree Beef Shorthorn cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens, arable crops and areas of ancient woodland. Guests are warmly invited to experience the rhythms of country life, from meeting the animals to enjoying the peace of wide-open spaces.

In spring, children are especially welcome to help bottle-feed orphaned lambs adopted from a neighbouring farm – a much-loved highlight for many families. Glamping guests can also hire their own chicken coop just outside the tent for the freshest eggs at breakfast, simply added as an extra when booking.

From the farm gate, excellent countryside walks lead through beautiful rural landscapes to traditional country pubs or into the nearby market town of Romsey. On site, guests can enjoy our wood-fired sauna and cold plunge (bookable during your stay), as well as yoga and pilates classes held in our peaceful studio.

During high season, we host wood-fired pizza nights every Tuesday and Saturday for glamping guests, using our outdoor pizza oven and a choice of delicious toppings. Supper clubs, cookery demonstrations and seasonal events are also held throughout the year.

The on-site farm shop stocks glamping essentials including extra firewood, charcoal, firelighters, marshmallows, Gambledown meat, local ice cream and tea and coffee.
