The Space:

Ale Hop Lodge is a peaceful and welcoming retreat designed for comfort and relaxation. The home features two cosy bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished with comfortable beds and quality linens to ensure a restful night’s sleep. With two modern bathrooms, there’s plenty of space for everyone to refresh and get ready with ease, making it ideal for couples, families, or small groups.



The open-plan living area is bright and airy, offering a comfortable lounge space to unwind after a day of exploring. Relax on the sofas, enjoy a movie, or gather around the dining table for a shared meal. The fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner at your convenience, whether you’re enjoying a quick snack or a full home-cooked meal.



Large windows throughout the lodge let in plenty of natural light and provide peaceful views of the surrounding countryside, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re staying for a short break or an extended visit, Ale Hop Lodge offers a true home-from-home experience in the heart of the Pocklington area, with local shops, scenic walking paths, and easy access to York and the Yorkshire Wolds nearby.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to their lodge from 4pm on their arrival date. Our on-site team will be on hand to support your check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay. Please note that there is one parking space to the side of each lodge, this is to be used by one vehicle only. All other vehicles can drive to the lodge to drop-off luggage but must park their car in the main car park for the duration of their stay. There is strictly no parking on the grass at any times. Quiet times are between the hours of 10pm and 7am and we politely ask that you respect your neighbours when using the outdoor facilities during these hours to ensure everyone has an enjoyable time when staying with us. Please note that the park is Dog Friendly but we ask that all dogs are kept on a lead at all times when on the park site. All guests can make use of the additional facilities at the Lodge Park. These include JJ's Bar & Grill, a Take-away Pizza Shack, 9 Hole Golf Course, Driving Range and Children's Play Park

The park is located off the A1079, only a couple of miles from the vibrant market town of Pocklington and around thirteen miles east of York. Guests arriving by car can access the park via the A1(M) and A64, both offering smooth routes through scenic Yorkshire landscapes. Complimentary parking is provided for complete convenience during your stay. York Railway Station, just 25–30 minutes away, provides excellent national connections with regular services to London, Manchester, Leeds, and Edinburgh. Taxis are readily available from the station, or guests can reach Pocklington by bus and complete the final short leg of the journey by taxi or on foot. Nearby amenities include local shops, restaurants, and cafés in Pocklington, as well as outdoor adventures in Allerthorpe Common Nature Reserve.
