There are patio doors that lead out to a small but private terrace - a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Upstairs you’ll find two cosy bedrooms, including one with full-size bunk beds for children or adventurous adults and the other a double. Plus, the bathroom with shower and washing machine is conveniently located on this floor. There are so many activities on offer, inviting you to make the most of your stay, whether for a short getaway or an extended visit.

If you’re keen to explore the surrounding area, the local train service offers a great way to discover nearby towns. A Ranger or Rover ticket lets you hop on and off throughout the day, making the most of your time in this picturesque part of Wales. If you’re in the mood for adventure, the beach offers endless possibilities. Whether you’re building sandcastles, jumping off the jetty, or toasting marshmallows by a fire made from driftwood, Aberdovey’s shoreline is a perfect playground for all ages. A scenic walk along the beach to Tywyn is well worth it. Venture further afield, and you’ll find even more to explore.

Take a nostalgic trip to the Magic Lantern cinema in Tywyn, with its Secret Garden serving drinks and tapas. Visit the waterfalls at Dolgoch, reached via the scenic Tal-y-Llyn railway, or head to the Honey Ice Cream shop in Tywyn for a taste of their famous whippy ice cream.
