à propos de cet hébergement
Cosey detached Chalet with wonderful Estuary and Mountain Views.
Idris Heights is an immaculate detached spacious chalet in an elevated, private location with beautiful views over the Dyfi Estuary and to the mountains in the distance.
The site is located at the foot of the lovely Cader Idris Mountain range and nearby is Snowdonia and the resorts and beauty spots of Cardigan Bay.
The beautiful harbor village of Aberdovey which is renowned for its mild climate, sandy beaches, sailing and a championship 18 Golf Course is approximately 3 miles away.
There are many outdoor activities which can be enjoyed within close proximity to Plas Panteidal i.e. Sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, yachting, rock climbing, abseiling, hill walking, pony trekking, sea fishing to name but a few.
Plas Panteidal Chalet Park is set in 40 acres of steeply rising wooded hillside overlooking the scenic splendor of the Dovey Estuary.
Idris Heights has been insulated internally and plaster boarded too making it look more like a bungalow inside than a chalet and contains all the amenities required for a self catering Holiday.
All the rooms have electric heating and upvc double glazing.
Idris Heights has the benefit of a luxury shower room and a separate cloakroom.
We would advise that due to the hillside location and general terrain that Idris Heights is not suitable for the disabled.
Electric is paid by guests using a coin operated meter that takes ÂŁ1 and ÂŁ2 coins.
Bed sheets are provided for all 3 beds.
Please bring your own towels etc.
No smoking inside the chalet.
No pets.
Free outside parking.
Information pack sent via email in PDF format shortly after booking confirmation.
Important Information About the Water Supply
Our water comes from a natural spring, which contains tannins, organic compounds from vegetation, that can give the water a light brown tint. This is completely natural and not harmful.
The water is regularly tested and was most recently certified as safe to drink by Gwynedd Council on May 25th, 2025. Documentation of these test results is available on request.
For your comfort, we also provide multiple 5L bottles of mineral water, should you prefer an alternative for drinking or cooking.

everything we needed
brilliant stay, lovely views out onto the beach from front decking and lovely garden at rear, had everything we needed genuinely couldn't fault it! lovely location although the way up is very steep and bumpy the view is well worth it! local shops in Tywyn only 6/7 miles down the road with some lovely beaches on the way! would recommend to anyone.

Fabulous
A gorgeous chalet in a lovely peaceful spot, with an amazing view. It was very well presented and clean and provided all you need for a stay in Aberdovey. Unfortunately for us it rained during our stay but we didn't mind as we couldn't wait to get back to the chalet and sit in front of the lovely electric fire with the gorgeous view of the beach behind us. We Couldn't fault it. Thank you.

Cosy chalet in an idyllic setting
Idris Heights offers high quality accommodation and facilities, with stunning views looking out over the estuary.
The chalet is well equipped, well kept and maintained to a high standard; and was very clean throughout.
It is exactly as pictured and in my opinion is extremely good value for money.
My fiancé and I enjoyed a peaceful, relaxing and very comfortable weekend break at Idris Heights, so much so that we did not want to return home.
This was our first stay at Idris Heights but we are already planning our return trip as we cant wait to go back.
Idris Heights truly is a slice of heaven up in the mountain tops.

Karen February:
Great chalet with spectacular views
We really enjoyed our stay at the chalet.
The instructions were excellent and the place was spotlessly clean.
Lots of wildlife to see for the kids and spectacular views from the chalet and on the walking path behind.
Laner09:
Great
On the day before our trip we received an email with a handbook including everything we could possibly need during our stay,
A code for the box holding the keys and its location.
Upon arriving we located the box and entered the property and straight away we were really impressed with how nice and to what a high standard the property was finished to. T
he setting was lovely and peaceful. It did seem that everything had been thought of.
If your looking to get away in that area for a really great price I would really recommend it.

so central
We stayed here over a glorious weekend, it was easy to find. The chalet had every thing any one could want and was clean and had great views. We travelled up to snowdonia national park, what fantastic views on every bend of the road. On the way back we stopped in Bethgelert for food, what a beautiful village. We visited the grave and walked round the grounds.
Beautiful

The beauty of Wales!
Everything was perfect! Charming home with breathtaking views of countryside and water. Extremely clean and comfortable. Checkin was easy, finding place was easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Location
Arrived at the accommodation during heavy rain and some, but soon settled into the chalet as it warmed up quickly. Found everything we needed with good, clear, detailed instructions. Kitchen was really well equipped although as our stay was only for 3 nights so didn't use it to full advantage. All the rooms were clean and maintained to a high standard, particularly bathroom and shower. Had a little query about parking when we arrived which Mark responded to even though he was out of the country!
The star of the show was the location, although a steep climb up the winding hill, once there we got some spectacular view over the estuary which changed everyday. It was quiet as it was probably because the season was not in full swing. It was a short drive into Aberdyfi which was charming and had a good mix of shops, pubs and cafe. After the rain stopped we were treated to some lovely weather for the next couple of days. Had a lovely stay and would definitely book again. A tip would be to avoid parking next to the chalet in wet weather... unless you are an expert and maneuvering in reverse down a sleep and bendy tarmac drive!
