Hay Loft, a two-storey, first-floor apartment, consists of an open-plan living space with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, dining seating, and sitting area with Smart TV and sofa bed. There is a second-floor twin room with TV, serviced by an en-suite shower room and cloakroom. Outside, there is a shared garden with lawn, furniture, and summer house, and roadside parking available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a car park nearby. You'll find a shop in 1.4 miles, a pub and beach in 0.1 miles, and a river in 1.3 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels inc. in rent. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Town: Anstruther is the principal village on Fifeâs East Neuk Coast and was formerly two distinct burghs, Anstruther West and East. The two parts of the village are divided by the Dreel Burn. Anstruther was originally founded as a fishing village and played a major role in the Scottish herring industry. The history is well documented in the Scottish Fisheries Museum sitting alongside the attractive and busy harbour. Now popular with tourists, Anstruther offers many cafes, bars, galleries and restaurants including the award-winning Anstruther Fish Bar, and tourists sit around the harbour enjoying their traditional fish and chips. The harbour is now home to the many pleasure craft offering trips along the coast or to the Isle of May in the Firth of Forth to view the puffin and seal colonies. Across the Forth is Edinburgh and this is easily accessed by car or public transport for an exciting day out. Another popular attraction is the Secret Bunker, a former Cold War nuclear bunker now open to the public. With beautiful coastal walks, the proximity of many golf courses, including St Andrews, Anstruther has so much to offer the visitor.
