This stunning pair of reverse-level properties offer fabulous accommodation for large families and groups of friends seeking an elegant hideaway in a glorious spot along Devonâs border with Cornwall. With ample space for 24 guests across twelve bedrooms, the two identical retreats have been lovingly decorated throughout, each featuring a charming balcony and a luxurious hot tub. The nearby Holsworthy Golf Club offers a free round, discounted food and drink and buggy access, all subject to availability. The properties also share access to some beautiful lakes â fishing and paddleboarding can be arranged.
Each of the cottages has a gorgeous open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner on the first floor. Large picture windows offer wonderful views towards the lakes, while each lounge has a Smart TV and sumptuous seating. To one side thereâs a beautiful main dining area alongside a breakfast bar/island over by the sleek, elegantly arranged kitchen. Each property also has a generous first-floor balcony with plenty of seating. Across the properties, you will have a choice between twelve stylishly decorated bedrooms â there are ten super-king-size rooms (each of which can be configured as twins) and two twins; four rooms have en-suite facilities and each house has two additional invigorating bathrooms. Stepping outside, both properties have a delightful patio area with plenty of garden furniture, a hot shower and a bubbling hot tub with Bluetooth speakers. Private off-road parking is available for up to ten cars.
Holsworthy golf course is within half a mile and is run and owned by the owners of Weekstone Lakes Estates. A complimentary round of golf is available to guests plus discount off Food and Drink in the restaurant. Free transport can also be arranged to and from the golf course by arrangement.
On site, there are lakeside trails, paddleboarding and fishing. Holsworthy (2.5 miles) has a choice of pubs, shops and cafes, or you can head to the popular coastal resort of Bude (7 miles). Walkers can explore the Hartland Heritage Coast (7 miles), or visit inland attractions such as Dunsland, Tamar Lakes Activity Centre and Dunsdon National Nature Reserve, all within 8 miles.
