Enjoying an idyllic location in a stunning part of the magical Shropshire countryside, this beautifully updated barn conversion is an ideal retreat for larger families and groups of friends exploring a glorious stretch of the England/Wales border. With plenty of room for twelve guests, the elegantly furnished and simply decorated reverse-level property features a gorgeous main living area, six delightful bedrooms and a fantastic activity room. Offfering superb far-reaching rural views, this fabulous, bright and spacious getaway is perfect for walkers, hikers and nature spotters exploring the tranquil Shropshire Hills National Landscape.
Entering this detached barn conversion, head upstairs into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge has sumptuous seating, with a Smart TV and wood burner, and floor-to-ceiling gable-end windows offering glorious views. The sleek and fully equipped kitchen has plenty of storage and workspace, and the central dining table is perfect for a family feast. There are six light, relaxing bedrooms to choose between: on the ground floor, there are two super-king-size rooms and a twin, while the first floor has three super-king-size rooms â one of which has an en-suite. The property also features a refreshing first-floor bathroom, plus a shower room on each floor. In addition, the ground floor has a spacious games/yoga room with underfloor heating, a Smart TV, a Sonos speaker, table football and table tennis. Outside, the private patio is an ideal spot for a BBQ. In the summer, guests can use the tables and chairs in the nearby field. Private parking is available for six cars.
The Shropshire Hills offer miles of glorious walks, with local attractions including Stiperstones National Nature Reserve, The Lawley, Acton Scott Heritage Farm, the Bog Mine and Earlâs Hill Nature Reserve, all within 15 miles. The medieval town of Shrewsbury (10 miles) is known for its Tudor-era buildings and riverside walks along the Severn.
