A vibrant hub for outdoor adventure, this homely cottage is nestled in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, perfectly positioned for a family or friends to explore the rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands. Youâll find this escape in Aviemore, a beloved destination that holidaymakers return to year after year. Best known for its excellent snow sports offerings, Cairngorm Mountain (10 miles) provides skiing and snowboarding in abundance, but you can also explore the mountain on foot or by mountain bike. Head to Glenmore (7 miles) to dive into activities in Glenmore Forest Park, admire the pine, heather, and blueberries along the walking trails at Allt Mor (7.5 miles), or enjoy the peaceful scenery at Loch Morlich Beach (6.5 miles). Keen sailors will love venturing out onto the water from the Loch Morlich Sailing Club (5.5 miles). This original railway cottage has been lovingly maintained with traditional features, yet modernised to offer everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Upon arrival, you'll notice a spacious and versatile utility room with a washing machine, a drying rack, and plenty of room to hang coats, and store boots and outdoor adventure equipment.
