Tucked away on a working farm in the heart of Swansea Valley, this beautiful, stone-built barn offers the perfect countryside retreat for family getaways or gatherings with friends. Surrounded by the natural beauty of South Wales, the accommodation is arranged in a reverse-level layout to make the most of the rural views, providing an idyllic base to explore the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons).
The ground floor hosts three stylishly designed bedrooms. The king-size bedroom offers an elegant retreat and an en-suite shower room. Across the hall, a delightful double bedroom features a wrought-iron bedstead, while the twin room, complete with a TV and DVD player, is perfect for children or friends sharing. This level also boasts a contemporary family bathroom and a games room. Upstairs, the first-floor living area takes full advantage of the stunning countryside views. The bright and spacious lounge is a haven for relaxation, with comfortable seating and French doors that open onto a private balcony. The open-plan kitchen/diner is a chef’s dream, with modern appliances and everything needed to prepare delicious meals. Outside, the barn offers an enclosed garden with a lawn, terrace, and outdoor furniture, ideal for al fresco dining or family BBQs. Private parking for up to four cars ensures convenience throughout your stay.
10 miles away, Bannau Brycheiniog is a paradise for walkers, cyclists, and adventurers. For coastal days, head to the stunning Gower Peninsula, located 16.5 miles away, and ramble a section of the coastal path. Closer to home, the vibrant town of Pontardawe (2 miles) offers family-friendly attractions such as a leisure and arts centre, swimming pool, cinema, and indoor bowls. For beach lovers, Aberavon Beach (10.5 miles), Swansea Beach (13.5 miles), and the Mumbles (16.5 miles) promise seaside fun for all ages.
