This delightful cottage, situated between the foot of Glen Isla and the Vale of Strathmore, in the market town of Alyth, is the perfect base for individuals, couples and families looking to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Angus and Perthshire. Alyth is perfectly placed for exploring the Cateran Trail and Angus Glens. Lintrathen Loch (5 miles) and the mighty River Tay (13.5 miles) offer superb fishing opportunities. A golferâs paradise, there are 3 courses, on the perimeter of the village, and the renowned Blairgowrie Golf Club is only 5 miles away. Youâll also find local walking and cycling trails, which provide a tranquil escape for wildlife watching. Bike hire is available in the village. One of Scotland's most iconic castles, Glamis Castle is 10.5 miles away, or enjoy Glenshee Ski (19 miles), Ski hire at the centre or locally. Thereâs a thriving arts, craft and music scene, with events throughout the year.
