À propos de cet hébergement
3 Bed in Corwen (oc-fl009)
A stylish exposed stone cottage set in a blissfully secluded location deep in the emerald North Wales countryside on the fringes of the Clocaenog Forest. This sleek hideaway is perfect for outdoorsy families or small groups of friends seeking a touch of luxury. Strap on the hiking boots and venture through the beautifully contrasting scenery on the Alwen Reservoir Circular (12 miles), before sipping a tipple and resting weary feet in the crackling glow of the wood burner.
This elegant property blends country charm with contemporary flair, featuring rustic wooden beams, oak flooring, and chic minimalist styling. Crunch along the gravel driveway then unravel woolly outdoors layers in the grand high-vaulted hallway. Step through the stone archway down into the lounge and stretch out on the plush sofas to admire the rolling mountain views beyond. Rustle up a post-adventure supper in the glossy kitchen then settle around the large wooden feasting table for a memorable meal. As the night draws in, rest up in three tranquil bedrooms each with crisp linens, wrought-iron bedframes, and coordinated soft fabrics. Choose from an en-suite king on the first floor or ascend the open tread staircase to discover a further en-suite king and an adaptable twin/king. Throw open the patio doors and savour a morning coffee overlooking the Aran mountain range from the private patio.
Scope out the mysterious moss-covered ruins of Ffynnon Sara in Derwen (2 miles) or amble the historic streets of Ruthin (7.5 miles) complete with tempting coffee shops, a craft centre, and an abundance of woodland walks. Kick up the pace with an adrenaline-fuelled peddle along the rugged terrain of Coed Llandegla Mountain Bike Trail (16 miles).
